An Institute means… well… that they have multiple types of doctors looking at a problem… not just one… With my most recent experience here at Mount Sinai Respiratory Institute in Manhattan is that this is most likely where the top of the medical class goes to work in medicine… not for just money… to actually help people… you know… real human beings, with real lives, with people whom love them… not just numbers on medical files… That means… here at Mt. Sinai Respiratory Institute… the experts here… look at the situation/problem sideways… upside down, diagonally…, they flip over rocks to find answers… with multiple doctors working on a problem… …and if they don’t find an answer to someone’s seriously failing health and diminishing quality of life… they will keep searching… high and low for answers, with compassion, might I add… wow… COMPASSION… what a novel thing in the medical field… glad to have found Compassion here at Mount Sinai along with doctors with actual problem solving skills. I experienced this medical amazement while spending a week here at this monstrosity of «The way medicine should be everywhere». It is legitimately mind blowing here at Mount Sinai Respiratory Institute. I traveled 3000 miles for ADVANCEDEXPERTCARE from Dr. Morgenthau whom guided my care while I was at Sinai. Mount Sinai Respiratory Institute is now closely connected to National Jewish Hospital and on the cutting edge of rare and complex respiratory conditions. I highly recommend anyone struggling for answers with respiratory issues to contact the doctors here. Mount Sinai also offers patient ambassadors, mine was Jamie Gavin, of whom will be by your side the entire time and walk you to each appointment so you are not lost amidst the six block monstrosity of Mount Sinai. They help you with appointments, lodging, parking, transportation, eating options… My experience at The Institute, was nothing short of amazing and mind blowing. I think kindness goes a long way, along with expert care and meticulous organization.
