If u r desperate and in the area the food is fresh and somewhat edible. However the people who take the orders there are very rude. The only time I go in there these days is if I am too lazy too make my own steamed rice

We popped in here on a whim to give it a try for«greasy spoon Chinese» food. A few seats to sit at, but the business appears to be mostly the take-out kind of place. Two dishes: Yang Chao Rice(mixed meat & fried rice) and the Garlic Pork are what we ordered. The Garlic Pork wasn’t too spicy and the pork wasn’t so much shredded as chunky — not nearly garlicky enough, but it satisfied an itch. The Yang Chao fried rice wasn’t bad, but it was a bit dry but similarly, was close enough to what we wanted. Both dishes not so much the normal greasy spoon Chinese that you look for, but still, not a bad start.

I usually order delivery via Seamless from the restaurant. Their steamed chicken is a go to. It’s one of the few chinese restaurants that lets you order proper fried rice with your entrée without having to basically order a 2nd entrée of fried rice which I like. The delivery is usually pretty fast but they sometimes forget my chili sauce which is annoying but they will send it if I call back. The chicken can be undercooked sometimes so you have to be careful on certain pieces. Okay wow, I’m really not selling this place. I do like it though and order frequently from it!

I’m going to go ahead and give Go Noodle 4 stars under the category of «Greasy Chinese Takeout in Midtown East» b/c everyone in the city needs their go to spot close to home. *This will also be a review comparing Go Noodle to Lin’s Gourmet as they are one avenue apart. Rating the 4 because I do feel this place should be higher rated than Lin’s! Based on Chow Ho Fun, which is my favorite Cantonese fried noodle dish, this place is way better than Lin’s Gourmet(which I have tried a few times). PLUS, Beef and Shrimp Chow fun same price! and included ~20 medium sized shrimps as per photo. PLUS, Go Noodle is open until 11:00pm vs. Lin’s Gourmet 10:00pm. PLUS, Per Seamless: Go Noodle has Avg 5 stars based on 265 Ratings, 86 reviews VS Lin’s Gourmet Avg 3 stars based on 26 ratings, 16 reviews. I guess the negative is that Lin’s Gourmet can be up to a few dollars cheaper but it’s already cheap less than $ 10, I rather pay for better tasting food. After trying Go Noodle though, I will NOT be returning to Lin’s Gourmet.

I don’t see why this place has such a low rating. They have great soups! Obviously their standard Chinese food is going to taste like standard Chinese food. But their soups are something you can’t really find at Chinese food places. and it’s good! Probably not worth 4 stars, but it’s worth more than 3!

I’ve ordered lunch weekly from Go Noodle for the past few years. Great value and they offer the lunch specials until 4 pm. Three plus stars for value and convenience. Personally, I order steamed chicken, brown rice and soup. I’ve ordered a number of other items over the past 15 years, but settled into the steamed meal some time ago. The delivery is incredibly fast — often within 10 – 15 minutes if not ordering during peak lunch time.(They get very busy during peak times.) Over the years on the couple of times they’ve made a mistake on my order, they quickly rectify it and hurry over whatever was missing.

The absolute worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Bland, no taste, disgusting. Please stay away or may god have mercy on your soul.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant for lunch! I haven’t ordered anything that I didn’t like. From Sweet and Sour Pork, Shrimp and Lobster sauce to Beef Chow Fun! Great food and very reasonable prices! Quick and curteous delivery! I’ve even gotten a lot of my co-workers to order from here! To those who have trouble communicating with them, try ! Keep up the great job! Thanks!

Used to eat from this takeout spot all the time. But that was a while ago(decided to be healthier). One thing I remember loving was the chicken dumplings(fried oh yeah) these bitches were plump too. You got 8 baby apple sized dumplings. That was the past, today is different. It may have been over a year maybe even two since I’ve eaten these dumplings. I decided after the gym to have a fuck it day(just for the dumplings). Today these dumplings were more like dumplames. Yeah maybe ¼−½ the size I remember. The biggest thing is they were $ 8. For that much I could have bought some healthy food from Wholefoods, which was the original plan. 1. Fuckit can fuck you over. 2. Don’t bother with the dumplings they ain’t worth it. 3. Stick with a healthy plan, its healthier.

Run as far as you can from this place. I’ve been a victim of their terrible service for multiple times. I don’t know why I kept ordering from them it just gets worse and worse each time. Wrong deliveries and extremely bad attitude plus zero patience. Will never order from them again.

If I could go for a 0 rating I would. Good luck if they don’t hang up on you twice when you try to order. Furthermore, they have no concept of actually listening to what you want and delivering it. I’ve had Chinese around the world and have never experienced anything so bad

For a run-of-the-mill, take-out Chinese food place, this is actually pretty good. They’ve got a decent and clean interior with about half a dozen seats, and the food is a slightly better version of what you’d expect. Sesame, Orange, and General Tso Chicken are all present and good.

I ordered from here on and had multiple problems. 1. The food took longer then the ETA I was given, which is understandable and that is not the main reason for so few stars. 2. When my food came the veggies in the dish were undercooked, and the food was cold – which meant the fried shrimp [which as a side note, the General Tso’s Shrimp description did not say fried so that was an unhappy surprise.] was cold 3. My apartment number did not make it on the delivery thing. When the guy called I told him I was apartment 5E and apologized. When he got to my door he started SCREAMING at me, like legit yelling at me for a few minutes and banging on the 5E on my door. I have no clue what he was saying but stood in my doorway utterly mortified and praying that my neighbors were not home to hear this. GoNoodle is for sure on my list of places I will never order from again!

I don’t normally review take out places, but this place deserves a review. the 4 strs is based on take out restaurants only. I have been ordering from this place for almost 3 years now and have to say it is very good and consistent for a Chinese takeout. Plus, they will make any dish with less or no oil if requested.

If this is 1 star Chinese food, then I don’t know how low on the scale Chinese food in my city would rank. I actually liked it a lot. The homestyle tofu was tasty, and tofu had just the right consistency. The eggplant with garlic sauce was just how I like my aubergines. The sesame noodles were delightful. And the brown rice was a great touch, and was perfectly moist. The canned pineapple and lychee is a nice way to end a meal. I’d order from Go Noodle again!

This is MYFAVORITE noodle place in New York. I mean, it’s not fancy or anything but its my idea of the best low-key noodle place around. I found it while we were ordering out one day for lunch at work(was consulting in the area at the time) and have been back several times since. It’s kind of hard to get to if you live on the west side but if you’re anywhere near 3rd avenue in the 50s, its a breeze to get to. I haven’t gotten anything on the menu except for the udon noodles with chicken and spinach. Yes, it’s nothing special as it is just noodles, broth, chicken, and spinach — but that’s what I love about it. Sometimes your taste buds just need to chill and you just need a warm soup. I love picking up my food so I don’t have to pay delivery tip but I once got it delivered(late night work meal) and the guy showed up literally 5 minutes after I ordered. Awesomely fast! Plus, when you order delivery they give you free pineapple chunks too. I have also eaten in and while it is not the biggest nor best looking place in Manhattan, it is still quiet and nice and yummy. It’s always nice to eat out a bowl instead of a plastic soup cylinder. :)
