This place is the most dirtiest, poor service and over priced establishment I’ve ever been in. The lady at the counter is rude and unprofessional and the guys working the kitchen are a bunch of pigs. The place is ALWAYS infested of dirty homeless bums selling bootleg movies and it always stinks like shit. I hate this place. Home fries are runny and wet, bacon is ALWAYS burnt. I rather make my breakfast at home

One of my favorite hood spots… Jimbo’s. You have to appreciate a classic. Jimbo’s is one of those long time diner/burger spots that when you haven’t had it in a long while and are just having a regular day in the hood that you appreciate more and hope that it never goes away. If you have never had a Jimbo’s burger I suggest you get one… is it the best burger in the world? No. Is it the best restaurant in the world? No. Is there anything spectacular about this place? No… but that is where the appreciation comes in. You don’t always have to be the #1 place to get loyal customers. But good service at a neighborhood restaurant with good food is sometimes all it takes which is part of the reason why Jimbo’s in NYC has been around as long as they’ve had. Their burgers are not on the level of an In & Out or Smashburger but it’s GOOD! You need good, to appreciate great but you also have had to experience mediocre or bad to appreciate good and this place is good! I will always appreciate Jimbo’s because it caters to locals and has what you need right there and then as far as a burger, basic finger foods or your rush of a muffin, bagel or cup of tea or coffee in the morning when you’re headed out to school or work. Appreciate local spots like this because there are not many others like it around these days.

I love this Jimbos, rather then the one on 207 st. Even though its pretty small I enjoy my burgers right on the counter top where they serve it. Hands down best diner food in Inwood.

Saw Jimbos randomly last week. I ordered a cheeseburger special with a mix of onion rings and french fries, and a drink for $ 7.50. It was pretty damn good! I will be coming back soon! P. s. they hooked it up extra giant jalapeños!

It is basic diner food — burgers, shakes, fries, etc. The place is rather small and there is limited seating. The best thing to do is just order one of their specials if you live nearby. The food is tasty & cheap… not much else to say.

This place is pretty good, love the grilled onions on the burger. I’m new to the area and was dying for a burger the other night. I came across this place literally a couple blocks from my place. Burger, fries and a drink=$ 8…i’ll come back!

Basic burger place– I ordered the milkshake with the grilled chicken salad. The place is actually pretty small and when I went I saw only one person eating there. The milkshake wasn’t extremely anything to rave about but I liked that the salad came as a pretty big portion. I only heard about this place because my co-workers ordered delivery from them and decided I should check it out myself.

The hamburger special is the best deal in the neighborhood — $ 4.75 for a burger, fries, and drink. Seriously, you can’t beat it. I’ve never eaten in; the actual dining space is extremely small. It’s certainly not gourmet. Choices basically include burgers, cheesesteaks and other greasy sandwiches. Go when you’re too tired to cook or you need some help recovering from last night’s fun. If you need a quick pick up or delivery, this is the place.

This place is really cheap, which is one thing I really like about it. It’s definitely a cheap, greasy diner. So if you’re a vegetarian or even slightly concerned about cholesterol, stay away!(They technically have vegetarian options… but such options are limited, and not good.) I think you really get what you pay for at this place. Stay home and make it yourself– it’ll be a lot yummier, not dripping in quite so much grease, and slightly cheaper. The one positive thing I would say about Jimbo’s is that this place would be good for a greasy brunch on a Sunday morning.

Possibly the last greasy spoon left in Inwood after the Cloister’s closed down. They serve an awesome burger and a pretty damn good gyro. Prices are pretty cheap too.
