Pretty solid place for lunch. I come here for the specials which are usually falafel, veggie burger, or veggie mix. These come with a side of soup or fries. The wraps are freshly pressed(hence the name) and you can tell the difference between something that comes in a package and one of these wraps. The fillings are your basic salad ingredients. My favorite are their crispy onions. Their fries are pretty good, especially the seasoned ones. They’re fairly spicy sometimes, so if you don’t like spicy things, skip the seasoned fries. The times that I’ve come here, my fries come soggy more often than not, which is a shame. I also wish they’d offer more specials than the vegetarian stuff. The falafel is decent, but it tends to be a little too dry. Still, I’d keep coming here for a sub 10 dollar very filling lunch!

Fantastic! Fresh dough baked in front of you and truly fresh ingredients; great place to have a healthy meal in a hurry.

Great place for a wrap/burrito. The only hard part is figuring out what ingredients you want them to add in.

I went in, ordered my wrap, got it, and went to sit down only to find a COCKROACH on my chair. SODISGUSTING. Never coming back here again…

Went here for a quick lunch. Here’s the short of it: Horrible service and only OK food. This is my second time here. I honestly only went here because I saw on Unilocal that if I checked in I would receive 10% off. I was very disappointed when I could not redeem it at the check out because I ordered the special. I ordered the grilled veggie wrap(today’s special). When I asked what kind of veggies were in it, the main guy who presses the wrap yelled in a foreign language to the cook to ask, and the cook, looking very angry and disturbed yelled back, «GRILLEDVEGGIES.» Ok, I get it, maybe there was a language barrier but no need to be rude. I asked for hummus instead of the goat cheese spread and I still got charged extra at the counter. Speaking of that… The counter lady was busy texting right when I got there and then look startled when I appeared right in front of her. I got charged more than I wanted to for Bad service, only OK food. Pass by this place on your way to a real lunch place.

Came in for lunch. Not bad, but not GREAT. Wrap was fresh. The portion was huge, and the prices were pretty decent as well. It wasn’t anything spectacular and I would not go out of my way to try this place again. But I would eat it again. They do give you many options. I tried their chicken noodle soup, and It was pretty bland and not well made. Other than that, the wrap was pretty good. if you like wraps, doesn’t hurt to stop into this place

Another casual fast food place on 23rd. focused on wraps. There thing is pressing the wrap right in front of you. Very cool to watch… the salad bar is a great offering and they dont skimp on the ingredients. My rosemary wrap with grilled veggies is huge… highly recommend the olives to add saltyness. Only gripe is I was waiting a while to get my order started as no one was around to press the wrap. Also, dont wait too long to eat. when the wrap gets moist. it basically turns into a dumpling wrap.

I have been to various wrap sandwich places but this one is different. You pick the dough of your choices and they will make the fresh tortilla. After that it’s pretty standard, you choose your toppings/dressing and pay your bill :) I chose tomato and basil dough for my wrap, it was really good. You should also try their special fries with spicy seasoning.

YUMSTERS! What a great concept. Make your own creation and watch it come together at this awesome spot. Beware of arriving during the finance lunch rush, the line will be out the door. You can have a different experience each time because YOU are the inventor. Word of advice, pace yourself when consuming as the portions are massive.

Came for lunch wrap for second time in six months. I still feel they are subpar in quality of food, canned veggies, freshly baked wrap has not much in taste… Tried their soup this time as part of promotion — nothing there too. Overall just very ordinary place with nice décor and tasteless fresh wrap :(

What a great idea! Freshly pressed wrap dough lots of choices of flavors then it’s kinda like chipotle you go down the line and pick your ingredients(sort of Mediterranean stuff) then protein, grilled marinated white meat, or a whole steak, or falafel. Very fresh and seriously delish. New go to lunch place!

I love their chicken wrap. Chipotle sauce, guacamole, crunchy onion pieces: nom nom! Their prices are typical of NYC but damn it is delicious. They no longer deliver to my area so we do see less of each other but we are still great friends. I heart chix wrap.

Come here sometimes for lunch with my pals from work. Its a great concept. similiar to just salad in a wrap. I usually get the whole wheat tortilla with grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, olives, onions, cheddar cheese drizzled with a ranch dressing. The people are nice and quick. You’re in and out in a minutes. I need to venture off and try something new next time.

I didn’t think it could get any better. I was here about a month ago and had the burger and was very pleasantly surprised to have food prepared so quickly be so yummy and fresh and enjoyable. It was my first time. The food is made instantly right before you, and is extremely tasty. This time, I tried the Chef’s recommendation & it rocks! As a nonmedical nutritional consultant I am always seeking foods that are both nutritious & delicious, at a fair price. Press brings it all together. Who could ask for anything more? Great place for lunch with a cheerful atmosphere & responsive service. That’s all good, but I come for the food! On the wall it says«a hungry appetite.» I’m glad I had one today. My taste buds and belly are so satisfied.

Quick, efficient, awesome fresh and hot tortilla for the wraps, and great dressings. Don’t forget to check in for 10% off! Very pleased with my first experience here and will be coming back. I met my husband on his lunch break and we got there minutes before the lunch line formed. Everyone was very friendly and they press your tortilla right there and warm it up on the grill. I went for the Chefs choice chicken wrap with extra lettuce(all I saw was chicken and chipotle mayo and I was sold). It was awesome. Big wrap, I couldn’t even finish it, the chicken had great flavor and was tender and definitely loved the chipotle mayo. You can make your own combos so I’m excited to try other sauces. Great lunch spot!

It’s Maoz, with meat! Additional upside: you watch them make the tortilla in front of your eyes. Seriously, first it’s a dough ball, then next thing you know it’s a wrap. Boom!

Wait, you’re NOT a chain? Press gives every visitor the sense that they are some gigantic lunch chain, given its standard interior décor, the standard menus, and the fact their logo appears on everything. I was surprised to learn at check out that they are a single location restaurant with single owners. Good for them! The actual process is what I think sets them apart. Similar to a Chipotle where patrons pick their toppings from an assembly line, Press adds one huge(and cool-looking) variable: they make the tortillas fresh! You can select your type of dough, which they«press» right in front of you, and brown on the skillet. From there, it’s pretty standard how they assemble the wrap, and you leave with a tightly and nicely wrapped meal. The staff was so nice and it could’ve been because the lunch rush was over, but they were so helpful in making sure my first Press experience was a great one. My chef’s selection chicken wrap was quite tasty, and as weird as it sounds, tasted a bit healthier than it’s Mexican burrito counterpart. However, it was definitely not as filling as Chipotle, so if you’re looking for forced portion control, you found it. The fact that my office is directly above it means I will most likely find myself back here in the future. I wouldn’t go out of my way for a wrap, but I’m intrigued to learn if the different wraps play a huge role in determining the flavor.

Update: Don’t go here during lunch rush! My wrap had huge holes in it which made a total mess when trying to eat it, the ingredients were just thrown in in lumps instead of being distributed, and the dressing was weirdly runny today. I get that it’s busy, but the quality of the food shouldn’t suffer that much! Especially because after my wrap was made horribly, the line was at a standstill for a few minutes because it was backed up at the front. He definitely could’ve taken more time making it rather than rushing through 4 wraps at a time and then waiting a few minutes for the next 4.

I’ve been coming here for 2+ years and within the last year, quality has really gone down. Its come to the point where I’ve gone 2 – 3 times this year wanting it to be good again like it used to be, but I will no longer be coming back. The steak and chicken are both quite dry. The steak is so chewy its almost inedible. The chicken is hit or miss, lately its really been miss miss miss Service: 3⁄5 If you come during lunch rush, well its lunch rush, no smiles, whucha want? bam bam bam go! Its fast food! — don’t be afraid of the long line, it moves really quick Tip** double check the markings on the outside of your wrapper, Ive had extra marks for +$ items before that I never got/asked for in my wrap. Décor: 3⁄5 Its usually fairly clean, after you grab your wrap you can pick drinks from the fridge before making a u-turn to the cashier Food: 2⁄5 2 years ago this would have been a 3.5÷5 for me. I liked it because they have fairly healthy options and all the fixin’s are fresh and flavorful I would say if you come to press, get a vegetarian wrap as their meats are overcooked and dry. The pickled jalapeño, and tzatziki sauces are my favorites.

Decent wraps. Haven’t gotten anything else here so I couldn’t tell you if they excel at anything else, but the tortillas here are incredibly fresh. Soft as a baby’s blanket. I’ve only ordered delivery from here but I hear that you can see them make their tortillas from scratch if you patron the actual store. The reason I’m giving this place three stars is two fold: 1) The food is decent, especially the meatball wrap. Great flavor with fresh veggies. However, the steak can be tough as rubber to chew. 2) The delivery time is unacceptably long. Took over an hour to get our food. I will definitely order from here for lunch again. I hope they will fix these issues in the future. Otherwise, it’s a nice healthy alternative to chicken and rice or General Tso’s.
