One of the best almond matcha lattes i’ve had on Manhattan.

A small Café, but gets everything here, coffee, juice, yogurt, sandwich, croissant, muffin. There are tables and chairs you could sit and enjoy your coffee. It’s Latte ‘en rose’ is sooooooo good. It’s seasonal, so get it now! :)

I come here every single morning before going to work. The staff is really nice. I personally recommend the Iced Matcha Latte and the green iced tea. The donuts are delicious especially the Hibicus one. I love this place I totally recommend it!

I was very tempted after hearing about the lavender latte but was utterly unimpressed by it. The lavender was very subtle, so to me, it could have passed as any other regular latte. The guy making it was great with the latte art, but I had expected more lavender taste to it.

Came in here yesterday when it was totally empty and got myself a small hot lavender latte. the barista could not give less lumps that I was there lol but I don’t really care about customer service unless it’s really bad, so whatever to that. the latte itself was absolutely delicious but could definitely use a hint more of lavender.

So, I don’t really drink coffee but after hearing that they sell Lavender latte I just had to try it out. I have been to this location 2 times just to get their Lavender Latte. The first time I went, the cashier guy suggested that I should get the Lavender Latte(cold) & I did. That didn’t disappoint me at all! The Lavender was mixed really well with the coffee and that made the coffee not bitter. I would give this drink 4.5÷5 stars. I will try the hot version of this next time I go. They also sell Dough Doughnuts! I got the Cinnamon donut and it was the perfect combo with the Lavender Latte~. Service: Workers were friendly. That made me go back the second time. They also have another location in 4th ave but, I went to this location because it’s just one block away from the Union Square station which was convenient for me.

They accept the Dollop App, code PXWRXP Friendly staff on a non-busy weekday morning in a space with Dough donuts, large macarons, other pastries(croissants/etc. too) but no labels for anything. The satisfyingly chocolate-y Cookie Chocolate(chip pecan) was a nice way to spend $ 2.75.

So balling. This place got everything a growing boy desires: coffee, mirrors, bread products, and stools. I was a little apprehensive about spending my hard earned Best Buy check here, given that it’s name literally means«the coffee coffee» in about a bakers half dozen of languages(mostly the good ones,) but I digress– I stepped inside and instantlytaneously was transported to Java Town, Population: Satisfied. Would definitely come here again after working a couple weeks at Best Buy to save enough scratch to eat or drink.

It’s gonna be a dark roast, I like the taste. I had a cookie and it was good. Small cozy place for a quick grab and go.

A small shop conveniently located by 14th street that’s great as a rest stop amongst all the shopping or a welcoming place for dough donuts & yummy drinks. I ordered the lavender latte for $ 5(i’m afraid that this is the standard price for lavender lattes nowadays):) and a glazed donut. The cashier was superb and told me that I made excellent choices since the donuts and lattes were the most popular items here, and gave me a stamp card. You get one stamp for every drink you purchase, but he stamped 2 for seeing that I had bought a donut — d’aw. This is certainly 1 café I wouldn’t mind stopping by more often! & if you don’t want to be making the trip along the avenues to get dough donuts and don’t mind paying the price difference then here is a nice alternative.

Le Café Coffee NY Manhattan Union Square 2pm Sunday 31st January 2016 Three Stars I just stopped for a cup of joe. The shop was small but cozy. The coffee was a bit burnt and bitter but it did the trick.

I’m on a lavender latte kick and I’m slowly seeing the drink pop up in various Cafés across NYC. I walk in(And I do mean walk in, its very tiny) and see a full arsenal of Dough Donuts proudly on display. As a matter of fact, there is a good looking selection of baked goods at Le Café Coffee. I order my lavender latte and a very small biscotti. The lavender latte didn’t have enough lavender and the biscotti could have broken all of my teeth on this thing. The coffee itself tasted good if it were a plain latte. I wanted more lavender. Come to find out, this place is a chain? I walked around the corner and saw another Le Café Coffee? Maybe they make a better lavender latte. 3 stars from me today

Really cute coffee shop that I think recently just opened. I got the coffee special en rose or something like that with rose syrup/water added. It was super good and not overpowering and they had a cute design for the coffee!

Coffee house and restaurant hopping with a friend on a Saturday afternoon on a stifling hot summer’s afternoon into a cool air conditioned environment called for stillness. Quaint small coffee shop set to a French name but nothing resembles French with the exception of Marcon cookies. I was given the WRONG sales receipt for items that I did not ordered. One Marcoon cookie $ 3.75– not worth the hefty price as it was average quality and extremely overpriced One ice tea $ 2.50 One coffee $ 3.00– average No restroom facility and esteem stool ledge seating is very minimal. Service is robotic from stolid servers.

SPEECHLESS. I need to address that the owner of this place, absolutely amazing. Soon after i posted my review I was contacted and he tried to remedy my experience immediately. I decided to go back and see maybe i missed something. Im glad i did. Again, the staff was AMAZING. I truly enjoy speaking to them and they recommended the lavender latte. ITWASSOGOOD. I also tried some donut — it had like coffee cake crumbs and almonds or something, i don’t know, i don’t care… amazing! This seems like the spot i would get the same thing every time but i definitely fell in love with the staff because of how genuine they are. Next time I’m going to try a macaroon, they are my favorite.

SMALL café near union square with coffee, pastries, & food to boot they’ve got maybe 6 counter seats inside with 2 facing the sidewalk so you can people watch through the window —iced soy lavender latte: not enough lavender flavor, definitely better at bibble & sip FREE wifi so a great spot to get some work done except there’s no bathroom so you can’t stay too long! NOTE: soy OR almond milk options for the lactose intolerant PLUS they have balthazar croissants & dough doughnuts

I have been going on a flavored latte craze and found this great place through Unilocal. It is a cute little coffee shop made for those who want to get in and get out. They have minimal seating, and there is a little bench area if you wish to sit down. Here’s what I tried: 1. Lavender latte –this is the second one I have ever tried and definitely opposite from the first one. –If you like a more strong tasting espresso then this is the perfect one for you. From my first experience, I was expecting something more sweeter, but don’t get me wrong this one was not bad. It just really depends on what you are looking for in terms of your latte. –The espresso definitely takes over the taste and you only get a hint of lavender. I probably didn’t start tasting the lavender until about a third into my drink. –Because it is very strong, you will get wired, which is great. –In summary, if you like your lattes strong with a hint of flavor then this is the right place for you. If you can’t handle something strong then maybe not. I would definitely come back if I need a big kick to start me day.

Good stuff here, but nothing groundbreaking. I tried the lavender latte — a first for me — but was underwhelmed. The latte tasted good, but nothing like lavender. That is, until I got to the bottom, where there was a sickly sweet amount of lavender syrup or whatever. Pass. The almond croissant was from Dough, I think, and it was decent but doesn’t make my list of the city’s best(and I do have a list). Friendly service and great selection of Dough donuts(but with Dough up the block, there’s not really a reason to get them here). All in all, I probably wouldn’t return, because there are more interesting options in the area.

I was in the neighborhood and hadn’t eaten anything in 26hrs. I heard the lavender latte was a great seasonal treat but to make matters even better I also got the Dulce de Leche donut. Both were divine! They also have fresh sandwiches and other healthier drinks in addition to the coffee and pastries. The prices are a bit high but its a tourist area and everything is expensive in NYC. The gentleman that took my order was very attractive and had the most amazing French accent. They play punk rock music which I was a huge fan and the room temperature was normal — not a sauna or an igloo. It got a bit crowded on my way out around 1pm. The shop gives discounts to NYU students. Also its conveniently located on 14th Street between Union Square and PATH on 6th Ave. Would come back again to try other delectables..

I love this coffee shop. I usually get a latte with almond milk from here and it is always very foamy and the almond milk they use is a tad sweet which makes it super delicious. They have a lot of options for drinks, like tea, lavender latte, matcha latte, etc. I have tried the lavender latte but it is too sweet for me. They also have food such as salads and sandwiches that are decently priced. Le Café also carried doughnuts from Dough as well as croissants and macaroons. The staff is super friendly and will get your coffee in just a few minutes which comes in handy when you are rushed in the AM. I would definitely come here if you want good coffee :)
