Hockstein Steven MD

My husband and I are elated to have found Dr. Steven Hockstein!
We stumbled upon Dr. Hockstein’s bio on the Cornell website and was immediately impressed with his background. I’ve had some trouble finding a doctor that had availability for an October delivery, but luckily enough, Dr. Hockstein had an opening and based on the first 10 minutes of meeting him, we knew he was meant to be our doctor!
Dr. Hockstein is everything a great doctor should be… knowledgeable, extremely friendly/​personable, attentive, and patient. He is always in a good mood and you can tell he is really passionate about his profession. When he was showing us our little bundle of joy on the screen, he was so thorough in explaining everything we were looking at and you could tell by his enthusiasm that he was in the moment with us! =)
The office itself is immaculately clean and the waiting room is nice and spacious with ample seating. The front office staff are always helpful and such a pleasure to deal with. The appointments are for the most part, timely — with a few occassions where I’ve waited over 40 minutes, but no biggie.
Although Dr. Hockstein didn’t end up delivering my son, his partner, Dr. Dobrenis was equally as pleasant to deal with and has quite a stellar reputation at Cornell. You can’t go wrong with this practice and I would highly recommend Dr. Hockstein to anyone and everyone!
