ATTITUDE!!! The rudest store (Greenwich St location) in all of Manhattan and I hv lived here for 20+yrs working in luxury fashion. I add this because its not that I looked like I couldn’t afford to be shopping in the store and yet was treated like I was interrupting them when I walked in yesterday. The current salespeople in the store did not even offer help and barely looked up when I walked in. Even the tourist who made a purchase was spoken to in an unkind way. It goes against everything Jonathan Adler stands for. HAPPY, Modern American Glamour! I am looking to furnish 4rooms in my apt and wanted to see the finish of several furniture pieces but getting info was worse than pulling teeth! JA, please train your Greenwich St Staff. It is your smallest store in the city with the help (no real help at all) having the BIGGEST attitude. I will be going back to the SOHO store where the ENTIRE staff was FRIENDLY and HELPFUL. Also know that if you want to see ALL the styles that the stores may not carry, I’m told there is a showroom. by appt only.

i love jonathan adler, and after setting up house in nyc, decided this was going to be my design inspiration. i wanted everything in the store, but i had to buy gradually because its kind of pricey, i started with lamps… i bought 3, 2 for my bed side tables and one for my dining room. all $ 350.00 each, 1 of the lamps had a wobbly shade, (it had been fitted with the wrong switch) the 2^nd just doesn’t work and the 3^rd flickers, 3 out of 3 is a little weird, but things happen, anyway i called the store to ask them to change the lamps and were told that lamps are sold as seen and are not refundable or exchangeable!!! $ 1050.00 plus tax completely wasted, i have been able to get the rewiring fixed on one of the lamps at my own extra cost, but the other lamp still wobbles and the 3^rd has never worked, pretty disgusting customer service, i decided to go else were for the rest of my home décor and to quote pretty women, they a big mistake! huge! i have so far spent over $ 50k on my apt, that would of all gone to them

Relatively large store for a Jonathan adler. I’ve been to other locations where the staff was much more attentive. When I walked in they were speaking among themselves and didn’t acknowledge that I was there until I was within 2 inches of one person. Afterwards another woman inquired on how other shoppers and I were doing. The general attitude I got was that they based their service on how much money they perceived you had.
This is a major pet peeve of mine, so although I was going to make a purchase I put it down and left.

Beware! Beauty is a lure. The design style here can crack open the toughest of wallets but the hard work begins when you get the product. I bought a Caracas Table that arrived with 25 brown spots and two gouges in the pen shell finish. I took photos and even brought the top to the store yet not one person at the store would give me the slightest sympathy. «That is the nature of the product» so I went to other stores to see the same pen shell surfaces and found them flawless — only to hear back at J. Adler, «that’s the nature of their process — not ours’. To pay $ 1672.00 for a 26» coffee table is a lot of money. No one in the store is empowered to do anything for you except call «corporate» and corporate always says no.
I ended up being made to feel lucky to swap my table top for a floor model that had two defects. Had I bought it from ALL MODERN I would have had free shipping. Probably would have had better customer service as well. I went into the store every day for a week to get some satisfaction. Staff is polite but they are trained to look at crap construction and call it «handmade uniqueness» or something else equally wrong. Over the years I have spent $$$ here, I am thinking I won’t be doing so again.
Also, buy it on line and get your 10 percent off. You will have to fight for that after the fact.

This store is great — I want everything! Also, the team that works here is so friendly and helpful– and very knowledgable about the pieces they carry and about design in general. Had a great experience buying art and furniture here and the employees went out of their way to make sure I was happy!

Most magical interior design on this planet. Whimsical designs, vases, lamps, wallpaper, rugs, candles, I mean… A-​Z everything one would need to create a very unique and colorful home. Prices though? Wow… way way overpriced. Sometimes I just go into the store for inspiration purposes and end up finding similar things within a more affordable price range.

I love Jonathan Adler products and went in to the Brooklyn store looking for a gift for a friend. The staff (Linet and Naya) was incredibly warm and considerate, despite the item not being available in that location. The ladies helped me order the item and have it shipped to my home, and when I expressed concern over it not arriving in time, they offered to personally ensure that it was expedited. Today I received an email from Linet following up, as well as a UPS confirmation that the item will arrive today (3 days earlier than expected)! I am so impressed by this level of service, and I will definitely be recommending this store (and it’s employees) to friends!

I gotta admit that have some cute keepsakes in this shop. I still think it’s overpriced for what it’s worth though.

I just want to say how great the Jonathan Adler staff is in the West Village location. They were super friendly and helpful with my questions when I stopped in to buy a couple things. But they really proved their awesomeness when I left my iPhone on the counter. Didn’t realize it was there until I was over in Long Island City somewhat late on a Sunday afternoon. We called them and sure enough, they had it. My parents in Connecticut let me know «Jonathan Adler called. He said you left your iPhone in the store.» Loved it — the staff saw that I left my phone, and they saw that the last number called was to «Mom and Dad.» So they called that number to find out what they should do with the phone. I really appreciated the customer service! I look forward to heading back next time and picking up one of their Champagne candles — yum! Thanks guys.

I was always drawn to this place on my walk from SOHO to Chelsea. I have stopped in and seen Andy Cohen which was fun.
Otherwise the staff is what you would expect but the product is really cool! A Cannibus candle? Ornaments? Bitchy Books? Done.
Staff sometimes is more interested in merchandising the store than selling you the product. But they are always welcoming.
You will find your staple Jonathan Adler home décor mixed with a really fun mix of silly chachkies and other dust collecting treats.
Always worth a visit, but can’t promise a purchase.

So many cool things — like a mini Conrans that loves dogs.
Bought three incredibly cool looking pillows. One was in the store while my sales person, bless her heart, called around the country to find two more that matched what I saw online. They were shipped from Santa Monica at no charge for the shipping.
They went the extra mile for me and it is most appreciated. Did I mention that they also love dogs :)

dude, if you’re gonna charge $ 400 for a lamp, don’t have it mass produced in Peru. And if you do, try retailing it in Target and drop a zero. I’m bitter because that fucking lamp never went on sale… Yes, I AM biased.

Another one of those designer stores that I have no business being in. I do pretty well, but I see no sense in buying such expensive furniture I’ll be paying off forever.

This store really gets me excited. I wish I could just move in. *sigh* Instead I only dream of the beautiful home I’ll have someday.
The staff are always very nice and helpful. And the selection of furnishings are novel, whimsical, artistic. It’s all so sleek and modern, but without being cold. But OMG expensive!
But if you want to live in a home that’s looks different, that has your personal stamp, then this is a great place to come for the most divine lamps and vases, candles, mugs, tables, couches, etc. Mmm… maybe I can sneek in with my little tv and pajamas and just cuddle up there tonight.
