One of the best Indian restaurants on the west side. I do prefer the way they used to serve their dishes in separate bowls, so hopefully this whole one plate solution won’t stay. Their prices are amazing and staff is always very sweet.

More of a take-out than a dine-in restaurant. Under new Management, and still, eek! I was there this past Sunday night for dinner with my friend. When we got there around 8 pm, we were the 4th table, the other 3 tables got their food already. After we ordered, our appetizer didn’t came after 20 min, and after that another 25 – 30 min passed and everything came. Why? Because they valued take-out and delivery orders more. How do I know? Because I was there watching the delivery guy in and out with bags of food. The service was very average. We were hungry and yet the food took Forever to come and not even worth the wait! Let me briefly give a summary of each dish we ordered. 1. Chips on the house, they were still under cooked because when put in the fryer, they were sticking together, so the middle layers were not fried thoroughly, rather they were soaked in oil and stuck to your teeth when chewed.(THIS should had been the sign to leave the restaurant when a simple dish can be mesh up in this way!) When I nicely told the waitress about the raw chips and take them away, all she did was shrugged her shoulder and took them away without apologizing or offer to re-fry them… new management? hmmm 2. Appetizer # 1, 9th Ave Calamari($ 8)(Indian fried calamari.) The Calamari were not crispy at all, it was exactly 9 pieces with a lot of bread crumps on the plate to make it look more??? very disappointed with flavor and portion and texture. So called Indian style? hmm, I guess they just pinched some Indian herb and sprinkled over it. 3. Chicken Specialties # 8, Madras($ 13.95) In their Indian metal bowl of 6 – 8 oz, was 5 oz pf chicken breast, not much of a chili taste to it, not memory about it… 4. Lamb Specialties # 2 Boti Kebaba Masala($ 14.95) In their Indian metal bowl of 6 – 8 oz was about 3 – 4 oz of lamb cubes. First bite was not bad, but as you ate more, the flavor just kept getting sweeter, not a big fan. 5. Breads # 5, Kashmiri Naan($ 4.99) First time trying it, not sure what it suppose to be like, but didn’t like it. Should just stick to the classical Naan.
