I just ordered thru seamless. It says no delivery fee however they charged me $ 2 for delivery??? false advertising! The driver told me I owed him TIP! I told him he charged me $ 2 when it says clearly on seamless $ 0 delivery fee. «free delivery» !! The man insults me then he cursed me off with F bombs barley in English and I’m at a playground infront of many children! This was very disrespectful and unprofessional! I want my money back and they won’t answer their phone! I’m going up there 1st thing when I get off work!

I used to order from this place weekly. Their Szechuan dumplings were my favorite. Now they don’t make them anymore! I’m seriously bummed about this. They were the best Szechuan dumplings in the city!

Ordered seamless. Double cooked sliced pork was tasteless and rubbery(as if steamed). A large order of walnut shrimp was actually diced vegetables in soy sauce with 12 baby shrimp – also tasteless. The last item was a beef with broccoli combo with an egg roll and fried rice – this was your typical value greasy Chinese dish. Would not order anything from this place again.

Came here on a windy day in winter located on 32e 23rd street. Ordered for a egg drop soup to a busy Chinese lady who was on phone and handling multiple orders. The soup was oily and heavy and more importantly it was very hot which served the purpose. Also they have the regular lunch specials priced at 7.99. Not the best of the places to sit and eat but still they have around 4 tables. If you are hungry want some Chinese food, you can drop by and try their lunch specials.

Quick delivery! Solid hot and sour soup, and by far the BEST general tso’s in the city!

Not sure what people are complaining about — it’s average Americanized Chinese food priced for the Flatiron district. I’ve come here many times(mostly because it’s literally across the street from my office) for the lunch special, and I’ve never been disappointed. To be fair, my standards are pretty low for this type of food. They also sub brown rice for free if you want, which is almost unheard of in this city. My favorites are the chicken and broccoli and spare ribs in black bean sauce! Also good is the Cantonese wonton noodle soup. These wontons are slightly more authentic with a better wrapper: filling ratio than the typical Americanized wonton(which is basically all wrapper). Don’t get the beef stew noodle soup, the beef pieces are almost inedible. Credit card minimum of $ 9, covered by a lunch special and a drink.

Best NYC style Chinese food. If you’re from NYC you know what this place is. Standard Chinese food NYC style. Same décor you’ll see in any borough. The bad reviews are from snooty people expecting eataly style food.

When I was in college, I used to walk over and eat here all the time for lunch or before I went home in the evening but times have changed… I stopped by here a couple of weeks ago for chicken and broccoli with brown rice and it was really dry with barely any sauce or flavor, it might as well have been just steamed. Today we ordered for dinner because we were too lazy and everything was horrible — beef ho fun was bland, little sauce, and meat tasted old; shrimp lo mein was dry and had little shrimp; shrimp and broccoli barely had any sauce, the shrimp were tiny, and the pork fried rice tasted old; we ordered chicken wings that were way overcooked(browner than a football); the only thing that was partially decent was the fried dumplings but even they were soggy and very small. I guess things from the past should stay in the past. Oh on top of it, they charge you an extra $ 2 as a delivery fee.

I really have to hand it to Lin’s. In Midtown, where I struggle to find a Chinese entrée with rice for less than $ 12.50 after the lunch special rush is over — Lin’s delivers(literally and figuratively) with a combo plate for around $ 8.50! Yes, it is your standard greasy Americanized Chinese food, but it’s good and solid… meaning it doesn’t taste or smell like cat food. The portions are HUGE, enough for two meals and the delivery was super fast. The delivery guy is always smiley and nice. Yummy, good value, and what you should expect from an old school Chinese take-out joint!

#It’s your average Chinese Take-Out, but at #Manhattan Chinese Take-Out prices. I guess it’s cool that this place exists where it does. If you don’t feel like eating meat, carbs, or dairy from Shake Shack, you can get #tofu with mixed vegetables and garlic sauce here.

Only reason we gave it 4 stars was there is no bathroom… now we rally think there is one. they just don’t want you to use it… but food was fantastic!

Honestly, the worst sesame chicken I have ever tasted. It was fried flour with no chicken inside. It had no absolutely no flavor. I have never written a review but was so disgusted. I called an complained and the person did try to make it right by offering to send me a different dish, but by this time I just did not want anything else from this place. The won ton soup was extremely salty. Waste of money

Fast and cheap chinese food spot. Food is good but the portions are annoying. A MOUNTAIN of broccoli and a little bit of meat. Their sanitation grade is a B… sooo yea, the decision is yours.

Their lunch specials at now $ 7.15+tax for a total of $ 7.75; a 12% increatse from my last review. The lunch special portions are about 15−20% less! There are other options in the neighborhood.

I’ve eaten here before when I used to spent more time in this neighborhood(ie when I lived within walking distance I should say) and their food never really blew me away. There are definitely SEVERAL better Chinese food places in the city. As mediocre as they are, I now work nearby and was craving Chinese food for lunch. Nothing complicated, just an pint-sized order of sweet and sour chicken with regular ol’ white rice. This will cost you $ 4 – 6 at most Chinese food take-out spots but here it’s like $ 10.50…plus tax that’s going to come out to about $ 11ish. FOR A SMALLORDEROFSWEETANDSOURCHICKENWITHPLAINRICE?! You’ve gotta be kidding me. This isn’t even a remotely welcoming seated establishment. Lunch specials are around $ 8+ and don’t include sweet and sour chicken. Years ago when I ate here once or twice, the prices were much lower. I assume that their rent must have been hiked in order to explain the insane markups that they’ve implemented, but for mediocre Chinese food it’s certainly not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone nor would I come back again unless I were desperate for steamed pork dumplings or a scallion pancake. Sadly, this place has no competition because there is no other Chinese food spot nearby. UGH.

For a quick and cheap Chinese restaurant, this is a place to go. I love their General Tso chicken and love the prices(lunch specials at $ 8 and less). For an outing with friends not the best place to go though.

Good, cheap Americanized Chinese food. Never had a bad dish here. But never had one I can rave about either. I like their egg rolls. In LA you can’t get pork egg rolls! And at least all the food is fresh. And great that they have combination meals. Wish they would freshen up their dining area. Rupert Murdoch just bought a penthouse a few building away. I wonder if he’ll ever order from here?!

This is good old-fashioned cheap Chinese takeout brought to the Midtown lunch crowd, and I love it. I’d bet we’ve all had great Chinese takeout & terrible Chinese takeout. I know I’ve had both. But to me, Lin’s is definitely among the best. The food is flavorful & they have a great selection of lunch specials, all of which are greatly priced for the portion size. My favorites are the General Tso and Shrimp with Mixed Vegetables in Garlic Sauce. They also have really good spring rolls & the fried foods have never been overly greasy. I also like that delivery during lunchtime doesn’t take an hour plus like so many other restaurants in this area.

Don’t know what some people here are complaining about, as this Chinese joint close to where I work is A-OK by me. It is what it is — just a down and dirty spot to pick up a decent hot meal. Standard Americanized Chinese place to grab a bite or order take out. Now into my second full week back on a healthier eating lifestyle this place offered a quick fix for lunch with good lunch specials. For $ 6.25 I ordered up a plate of steamed chicken and broccoli with brown rice. For that price the amount of food I received on the plate was quite large. Food came out quick and hot. Tasted fine. As there is a good amount of seating here I decided to eat in and relax a bit before going back to work. Not the type of place that will blow you away, but a decent enough spot to grab a cheap lunch with a lot of options healthy or otherwise.
