Went here for my brows. They did a nice job, it was over in a few minutes, and cost only $ 7!

No other place around here compares. New York is filled with places that charge crazy amounts because they have a high rent to pay. Not this place!!! The owner Neelam is amazing ! Her services and prices are awesome ! Check this place out. I do all my waxing here, I come from 30 minutes away just to see her. She cares about her clients and her prices and services show it !

Service and prices are great. They do a very thorough and precise job with eyebrow shaping. The best place I’ve been to in the area. Highly recommend.

The only ladies I trust to do my brows. Always making sure my brows are on FLEEK! Seriously, I get complimented on my eyebrows almost daily. They give me the perfect arch and make them look great. I even have a scar in one of my eyebrows that shapes one of them and they make the other match. No complaints from me!

Great place i went there and got in and out literally took me 10 mins tops I was taking a break from work, I do believe it was the owner who did my eye brows but she did a great job. Will definitely go back not bad for $ 7 and after the 9^th eye brow you get one free.

This place is amazing! I have been going here for a few months after a friend recommended it and I do not trust no one else to my eyebrows. My eye brows always look wonderful. Also, your nineth visit is free! Ask for the business card.

I’ve been coming here for around a year. Great threading/​waxing salon. Fantastic prices, and they really listen to you. Clearly a lot of faithful customers from what I’ve noticed whenever I go in.

Neelam is *amazing*. I have already done my eyebrows twice with her and am still amazed by her skill and speed. It takes around 5 minutes for her to get the job done, and it’s virtually painless. She shapes them perfectly. I have been tweezing my brows forever, but her threading is unparalleled. ⁵⁄₅ would recommend!

The reviewers are right, this place is great! Neelam was my threader, and I went to her on a co-worker’s recommendation. The establishment was clean, but very small. I would recommend calling ahead and asking if they are busy. I had to wait less than 10 minutes, and the process felt like it took about 10 – 15 minutes.
Pro tip: Pay in cash and you don’t have to pay tax. They do take credit/​debit in case your in a bind for cash.

Though it’s not a fancy establishment, Neelam is absolutely amazing and she did a wonderful job! I had my eye brows threaded (for the first time ever) and it wasn’t painful and my brows look amazing. And only $ 7! Then I had a Brazilian and the wax wasn’t too hot, she was super kind, friendly, and patient, and it didn’t hurt too much! And that was $ 35. I paid with a credit card though, so there was tax. Bring cash and it’s a bit cheaper :) definitely will be coming back!!!

I first heard about this place through Unilocal.No one really knew about it, but now it’s getting popular, which means the waiting time is longer. I do my eyebrows here like every 3 months. Neelam is very patient with me because she knows I’m very possessive of my eyebrows. She listens to what you want, but will always be honest with you. In July, I came here to wax everything for the first time. I did it with a very nice lady. I think her name started with an R and she was pregnant. She waxed my armpits, full legs, and even did a brazilian wax in like an hour!!! She was great and so understanding. These two are the perfect team.

Love this place to get my eye brow threading. Neelam is awesome. It’s a popular place so there’s a wait sometimes. I’m such a regular while I was at Columbia. Sad I’m moving away and have to find a new place :(

I really really wanted to like this place. They were very busy so I waited an hour to get my brows done and they look good, BUT
The next day I developed an infected hair follicle that lasted TWO WEEKS. It caused and fever and required antibiotics and the bump on my brow swelled to the size of a large marble. I had to see multiple medical specialists, ophthalmologist, dermatologist, etc. Something wasn’t sanitary — the tweezers, her hands, scissors, even the thread. The price for nice brows may be cheap but medical bills certainly aren’t. I’m now paying $ 200 for a complication for $ 7 brows. Not. Worth. It.
Sometimes in New York you get what you pay for. Infections aren’t worth it for even the most perfect brows.

First time waxing at this shop. Stuffs are very friendly and the shop is very clean. GOOD PRICE!!!

I’ve been coming here since I moved to New York in August this year. So far, my experience here with Neelam has been great! I have thin eyebrows to begin with so when I initially spoke to Neelam about that, we figured out a way to shape my eyebrows so that they fit my face perfectly. I also had my underarms waxed by her. Fast and painless!
Neelam is AWESOME. She is friendly and very attentive. She cares about what you want, and she does her best to make sure you walk out of there satisfied with your brows. She works everyday except Sundays and Mondays. Make sure to catch her on the days she works because she is the best!

Absolutely terrible service. I went there to get my eyebrows done. The other lady Neelam was not in. The lady who was did a lousy job. I used to go to another threading salon near my job. Talk about a difference in skill level.
Then this idiot had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to add a tip to my credit card payment. She knew by my response that she was not going to get a tip from me. The level of arrogance this lady had to even ask shows how clueless she is. I will have to go to another salon to get her crappy job fixed. Do yourself a favor avoid this place.

You know. This was a great place until I was greeted by a rude employee during my last visit on Sunday, July 20^th. I’m placing the date here because I didn’t have a chance to et the employees name. She was the only employer working that day. How do I know… Allow me to explain.
I rushed over to get my eyebrows done, arrived at 6pm (they close at 6:30p), only to be told that I should have arrived earlier because she’s been there since 10am. Both Unilocal and their window sign indicates open from 10:30am — 6:30pm. I apologized and asked if she had time to do my eyebrows. She rolls her eyes, huffs and puffs, and responds «just sit down.» I sit down. She then proceeds to say, «most of our customers arrive before 6pm. You should have arrived earlier.» At this point, I had enough.
I informed her that perhaps she should change the open to close time if this is in fact the case. She responds stating that she had been there all day, opened early at 10am and deserved to go home. Believe me, I get it– you’re tired, it’s a Sunday, and probably overworked… But that isn’t my fault. Perhaps you should take this up with your employer and not a loyal customer.
What is sad is, I thought I found my threading place. It’s convenient, the older woman who usually does my brows is super friendly and does an awesome job, and decently priced. These are the reasons for the two stars.
However, I refuse to pay YOU to be scolded. Never returning again.

4 months ago I had never been threaded in my life. Now I am a faithful New York Threading Salon patron who stops in every two weeks.
I’ve been threaded by most of the women in the salon and they all do a fantastic job with my brows. They are thorough but work quickly and gently.
The price is great, there is a frequent buyer card (eighth threading is free!), they take walk-​ins and if there is ever a wait it is usually minimal. But, most importantly, they get the job done and I always come out with brows that are to die for.
I now hate myself for wasting at least 15 years of my life plucking my eyebrows. Threading is the way to go!

Walked right in, waited less than 5 minutes and got a great eyebrow threading done for $ 7…which is less than my breakfast at Starbucks cost! Amazing. She also put lotion on after and rubbed it in like I was getting a facial. I will DEFINITELY be back for more (8^th eyebrow threading is free!) and to try out their waxing.
