Let me preface this review by saying that I’ve only gone to Level 9 for a private event. Haven’t really checked out a regular night here. The décor is nice, they have really nice private rooms, with different colored lights to elevate the space. The bathrooms were clean(that night) and were decorated nicely too. The DJ for our party was great too. But, this place is HARD to find. You have to up the elevator in this small building which is easy to miss if you don’t have the exact address. Although the manager was friendly, his staff are on the rude side. They carded all the guests, even though they were on a guest list to get into this private event. It was a hassle. The coat check sucked too, they lost my umbrella! The drinks were okay, but too pricey and the bartender was a little slow that night too. Overall, I had fun because I went for a friend and I loved the music and vibe of the place. I don’t think I will go back on a regular night though.

Please jump to the following sections if you are one of the following: A. Korean Male B. Korean Female C. None of the above — — — — — — — — — — — — — A. Yobosayo! Let me tell you about this brand new club with a much more lax door policy than Circle, but with more of a club(read: skanky) atmosphere than 3rd floor or Maru. Mixed drinks are $ 15 a pop, but the girls are ready and willing(and who can’t resist the plaintive bleat of «oppa!!»). You’ll also want to aggressively assert your male dominance, as getting through the packed lines to the bar is nearly impossible. Have fun, and drive safely back to Flushing/Astoria/Fort Lee! — — — — — — — — — — — — — B. Yobosayo! Let me tell you about this brand new club! It’s populated mainly by sweaty older men who couldn’t get into Circle, but will buy you $ 15 drinks. You may have to wait a while for those drinks, given the nearly inept bartenders and crazy lines, but the DJ isn’t half bad and the dance floor is popping. — — — — — — — — — — — — — C. Korean clubbing is fucking ridiculous. Let’s go back to MePa.
