Best cheap chinese around, with the possible exception of Kum Kao. Great general tso’s tofu.

My first time actually eating food from here. I was impressed with the menu which gave me several food options. The business is clean and neat. I decided to try the bourbon chicken with plain fried rice and I was very pleased with my order. The chicken was seasoned just right and tasted amazing. I also ordered a lemonade which came with a slice of lemon inside. I couldn’t eat of my food that evening so I placed the rest inside of the refrigerator for lunch the following day. Lunchtime came around so I heated the rest of food for my lunch and the food tasted just as good as it did the previous day. The restaurant’s décor wasn’t anything spectacular, just plain and simple. I like to look around the restaurant if possible to check out the cleanliness of the business overall. It seemed to be very clean to me… in my opinion. I will definitely be back to patronize Hardee’s again for great food and good service.

I have been going to Hardee’s for years, literally, since I was about 13 years old. Hardee’s has the best chinese food in Brooklyn, PERIOD. John who has been working there for years knows my friends and I by name. The variety is like none other. Try the steamed jumbo shrimp or fried, the crab sticks, a cheeseburger, chicken wings!(spicy, buffalo or fried)! TRUSTME when I say you won’t be disappointed! The only downside is that they don’t deliver, but for me, it is well worth the drive!

This place is great,. Negative: the only downfall to this place is that they do not deliver. As well as what you would expect with a very popular restaurant. They are very crowded semi often… Positive: they have a combination of traditional Chinese takeout, and buffet stout heating. Which is great and unconventional to what is usually in the neighborhood.. If you do come here, you must try the shrimp. Their shrimp is amazing.

quite simply the best take-out Chinese spot in Fort Greene. first off, their fried chicken beats any other in the area. i’ve had Kum Kau, Chung Chun, Good Joy, Yummy Yummy and Hardee’s is the best. you can get the traditional wings and fried rice, but you can also get grilled salmon with brown rice and steamed broccoli. oh, they make delicious steamed jumbo shrimp, real snow crab legs, and mussels. they also make beef or turkey burgers, beef or chicken cheesesteaks. they’re quite flexible with what they’ll make off of the menu, and John, the owner, is great.

We stayed near here on Christmas day and realized every store like target or pathmark was closed b/c it was Christmas. But Hardee was open and we ordered everything on the menu and everything was great. So Hardee saved Christmas!

After looking at the«buffet» I was truly frightened by the thought of eating here, and to be honest some of the food is downright nasty. Hey but if you order general Tso’s chicken nuggets you deserve what you get. But then again some things are really surprisingly good. What impressed me is that you don’t have to get your food fried. They will grill or steam anything(and I do mean anything) and serve it with anything, broccoli, salad(salad in a Chinese takeout?, wow) lo-mein & serve brown rice at same price plus give you a choice of white, brown, black bean, garlic or curry sauce on the side… not bad. Steamed fish, broccoli, brown rice w/curry sauce on the side 6.75? Not bad at all.

This was my first time ordering from this restarunt. Upon entering I was not impressed and almost left because, it seemed to be another hole in the wall. Thankfully I ignored that impulse and ordered some food. Looking around you will see various drinks and many food items. They have a mini buffet which allows you to choose, 2 meats and a starch for $ 5 or a kids meal for $ 3. They have homemade tea and lemon-aid. The choices at the buffet are fried rice, lo-mien, chicken and broccoli, and BBQ rib tips to name a few. I would eat from the buffet because you can not touch the food. I dislike places where people are able to breath, and talk over open buffets. They also have seafood including crab legs, shrimps, and scallops. They have american dishes including french fries and sandwiches. Since I was craving Chinese I decided on a beef fried rice and a chicken egg roll. This was interesting because I don’t eat pork, and shrimp egg rolls don’t taste very good in my opinion. The staff were friendly, and the place appears clean, without any strange odors. I found the chicken egg roll to be really good, it was crispy and the chicken was tasty. The beef fried rice had plenty of beef the rice was fresh and seasoned. I will definitely go back and try different items.

The neighborhood is a mix between the hood and the hipsters but the food is awesome! love love love the $ 3 buffet which lets you choose two items and the $ 6 buffet lets you choose three items! Try the chicken teriyaki!
