Oatmeals is a great place for breakfast, lunch, or a coffee or cookie. The elvis is delicious. I want to try some more things when I am in the area and interested in oatmeal. They are average priced. Definitely worth the price for a regular sized outmeal, it is filling and delicious.

I love this place and if give it 5 stars if it was more consistent. Today for example I went and I got a small Elvis and the girl who made it DROWNED it in almond butter and honey :(it was kind of gross. There was barely any oatmeal at the bottom. This was the first time I was unhappy with my oatmeal. Also, it’s not a very good place for sitting down because there are only two tables to sit down with another person and they’re so short u can’t even put your knees under them. I’ve been there about 5 or 6 times and USUALLY the signature oatmeal bowls are very delicious.

Love love LOVED OatMeals. Now I must preface by saying I am an oatmeal lover by nature but this place is great. It’s a tiny little shop only a few seats but I didn’t mind since no one is normally tying to sit down for oatmeal right, so I just came for oatmal to go… You can either make your own or get one of the Signature Bowls in small medium or large. They had SO many toppings that I couldnt decide on what to make on my own. the guy at the counter was super friendly and helpful I told him i wanted something with peanut butter and he suggested the«Hot Date» and I am SOGLADHEDID. It was amazing. It had dates, pecans, their signature granola, peanut butter and honey. It was seriously an amazing combination. I can’t wait to come back and try another one of their signature oatmeal bowls !!! yummmmmm

I come here usually on Fridays after my 9:30 a.m. class(I go to NYU). Sometimes it is crowded, but most of the time, it’s not. My go-to is water-based Blueberry Maple Walnut with added banana and strawberries. Their coffee with soy milk is also great. Just a heads up, they don’t accept Amex! Overall, it’s a nice morning treat and one of my favorite places around campus.

I HAVE to come back for oatmeal. Went in for a quick coffee after I’d just eaten. Super cute vibe, mostly students inside. Sad to see it closes at 5! I’ll make it back for oatmeal sometime soon!

OatMeals is an awesome place to get a healthy breakfast in Greenwich. They have a lot of different options for every taste preference. I’ve gotten the traditional brown sugar and raisin as well as the pumpkin pie. Both were very good and I would highly recommend! Sometimes it’s good to switch up the typical NYC bagel breakfast.

They only provide plastic spoons in plastic bags. I asked for metal and they gave me one of their barista spoons, which although cool service, is not too cool for a place that prides itself on better than homemade. In addition, there’s no mention of responsible ingredient sourcing… organic, local/fresh, non-transfat, etc. Aside from the plastic spoon aesthetic, the service was very good and the location cute. I had the Indian spiced with low fat milk oats(instead of water). It was much too sweet, quite small for the price, watery, and I honestly didn’t love the oats. We make oatmeal at home weekly and save for the novelty of the ingredients here, I prefer my own oatmeal. For example, we freshly toast our almonds at home. The almonds at Oatmeals lacked flavor in comparison. I wanted to like it more. Perhaps my expectations were too high.

When I lived in the area, I literally came here every other day. You might be wondering how I could possibly eat so much oatmeal without getting bored, and my answer would be variety! This place offers not only sweet AND savory combinations, but also the option to customize! The strawberry shortcake is my go-to combination in terms of oatmeal, but I’ll add that you should try the maple oatmeal scone as well!

Small, quaint coffee shop near NYU. Good coffee, but the space is rather small. Also, it might not be the best place to get some work done as there are no outlets available to plug in your phone or laptop.

3.5 Stars The allure here is that you can add a lot of variety to your steel cut oats or just get a suggested combination(the signature bowls). There’s fresh fruits, dried fruits, nuts and seeds, sweet or savory add-one, and different dollops and drizzles. This oatmeal base itself isn’t my favorite since I prefer a different brand than Quaker Oats. The oats here don’t seem nutty or chewy enough. The Indian Spice addition was quite soothing though — a combo of crystallized ginger, cinnamon, and cardamom. I didn’t taste any coconut milk and the top of the oatmeal was rather watery from all the liquid. It might be interesting to come back to try another flavor combination.

A very small hole in the wall place near NYU. I went with a friend on a chilly fall Sunday morning and it was full but not too crowded. We were able to get seats and the service was efficient if not chaotic. I got the salted caramel apple and it was so delicious. It was perfectly balanced between salty and sweet. I got it with water based oatmeal which was perfect and not too rich. My friend got the cinnamon bun with milk based oatmeal and she loved it. We both completely finished our meals and will hopefully come again soon

I opted for the savory route my first time at OatMeals, and picked up the Mama Bear sized(sizes are Baby Bear, Mama Bear, or Papa Bear, instead of small, medium, or large. Cute!) Croque Monsieur bowl. The helpful staff member behind the counter gave me the option to choose milk-based or water-based steel-cut oatmeal. I went with milk-based, and this totally hit the spot for me! The menu is terrific, but I really think what sets OatMeals apart from what you might make at home each morning is the savory portion of the menu. I will definitely be back for seconds. This place was great. My only complaint is that I would have liked a cozier spot to sit down. This is really set up for carry out… but when it’s cold out, I’d rather sit down and enjoy it while it’s hot! The tables are a bit too low to eat at I found. That said, it certainly didn’t detract from my morning, which was kicked off in style with a delicious warm bowl of yum!

I absolutely can’t get enough of oatmeal. As much as I love it, OatMeals puts my homemade oatmeal to shame. I came across this place unfortunately RIGHT after I just ate breakfast. I was so bummed that I just ate and wasn’t hungry for a big bowl of oatmeal. I did end up splurging on a banana oatmeal muffin, which was very good and filling. This place is a really awesome concept. It’s like, your grandma’s oatmeal meets frozen yogurt bars meets gourmet coffee shop. I saw they have a ton of different topping options to choose from. Basically everything from chia seeds to fruit. They also had a large menu of different oatmeal options, which all sounded amazing. Like, who knew oatmeal could be so delicious? They also have coffees, lattes and espresso, which makes it all around the perfect morning. Next time I come here, I will be ready and hungry– especially for oatmeal.

Love the all the oatmeal options… Sweet and savory. I usually go for their«signature bowls» because when make my own it’s never quite right. Great iced tea as well. The muffins are straight up addictive.

Alright, I managed to return to OatMeals and I left far more satisfied than my last visit. My boyfriend and I stopped in for a fairly late breakfast and the place was surprisingly empty. Had it not been such a beautiful day we probably would’ve sat there, but instead we chose to eat in a park nearby. He got the Elvis(peanut butter, banana, bacon, honey, sea salt) and an iced coffee while I got the quatre fruit rouges(strawberries, raspberries, raisins, dried cherries, honey). Having learned from my previous visit I asked them to add peanut butter in order to give my dish more body. My boyfriend’s order was by far the best of the two. The saltiness of the bacon REALLY worked with the peanut butter and oats. He wound up having to wrestle his bowl away from me. My dish was good, but if I hadn’t ordered peanut butter it definitely would’ve been pretty weak. I think the best item on the menu is definitely the Elvis, but if you added peanut butter to the Canadian it could be amazing. I would definitely recommend a breakfast at OatMeals, but if you don’t add peanut butter(or some type of sauce) expect to be a bit disappointed.

I have never liked oatmeal because it makes me feel like I’m eating baby food but this place is sooo good. It’s a pretty tiny store with not that many seats; when I came in around 9:30 a.m. everything was full so I had to take mine to go. You can choose from almond or milk based oatmeal then pick your own toppings, or choose from their premade combinations. I got the peaches and cream which was heavenly, the oatmeal was warm and the cream was cool. Not sure about the healthiness of that one but it tasted great. Wish I had gotten a larger size.

The Antioxidant Awakening(pomegranate seeds, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, dark chocolate chips, and honey) is so so so good and refreshing. The Canadian, a more savory option, is weird. Oatmeal should be sweet

In all honesty, everyone who walks in here understands that they can make this meal themselves. But considering it’s fairly priced and put together so nicely, you’ll keep coming back here even though you could buy a box o’ oatmeal and some chocolate chips at Fairway. I wouldn’t suggest coming here in the summer, as there’s no AC and it’s f&%king hot as balls in there. Take your grub to go, sit on a park bench and enjoy the creamy oats paired with whatever healthy or unhealthy topping you chose.

Interesting concept in theory, but the execution was pretty underwhelming. I dropped by for a late lunch on a Saturday after yoga class nearby, and it was my lucky day because there happened to be one open seat left in this tiny shop. I decided to go with the Elvis(peanut butter, banana, bacon, honey, sea salt). The bacon bits were good(as they always are) but even with the mix of ingredients, I found it pretty bland in general. The peanut butter drizzled on top was its saving grace and added some much-needed flavor. Overall, I didn’t really find my oatmeal worth the price.

very glad my friend showed me this cute little place. It has a very cozy atmosphere and perfect for cold days as well as being healthy stress food for studying. The 2 girls that worked there that day were very kind and patiently answered any questions I had. Although it was a bit pricey, my peanut butter and banana oatmeal hit the spot. They seemed to be out of a lot of ingredients that day I went(hence minus one star) like raspberries. They also forgot to give my friend walnuts in her oatmeal. But I will be coming back :)
