Passed by after the gym and decided to try it. I ordered the cheese burger deluxe, however what I got was just a cheese burger and plate of overloaded plate of French fries. When I ask for some mayo the lady gave me attitude, acted a bit Fresh and said, «$ 0.50 for each container and besides there already is mayo on the burger.» I asked for napkins and mustered and she gives me literally 3 paper thin napkins and mustered packs, not enough but when I approached her again, she got a bit Fresh with me when I asked kindly for more napkins. Overall the burger was decent and the price was reasonable. I will come back because the price is right and the cheese Berger was good.

This is my go to Chinese place on the UES, everything I have ordered has been really good and the prices are unbeatable. Egg rolls, crab rangoons, pepper steak, chicken and broccoli, soup, and boneless spareribs are all great choices

Great take out with standard Chinese food and most importantly Hawaiian comfort food. You can get pretty decent spamushubis, macaroni salad and Katsu from here. Price is unbearable and portion is generous, even for the single(or the smaller portion) rice scoop.

While my friend was ordering i spotted a HUGEDEADROACH on its back right next to my foot. We looked at the grade on the window, it said pending… about half hour later we were passing by the store and magically the grade became an A! GOFIGURE!!! Be weary when eating here!

This place is like any another Chinese restaurant except the food taste much better here. Its not as greasy and there is decent amount of vegetables in their dishes. Their portion sizes are good. I get their lunch special often and its always consistent. At $ 5.80 its hard to go wrong. Fresh Wok is my go to Chinese place in the city.

Some of the best french fries in the city; not soggy very crispy. With all honesty im very picky about my Chinese food spots and I came home and felt very sure I would review them. They’re much better than the place across the street. Tried their Hawaiian selection and it was delicious plus it was fresh, try the Hawaiian bbq chicken. Definitely going back to try other foods from there. Staff was helpful as well.

Its ok? I like the chicken with broccoli and they dont charge you for brown rice with the lunch special/combo plates. However I ordered pork dumplings and ive never seen pinkish pork… idk I feel its more mystery meat or those Hawaiian spices? Idk man. I do like the fact that they’re «doughy». But overall its aight. DON’T GETTHEWONTONSOUP! DON’T DOIT!

Considering me and my boyfriend both got food poisoning at this place Wednesday(2⁄5) and Thursday(2⁄6), I wouldn’t want to give this establishment any kind of stars. Basically, don’t eat here. Ever. My first and damn well last time.

Average Chinese food from a «hole-in-the-wall» place on the UES. I’ve tried a few«hole-in-the-wall» places in the area and it’ always the same — average, cheap, large portions. I would be just as inclined to walk in here than I would Guang Ming across the street. These types of places all deserve 2 stars because its typical, nothing desirable about it, low-grade Chinese food. If you want cheap, quick Chinese food for lunch it’s ok. If you want solid, great Chinese food for dinner than go eat at Wa Jeal. Trust me.

Whenever I feel like I’ve had too much to drink, Fresh Wok is always there to make it all better with its mystery meats and noodles. Granted, the boneless spare ribs, crab rangoons, crispy fried chicken and rice might not be the healthiest options at midnight, but it makes everything better instantly, until the next morning… Their lunch specials are the best bang for your buck in the area. For $ 5.65 you get a mound of food, which can easily be split up into three portions, and an egg roll, soup, OR soda. You can’t beat that. I moved to the neighborhood last year and have been a regular ever since. My go to dish at the moment are the boneless spare ribs, sweet and tangy. The chow fun is great, too. It’s like you’re eating layered dumplings. Heroe to the fried chicken, after you devour all the meat, gotta suck and gnaw on the bone to get all the flavor. Now to the crab rangoons, this little ‘empanadas’ are stuffed with cream cheese and some crab product shipped from science knows where, but they’re so yummy. They come with a sweet and sour sauce that I drizzle on everything. I usually order for pick up since it’s so close to my place, but have ordered delivery on a couple of occasions, and boy they are fast and efficient. Every time I have guests over with the munchies, I always suggest this place and they leave my apartment with a huge grin and serious case of the itis. This place simply woks my socks.

I think my new years resolution is going in a totally different direction from normal people. We are not even through January yet and I have eaten the most greasiest meals in these fast few days and I keep promising myself that its gonna be the last and I will go on an all juice diet. from the next day… Last night was one of those days again. I walk into Fresh Wok. I couldn’t help peeking into their kitchen and it looked quite clean. The phone was constantly ringing for take out and delivery orders .Its weird I always thought this place was not so busy. I got their vegetable Lo Mein with was $ 6 and change. Not bad I say. Not as greasy as some of the other chinese places I have been to lately. And also he had thrown in tons of vegetables and for once u get actually see chunks of the scrambled egg. The portion size was small that what I am used to… but hey it was great quality. I need to come back and try out couple other things before I give it a 4 star. And they have A Rating now… see I told you their kitchen looked clean

B rating on window. Floor is worn and cracked tiles. Dingy pictures of the food above the register area. The few tables and chairs they have look like they should be thrown in a dumpster. This place is the epitome of a hole in the wall locals Chinese food joint. Almost looks dirty to me but was actually clean as they were mopping and taking care of the place as I walked in. I normally don’t eat here much but last night was looking aound to try something different. I saw Fresh Wok and thought I’d give it a try. They have a wildly diverse menu. The standard Americanized Chinese offerings, lunch specials, etc. Burgers and fries? Yup. Hawaiian BBQ? Yup! Lots of Hawaiian plates such as BBQ chicken, beef, porkchop, and shrimp katsu. Combo platters. Sandwiches and salads too. I ended up with a «Health Plate» of BBQ Chicken that came with steamed broccoli, snow peas, string beans, a scoop of macaroni salad, and three scoops of rice. You get a ton of food here for $ 6.99! Cheap. Tasted ok and intrigued me to come back and try out something else. Plus, they have Spam Musubi here!

Definitely not a dine-in place. My husband was disappointed with most of their sea food fare. But I give them three stars for their tasty ‘Bean Curd Szechuan’, their prompt delivery service and their prices. Given a choice though, I would probably go to one of the other Asian places in the UES.

When I need that cheap, filling, sodium-filled chinese take out fix and I’m visiting friends on the UES, I’m a fan of Fresh Wok. Have had their garlic sauce and brown sauce. Both are your traditional americanized take out fare. Not oily, not msg-y, and a great deal. Wooohoooo!

This place is around the corner from where my mom is so my mom was like, on your way here pick up some egg drop soup, a brown rice, and a white rice. So I go in there and this place is clean and smells awesome. They are rather cheap and fast in terms of their service. Best brown rice ever! I would go back here.

Not too shabby… I was staying on the UES for a couple of days. I don’t normally hangout in these parts of the city, but it was a good adventure. If you are craving Chinese Food a good price. This is the place. Not only is it cheap, but pretty tasty as well. They don’t just have your typical General Tso’s, Sweet & Sour and Pu Pu Platters. They actually have Hawaiian BBQ as well. This is something I need to try when I go back to the area. MUSUBI anyone?! They have it there too!!!

Hawaiian BBQ! Typical plate lunches. Can get BBQ combo of marinated beef chicken and shrimp(with 3 scoops of rice, macaroni salad and either green steam vegs or a soda) for $ 7.99. Big portion. They have other Hawaiian stuff, not just the BBQ but I haven’t tried. The BBQ beef had a nice marinade so did the chicken, but the chicken was sliced really thin. Honestly, not sure if it was breast or not, but it was good and if it was dark meat it didn’t have that under taste of dark meat. The shrimp, which I usually don’t trust in cheap spots, wasn’t questionable at all. So if you like Hawaiian BBQ, check it out. Came in to pick up the order around lunch time and they were crazy packed with people inside as well as delivery guy running in and out. So I will try their Chinese menu.

We have ordered-in numerous times. I think it’s the best one around me, there is another that I don’t like. I have dined in this Chinese spot once before and it’s pretty small in there. Their steamed dumplings are always good. Their chicken nuggets are sometimes yummy, but too greasy. Chicken with broccoli always yummy. Sometimes I get their steamed chicken with broccoli — few times they over steam it. They have $ 4.95 lunch specials which is a great price, it includes soda. This is a typical chinese food take out spot.
