We went on a Friday, had oysters, very good! we ordered fish and chips and fish tacos as our mains. the fish and chips were very good! the fish tacos were no good at all. I will be going again as they have a lot of other things on the menu. The waitress Vera was MIA a lot of the time but she was friendly and helpful when she was around. Someone else had to get our check for us when we were ready to go.

Service was mediocre at best. The servers need an attitude check ASAP. However, kale & avocado salad was to die for. Very busy and not sure why its just classic american food. Not super vegetarian friendly either.

Service was incredible slow. People came in after us was served and left before our food came. Waitress said it takes longer to prepare a chopped steak. WTF. Avoid like the plague.

I’ve eaten here a couple times. It is very pricey. I think it’s a fun place to go to if you’re touring the area or pressed for time to see a show at Lincoln Center. It is pretty noisy and can get very crowded. They do not take reservations. The music should be turned down. I was struggling to hear across the table. The service is alright. They rave about their seafood but I wasn’t that impressed. However, their Fish and Chips were very good! Overall, it’s a nice restaurant. If you have time to look for another place, there are much better restaurants on the Upper West Side.

I ate here for the first time with a friend during Fashion Week. It was super crowded(It’s NYC!) and I didn’t care because my crab cake was from another planet. It was the best crab cake that I have ever had and I am from DC — close to Maryland… I dream about this crab cake often… If you visit, get the crab cake! My friend had the buffalo chicken sandwich and she said it was the best she had ever had, so I assume, they just have good food. :)

We ate here before the opera. The food is OK, but the noise level! There are two dining levels — upstairs where the loudspeakers are, well, LOUD, and downstairs where it’s just noisy — we had to shout across the table to talk amongst four people. It was VERY crowded — we had to wait for about 20 minutes to get a table downstairs. Once seated, the waiter was pleasant, service was reasonable, the food was OK and the bill reasonable. Overall, if the noise was at least at a tolerable level I would give it three stars. This appears to be a popular tourist spot, so it that’s your thing, you will enjoy it. I will not return.
