Great place for craft beer. Abundant beer selection. Bartenders are so friendly. You can always ask for any beer samples. You can also order food as well. I was just too drunk to eat since I was flabbergasted with the beer selection here.

They turned a burger joint beer place into a sushi ramen beer place. And it WORKS! It’s a lot of fun hanging out here and the food is amazing and affordable and fast! We were getting to The King And I and needed a quick dinner before the show. On Tap was perfect.

Totally unexpected find in a Whole Foods. Went to get some beer and found that this location has a bar. Nice selection of draft beers a also full access to bottle brews. They also have a nice selection of food. Have been there a couple of times since the first time i found it with friends.

Best kept secret inside of Whole Foods. After going to On Tap I will never get Whole Foods pre-made food ever again. Its expensive, the lines are crazy and the food is freshly made but essentially its sitting out for hours on end. On Tap is located INSIDE of Whole Foods in Columbus Circle. On tap is a mini bar/restaurant that sells great wine, over 100 different types of beer and good food all at great prices. It gets crowded at times but there is always seating. For the same price as a small portion of food in Whole Foods which they weigh you can get an entire meal at On Tap. Theres never any long lines or wait time and you can take the food to go if you’d like. I have tried multiple things from the Cheeseburger to the Buffao Wings to the chili and everything is good. I would highly recommend walking in here and getting your food here rather than dealing with the hassle and small portions that Whole Foods offers!

I ordered a beer which sounded good in its description. When I tasted it, however, it was horrific. I asked the bartender if I can have a different drink. He responded nastily and unprofessionally, saying that I should have tasted it before ordering it. To me, that ranks as extraordinarily poor service.

Poor service by two less than interested employees. Doubt my wife will ever want to come back.

One of the easiest stops for post work wine consumption. This no frills shop, is neatly tucked in the comforts of whole foods. It isn’t fancy but the workers make it worth it. If i had to describe them, I’d say they are a nice reflection of the diversity found in NYC. Service professionals who work hard and are always the right amount of friendly, no more or less than the patrons need. The highlight has to be there 99+ beer selection located… on a wall. Gotta love it. I once overheard a Belgium customer being surprised that they carried his favorite beer. They have a fairly decent rotating selections of beer on tap. And always have one cider option on tap. The food is really hit or miss but it’s digestible. The large seating tables are on point so large groups can congregate. The smallest setting holds 6 seats. Give it a try if you want to sip and dash.

All Whole Foods stores should have bars… just sayin’. They even have a bar food menu, although I didn’t try anything off it. Decent selection of things on tap, 116 kinds of bottled beer, plus wine. Prices were decent as well.

Decent beer selection but the service is shoddy. False advertising galore(«$ 10 dog and pint» sign out front only to be charged $ 20 after we ordered) and then rude statements and glares from both after we pointed it out.

Great beer but the ordering is terrible. They forgot to put our order in and we waited 30 minutes for nothing. I would have had a burger but no such luck. I recommend staying on top of your order because they are not organized back there. They did comp us a salad bar but who wants salad when you really want a burger?

I would expect a place with food inside a whole foods to have at least a few solid gluten free options, but alas i was stuck with a burger they refuse to cook less than medium well with no bun and a side salad A solid staple of my diet, but considering it’s in whole foods, I was expecting more options I could eat, like the nachos or chili, which were sadly not gluten free… I understand you can bring food in from the rest of the grocery store, but I just woud have hoped they made a greater effort for people with food issues at a restaurant in whole foods…

This is a great little gem inside of the Whole Foods in Columbia Circle. They have a walk up counter/bar where you place your order, and you get a number to place on your table The food is delivered to your table. They have a small list of excellent beers on tap, all unusual but excellent craft beers, and some of them are super high on ABV. There’s a much larger list of bottled beers. The food list is also a little small, but really good quality. I’ve had their burger, and just tried the Mediterranean chicken. The description on the menu was a little misleading: I wasn’t expecting what was really a kind of chicken pizza or flatbread chicken plate, but it was excellent. It came with ricotta cheese and an excellent balsamic vinegar. I’ve come here several times when on visits to New York, and find it a kind of budget choice for getting good beers and pub grub. My chicken and beer was $ 16. They also have a couple of screens showing sport events, so you might almost be in a sports bar. It’s a great place for a meal if you’re shopping here, or if you’re visiting and want a semi good quality budget meal and beer.

If you’re here for beer, it’s good but the service is sooo slow. Ordered a hot dog and pint during happy hour in a slow period and the server took forever to take my order and wasn’t helpful and worse yet the food room over 20 mins! Ridiculous. And not cheap.

Excellent place to hang out with a great variety of craft beers to try out. We also had the beef nachos which was delicious and definitely packed with meat. They don’t skimp out on you here, which is what I like. Even on a Friday night, my friend and I chilled out here and nobody was forcing us to hurry to leave. The place is a great place just to relax and chill out with friends. The bartenders here are also super nice. They are so helpful with anything and everything you need help with.

3.5 stars… Little hidden gem inside the whole food supermarket. Tons of beer selections whether on tap or bottles, food is just okay. The hotdog and the chicken tenders are nothing special… will try their nachos next time… it’s a good spot to kill some time, grab a nice beer and do grocery shopping at this whole food, arguably the best whole foods in NYC! Don’t eat here though, bunch of good restaurants upstairs inside the time warner center.
