Came here for a company lunch before heading to a team-building activity. Nothing really jumped out at me as being spectacular. Everything was fine. The service? Fine. The food? Fine. The pricing? Fine. We pretty much all got personal pizzas. No one had any complaints. If I am in the area again, I would probably come back. I’d want to check Unilocal first, as they allegedly know just the place.

IFYOUVISITINGLOWEREASTSIDEOFMANHATTANYOUNEEDTOVISITTHISPLACE. I have been coming to LES on regular basis since 2014 and this is one of my must-go places for pizza. By now I have tried every pizza on the menu and have not been disappointed. If you like me and can’t decide what pizza to order ask the waiter to do half and half. This way you can try two different pizzas each time you eat there. They sale pizza by pie and not by slice. You get a nice size pizza and if you plan it right and come hungry(like me) you can finish your pizza and still have some room for desert. For desert I either get the cheesecake or tiramisu. The presentation is great and the portions are big enough to share. If you are not a big fan of pizza don’t skip these guys. They also make fantastic pasta dishes. This place has good selection of wine and beers. The staff is very nice, responsive and welcoming which is not the case for other pizzerias in the area. ** Check the board above the kitchen for daily specials **

great pizza + ambience + service [lynn attentive immediately as we walked in the door up to our departure, fast & courteous] spaghetti + meatballs also great only 3 things to work on *they didn’t have jalapeños but overall a great place * salad could be tastier [i had to request cheese as it wasn’t included but to me it made the whole difference] * ny cheesecake could be fresher but again… service + clean + positive ambience make it a great time out

Lapin and I came here the other night for dinner. We got the Buffalo Chicken pizza($ 14), meatballs($ 5 for 3), cheese calzone($ 10) and a couple of sodas($ 3 each). Our waiter, Mike was the only waiter but he was very nice and attentive. The pizza was good, but didn’t have bruschetta like the one in Staten Island. This pizza is also smaller, think along the lines of a medium size Domino’s pizza. Two people can share one pizza but it would leave each person satiated but still peckish. The cheese calzone(mozz and ricotta) was very generous portion and it tasted on par with other pizza places. The meatballs were just okay. They were decently sized but Lapin said they tasted like meatballs you can get at Costco. All in all, we had a great server and the food was good. On a side note, look at the black chalkboard when you sit down because they have specials Sunday — Thursday. On Sundays, you get free cannolis, Wednesdays its free draft beer with a pizza purchase and on Thursday its half price house wine bottles.

Poor delivery experience, average pizza: I am from out of town so I got excited to order good NYC pizza. The ordering process was simple and I was told a 30 min wait. 40 min passed and I got a call from the driver and could barely understand him. I came downstairs(was staying in a hotel), and he gave me a bag of food. I thought it looked light but I had just ordered a small pizza and garlic bread so I figured maybe that was why. I got up to my room and opened the bag to find just the garlic bread. :-(I tried calling the cell of the driver back twice with no luck. Called the place back and told them what happened and they said they’d try calling him. Meanwhile, ate some of the garlic bread which was disappointing to say the least. Mildly warm and way too much bread. After another 10 min and not hearing anything, I called again. They weren’t able to reach him but would keep trying and it should be coming soon. Waited another 10 and he finally called and I went down to get it(which, is not easy with being pregnant and having to inconveniently put shoes on and wait for an elevator each time). Get the pizza up to my room and bam… it’s COLD. I was too hungry at this point to ask for a new one and I didn’t have a microwave in my room so I just called back and asked for my money back. Safe to say I won’t be ordering from here again when I’m in town. What a disappointment. My unborn baby wasn’t happy either.

We ordered delivery and it was excellent. We had the calamari pesto pizza and the garlic bread with mozzarella. Even after a 50 minute wait, the food was still hot and super delicious!

Great pizza and people. Absolutely love the atmosphere! The people were the best part of the entire experience.

I got the meatball sub and the homemade chips, my boyfriend got a pepperoni pizza. The pizza was New York style with a golden brown crust. He ate ¾ and took the rest home. He enjoyed it. My sub was delicious, with fresh, well sized meatballs and a tasty marinara. Although the chips were made there – and lord knows I was drooling for them – they were only okay. The chips are supposed to have rosemary on them, but you couldn’t really tell. Next time I’ll get the waffle fries instead. The place was clean and the waiter was young, friendly and attentive. It’s worth going back, just don’t get too excited about the chips.

I love goodfellas pizza. So much more the pizza. Great food and pricing. Many options always a special and the staff is the friendliest ever. Such a great restaurant. Highly recommended.

Some of the best pizza I have eaten stateside! I chanced upon this place on an earlier trip and loved it. Thin crust with just the right balance of flavors in tomato, herbs, meat and base that took me right back to my first pizza in Rome. We had the Small Smoking Goodfella pizza that I shared with my husband on a cold frigid NY night. The pizza was worth the trek out in the cold. Highly recommend to lovers of authentic thin crust pizza.

I got my delivery super fast but the bisque was super disappointing. Really watery, not that much lobster, not that much flavor. I felt like I got soup from a fast food/Panera type place in the sense that it wasn’t the worst thing in the world but I expected more. The quick delivery was impressive though and hot soup on a cold day(even if it’s bland) is satisfying.

We had a good experience at Goodfellas. The living social deal was perfect for an appetizer and pizza. Service was great and food was good.

I ordered some pasta around 7:45 on seamless. The estimated time of delivery was 8:30. Around 8:50, I still had not received my food, so I called the restaurant to find out the status. The woman who answered the phone told me that if I ordered it off of seamless my order would either have been delayed or not gotten through because the server was down, so they probably didn’t get even get the order. She offered to put the order in again through the restaurant and they would TRY to expedite it, but it would still take 30 minutes. So now I expected my food to come around 9:30.and I ended up not getting it until 10:45…in between I called a few times and they kept telling me it was out and on its way and it’s raining so we have high volume. By the time I finally got my food, I was famished, so the food was good. The people on the phone were incredibly rude, they did not offer any coupons, refunds, or anything of the sort. I don’t expect to ever order from here again!

The Goodfellas slice without sausage was pretty tasty. Not too much seasoning. Thin crust, so that you don’t feel guilty about eating a whole pie. ;-). Fresh! They do not serve slices, which is good for keeping the riff raff out. I also had their lobster bisque. Nice serving size, but not creamy enough. Too watery. The place is easily located on the corner. F train to Delaney is the best way to get there. Parking is not so good, unless you park in the municipal lot. I would come back and try something else.

I bought a living social deal for this place. It was $ 15 for $ 30 worth of food. I thought that it was a great deal. I came here on a weekday where the restaurant has a few customers but there seemed to be a lot of phone orders. There was one guy working and he was constantly busy. I ordered the bruschetta which was freshly made and it was devoured within a few bites. The pizza came after which was Sally pie. It had mozzarella, sauce, chicken, potato chips, onions and mushrooms. I thought the potato chips would be a bit strange on my pizza. But it gave the pizza a texture that made it taste different. The pizza was smaller than I had expected for the price. It was good for 2 people if you order an appetizer. For the prices of the pizza and the size, its probably better just to come here if you have a living social/groupon deal.

Inexpensive Italian food! I ordered here 3 times for their lunch special, each pasta comes with a Caesar or house salad and some bread. The pasta and salad comes in a huge portion. I could barely finish it. I have tried their Goodfellas chicken and cream, Rigatoni alla Vodka Lunch, and Angel hair with Chicken and Peppers. All the pasta were good.

Me and the old lady tried this place out; got two things from here: pasta with marinara and meatballs, and some other pasta dish with chicken. The pasta with marinara was bad, like just not good enough. The chicken dish was good, but not super duper good, but still pleasing

Monument to mediocrity and an unlikely home to a(probably misplaced) brick oven. Pizzas(or pies as they call the New York staple here) are made to order out of puffy dough, that you will probably discover in their refrigerator alongside a striking variety of ingredients of questionable quality(‘prosciutto’, dare the call these annum-old bacon crumbs, made me want to send it back to the kitchen). And no slices guys. We’re the real deal here… (Stars mostly for great service, unexpected at this kind of restaurant. Good intentions.)

**OPENTABLEDOESNOTWORKHERE — EVENTHOUGHITALLOWSRESERVATIONS** So I booked a party of 10 for here via opentable, and was surprised to find out they never got it. Apparently they’re having issues getting contacted by opentable for this. On the plus side, they had space for us regardless, and was able to accommodate everyone immediately. Sampled several things on their menu including the garlic bread w/mozzarella, Sally Pie, The Goodfella, and a couple of Peronis. Everything was delicious and fresh. Thanks to all the business, the extremely friendly server gave us a Dessert Pie on the house. Also delicious. Really enjoyed myself here; will come back again for a smaller party(and call for a reservation).
