Please note this is not for the doctor himself but the answering service the office uses. My mother in law is at the hospital and I called to find out what time the doctor would be at the hospital. I understand that it’s Saturday but an extremely rude man answered the phone, he was obviously from an answering service. He explained that he could not give me the doctors personal hours(that’s fine), I then asked for the office hours which this man refused to provide. I am NOT a patient of Dr. Kassapidis; therefore I was NOT willing to give my information, I simply needed to know what the office hours were today so that I could determine the approximate time the doctor may be at the hospital to visit my mother in law and possibly get her released. I was baffled that the man on the line was yelling at me, talking over me, and refusing to answer my question. I told him again that I wouldn’t give him my information because I’m not a patient and told him that I thought he was being rude. As he was still talking over me and yelling I hung up on him. About 10 minutes later he called me back with a private number. He yelled at me again telling me I shouldn’t have hung up on him and that he has my message recorded and he will play it for the doctor…(side note for rude man: I HOPEYOUDO!!!). after I explained to him that I did not provide my phone number to him and he has NORIGHT to be calling me back, he said I have your information on caller id and then hung up on me. WOW! Lesson to be learned… be polite or possibly have your career ruined by one upset customer. I assure you that I will let the doctor know about you and your lack of customer service.

The only reason I am giving this doctor two stars is because the office is clean, the front staff is friendly and they seem to be very organized. As for the doctor, he made me wait one and a half hours. I selected him because he is local and in my health plan but then found out he is only in this particular office two evenings a week so I waited about two weeks to be seen. When I finally get to see him he rushes me through the typical series of first time patient questions regarding medical history. Then when I tell him my concerns regarding an ongoing symptom(nausea) I had been experiencing for over a month(pregnancy already ruled out) he seems unconcerned and merely says, «that’s weird». Then he takes my blood and makes a mess of my arm. I’m out the door in under fifteen minutes. Never again.
