Paper Source

They have a lot of unique papers (as in sheets of paper) and stationery items. I really don’t shop for these things, but I was with my mom, who I guess understands a lot about arts and crafts and wanted to do a collage using fancy paper. She was impressed by the offerings, which were high quality and diverse. It’s kind of an upscale Papyrus.

I discovered this store three days ago, although I found out it’s been there for about two years. The selection of cards & other nice items is really good and everything looked lovely; there are lots of temptations. The manager was *very* friendly, and the other workers were also friendly & very helpful.

I love all things paper so with a name like Paper Source what is not to love. It does not hurt that absolutely everyone inside the store (employees and customers) are probably the bestiest people out there so it feels like an insider club of all-​people-​who-​love-​paper. There really should be such a club no?

All the staff were informative and extremely friendly without hovering. Great experience!

Awesome shop. They have a he choice of handcrafted products, funny books and a lot of interesting things such as cool projector for cellphone and etc. really friendly and helpful stuff

This place is so cute and has unique craft supplies for practically any occasion.
I came for 3 things: gift wrap, stamps and planner supplies.
1. Gift wrap.
Their gift wrap paper is absolutely gorgeous! They have almost every color you can practically think of for any occasion. I picked up this turquoise and gold gift wrap that was about $ 4 for 1 square sheet. Yikes! A bit pricey… but it was so beautiful to pass up. I usually buy gift wrap rolls that can range from $ 3 – 5, but here they had gift wrap sheets that ranges from $ 3 – 5 for just 1 sheet! Wow! Although the gift wrap is beautiful and unique, it’s still steep for my taste.
2. Planner supplies.
They had a small selection of Washi tape which I like to use for marking out dates for my planner or for arts & crafts. They had cute post-​it /​sticky notes and collections. I ended up not getting anything since I already owned most of the items that they carried. I had previously purchased the same items that were also sold at Papyrus. There isn’t much of a sticker collection. Pretty much just a little here and there. They have a small selection planners, I think at the time that I came they had only 2 or 3 different kinds.
3. Stamps.
They have a wall dedicated to just stamps but I was really bummed that at the time of my visit they did not have a single clear cling-​on stamp. I came specifically for clear stamps and was disappointed not to find one especially since they do offer card making classes here. (–1 star)
All in all I do like the place and introduced 2 of my other friends to buy supplies here. Hopefully next visit they’ll have more stamp options.

Best place for unique greeting cards and little gifts.

I love this new find! There are so many fun-​themed items throughout the store. It’s a good place to get someone a little something or even for yourself. It is a little overpriced, but a lot of items are different than your typical store. Staff was not overbearing (which I like), but did ask if we needed help and greeted us. Loved everything about this store & will definitely be back!

I am an avid carmaker, so going to a paper shoppe in NY sounds like a great idea to me. There is a small stamp section, clearance in the back and a crafting area. The cutesy little things in the shoppe are cool too – bacon/​owl/​mustache themed stuff are abundant. Just going to this place and getting a well priced unique New York stamp is worth the adventure.

If I were a rich woman, I could def blow a couple hundred dollars at Paper Source each month! I love everything in this store :) They have a great selection of gifts, cards, stationary and even random things like hair ties and nail decals. I felt like the staff were a little laissez-​faire, which is fine with me. They didn’t feel particularly helpful or welcoming, but I liked just being able to browse. Of course it’s pretty pricey (and the sale section is a joke, with overpriced Christmas items that were still overpriced in April). However, I love this place for a little visual pick-​me-​up, and it’s a great place to buy higher-​end paper items!

I am addicted to Paper Source! I think I will need to set some rules for myself to avoid going completely broke shopping at this store. Everything in the store is so beautiful! I especially love their collection of stamps, ink pads, and embossing powders. Their collection of fine papers and wrapping paper is also beautiful. Recently I purchased several journal-​style books to record information about my relatives. I am looking forward to interviewing my grandparents and parents and know I will cherish their answers for years to come! Some of the products are slightly more expensive than other stores, but the quality is high and they are too cute to resist.
