Jenny and her husband Steven are wonderful artists and have a truly dedicated space to all things mani and pedi. Jenny has made me believe in manicures and pedicures for my general health and style and for the past 15 years I cannot wait for my visits with her. Treat yourself and pay a visit to nyc’s finest nail technician. Miss Jenny never disappoints and sadly doesn’t charge enough!

This place takes their time to ensure your nails perfect when you leave. Elaina is amazing! Definitely returning every 2 weeks.

Really enjoyable & reasonable. 65dollars for pedicure massage and manicure… had an hour & bit to wait for my husband and walked in and got seen straight away. Massage chair is deadly. Really relaxing & would highly recommend. Also gavw me flip flops cause my shoes would have wrecked my pedicure! So cool! Thank you!

Admittedly I come here because it’s right down the street but they have never failed me. Super reasonable for NYC. This is a small place. Not one where you can make an appointment and expect them to be ready right at that time. I usually walk in in the afternoon and don’t wait but it depends. Always do a solid job.

Friendly service, great nail work, and the the best massages. Just don’t go during rush hour… Docking a star for a bad waxing experience, but it’s still my regular spot.

I’m a guy but I do have 2 daughters so I decided to bring them here for a manicure before a play date. The staff was lovely and took care of my girls real well. Don’t know much about quality of the nails or what not but my kids loved them.

Worst pedicure I ever had. The girl did not work on all of my calluses and the salon had no paper flip flops, so you could either use a pair of used rubber flip flops or walk barefoot to the dryers. It was $ 34.00 for a pedicure that painted my toenails and smoothed my heels. The girl I worked with was completely ill equipped. Her massage skills were non — existence and there seemed to be no oversight from a manager. Don’t waste your money or your time.

Don’t know why but this manicure lasts longer than others. It’s not a fancy place, it’s busy, good neighborhood following.

This place is irresponsible with personal property and no one should go there, or go at your own risk. They lost my sister’s shoes by giving them to someone else, and were totally unsympathetic about it. They didn’t offer to pay for them, or give her a credit for the manicure she had just paid for, to try to figure out what had happened to the shoes… nothing. It has been a month and the shoes never turned up. Horrible!

Nice place near my apartment. Prices are a bit high but the woman have always been lovely. You can definitely find cheaper places around the village with the same quality.

The mani-​pedi was fine and I would probably have given them 4 stars, taking off one for lack of décor and scheduling issues – I went there with my sister and we had called ahead and said we wanted to be done together but instead they did her pedi first and then mine. Which was really OK, as we were not in a hurry and 80s supermodel Helena C dashed in for a last-​minute mani-​pedi so I got to sit next to her. Later they made room for my sister to sit next to me when her mani was done so we could chat without rushing us. And they have a great selection of colors.
BUT – AND THIS IS A GIANT BUT – THEY GAVE MY SHOES TO SOMEONE ELSE! And then all they would give me was a card for a free mani. They kept telling me that the woman was a regular and would for sure bring my shoes back on Monday because she works in the area. And they generously said I could keep the pedi flipflops. But when I said I wanted my money back they forgot how to speak English and yelled at each other in Mandarin. And I still don’t have my shoes and have no idea when/​if I will get them back. There were not expensive shoes but they were very comfy. The only solace I have is that the shoes left behind were clearly custom orthotic shoes and a different size so I think the owner will want hers back and I HOPE will bring mine back to exchange. I left my # and I will of course call them to find out. But in the meantime I was shoeless in the West Village in mid-​October and I didn’t get much satisfaction from the people whose fault it was. And we were there for over two hours.
tl;dr THEY LOST MY SHOES AND WERE NOT SYMPATHETIC ABOUT IT AND I HATE THEM

I would give Oasis zero stars if I didn’t like their selection of colors. Overall, I was paying for torture at Oasis. During my pedicure I felt my cuticles being ripped from my toes and the practitioner kept using her fingernails to make sure she wasn’t getting polish under my toenails-​painful. Then came the piece de resistance: the manicure. She cut one of my nails so far down that it cut the quick and I Unilocaled. After, she began to cut my cuticles, when I asked her not to she said «can I just clean them up in spots?» I replied yes and she proceeded to cut EVERY CUTICLE. At this point she asked me to pay. I left a low-​ish tip on the card (I’ll know from now on never to do this.) As she put me through so much pain. She then refused to finish my manicure until I gave her a higher tip! Never have I experienced such unprofessional behavior in a nail salon. I will never go back and strongly encourage anyone thinking about going to reconsider.

$ 33 for a mani and pedi. Then how the eff is it $ 34.50? I didn’t ask but, I ponder over this. Tax can’t be that much can it?
Regardless, they do a great job. They leather chairs are big and the are high quality you can really feel the massage. The color choices are extensive with almost every color under the sun for OPI and Essie. The girl who nailed me did a thorough and extensive job with my cuticles. Thank you for that! The mini massage of the legs was amazing.
Why not 5 stars? The magazine selection was outdated. Star magazine from March? Meh. Kind of annoying. Also the $ 1.50 surcharge… wtf? But, other than those two things this place is pretty legit and I’d come again especially since it’s so close to the PATH train!

This place was ok but the big decider for me was that I have been in the area since then and have not had the urge to return.
My manicure was altogether fine for a cheapie place, but the guy who did mine was up and down answering the phone the whole time I was there and although the job he did on my nails was fine, it was so utterly not relaxing.

Jenny is probably the best manicurist in New York. She does great pedicures and her back massages are amazing…
