My go-to spot for a quick slice! Owner is a nice guy and is always professional and friendly. The pizza is always nice and hot and I love the flavor of the sauce. Highly recommend.

Worst customer service ever! I ordered garlic knots with cheese(which I always buy) and the worker added pizza sauce(which I NEVERORDER for that I could have ate a slice) so I ask him if he can make it over for me… And he said no threw my $ 2 back at me and refused to serve me anything not nice!

Really good delivery pizza. And they are so fast! The cheesy garlic bread is soooooo good.

Definitely one of the best slices in the city. Super thin crust. Tasty toppings. Rod Stewart jammin in the background. What more could you want. A true pizza joint.

The worst! Ordered the chx Alfredo pasta and in exchange for $ 13 — I got a huge mush of something that resembled baby food… Awful, I didn’t even taste it– threw it right in the trash… Would recommend it !

In a diabolical plan to conquer as many pizzerias in two weeks as humanely and physically possible, I got lost while looking for $ 1 pizza and was guided by a divine light to Luigi’s Pizza Restaurant. This place is an embodiment of what NYC pizza ought to be. Every scrumptious morsel, right down to the crust was full of flavor and detectable crunchiness. The proportions of cheese and sauce were not imbalanced and I could taste quality of pizza that this place has to offer. You could actually feel the love oozing and melting out of each and every slice. The crust was nice and crispy, just how I like my pizza. Unfortunately, I could only gorge on one slice since I was on a pizza tour but Luigi’s Pizza Restaurant has my definite stamp of approval.

We just enjoyed a perfect NY Pizza. This was a random stop and we’re happy we did. One custome came in and left, complaining about the price of a slice. We got a regular medium pizza and it was simple and exactly everything that makes east coast NY pizza the best.

I really wanted pizza for lunch today. I decided to go to an actual pizzeria instead of one of the infamous $ 1 pizza places that have watered down marinara and sprinkles of cheese. Well, I should’ve just gone there. It’s a very small, tiny would be more accurate, little pizza shop. The pizza looks good because it’s heavily coated with chicken. however the pizza has been sitting out for a while and marinara sauce was so chunky(in the worst way possible). Garlic knots were pretty good… but i mean, how can you fuck up garlic knots? It’s a bit over priced for the low quality. I paid $ 6 for a slice w/chicken and a canned soda.

Decent pizzas, but the price was a little but higher than others in the area, and the margherita pizza left a lot to be desired.

What do do when you’re waiting for a UCB show on a hot day in this non-yuppy section of Chelsea? Luigi, with a fan circulating hot air, a drunk splayed out on a table with an unfinished can of ginger ale, and a $ 1 iced coffee the owner will happily make for you while you watch soccer in Espanol.

Ordered from here through twice. Naturally, I checked Unilocal first, but couldn’t find anything(may have spelled Luigi wrong… who knows). I have to say though, I’m glad I didn’t see these reviews because I probably would have ordered from somewhere else. Thought it was awesome on the first order and placed #2 to be sure it wasn’t a fluke. It’s not life-changing or anything(then again, what pizza is), but it’s a solid delivery place. I definitely plan on ordering from Luigi’s again, despite the poor reviews…

I never write reviews on Unilocal but this place deserves one. We were looking for some pizza and wings. Almost two hours and an entire movie later, we got our pizza and the worst wings I’ve had in my life. What kind of wings they were, I don’t know, but they were certainly not the kind of buffalo/chicken wings any of us were accustomed to. After this disappointing, and not cheap, meal I decided to check on Unilocal to see what people have to say and I am not the least bit surprised. If you’re thinking about ordering from this place, don’t think any further and look elsewhere. Next time I want lousy pizza and wings I’ll go downstairs and get the microwaveable garbage from the deli. It’ll be half the price and likely twice as good.

Meh… Not a great slice, but not a bad slice either… Rude service, but I’ve come to expect that. Though it gets a little pricey for an oversized slice.

This place sucks. In fact, I loathe this shitty little place. I went here for lunch and ordered a large buffalo chicken pizza to share. 10 min…15. min…20 min… 25 min… So I go up and ask where it was and the guy says«EH?.. ah.eh?» Where is the buffalo chicken pizza? Then I see this other little shit look at the guy, and made some unknown noise, and started kneading dough. I asked if they had even started it and the guy just said«EH.ah…wha.wha.EH?» so i told him to forget it and he said«NOYOUDEEN’T PUTORDERIN!!» I told him to f’ off and went to the brick oven place. I would give this zero stars if possible.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the pizza. Pretty big slices, and only for 2 bucks. They had these mini sandwiches I used to eat when I was a kid. I don’t know what theyre called… the type with meat and cheese on a tiny sliver of bread. Anyway, they were tasty. The place is extremely narrow. The only down side to that is that you can feel the draft come straight in through the door. The men seemed to be speaking Spanish, NOT Italian, which can always be disappointing but let’s get real. How many restaurants are actually owned by and employ people of that specific ethnicity. Good food, good price, why not.

Agreed with Donna H. I only stop by when I’m late and Aviano’s is in the opposite direction. Invariably disappointed. Tonight, the banter between the guy who wanted to-go boxes and the pizza jockey was insufferable. I just want a slice, man, and give it wings!

Awful. It was not quite 10pm on a Sunday, I was hungry, just wanted to grab a slice. They had NOPIZZA except for 4 dried-up ones that looked like they had been there all day. Plus they were really rude and/or ignored most of the customers that came in. And they were trying to charge $ 2.75 for what they DID have left. Ew. No thanks. Lemme see, if everyone is coming in wanting a cheese slice, why not cook more cheese slices? Instead, they said they were closing in 5 min. If you are closing in 5 min. and are out of pizza, close now! So, I went down the street for nice service and a yummy sicilian slice for 2 bucks. Lesson: Just because the establishment has a stereotypical Italian name, that does not necessarily mean it’s good.
