Et quelle belle surprise.
Le fast-​food en question est une chaîné, il existe donc des 5 guys partout. Côté déco, pas dingue du tout, une chaîné de fast-​food aux couleurs rouges et blanches, pas très propre…
La grande spécificité de ce fast-​food est de pouvoir choisir les toppings de son burger et ça, c’est vraiment chouette !
On va chercher nos plateaux et là on découvre un burger molasse emballé dans de l’aluminium. Ah ouais ?
Et bien, une fois de plus, stop aux clichés, feu d’artifice dans tes papilles, juste délicieux !!!
Côté frites, une ration pour 2 suffit largement et elles sont maison.
Foncez ! (mais prévoyez une méga-​balade après hein ;)
(mais bon, entre nous, les français sont meilleurs côté burgers ;))

I couldn’t find the peanuts at the counter. The guy who was handing us the food was rude. The table I was at had dirty seats on two of the four seats. I got a little burger (basically only one patty) and a few of the free toppings. The burger was alright. It was a bit like a glorified whopper. The bread was already a bit soggy by the time I began to eat it. The star of the meal were the fries. Get Cajun because they give you huge portions and they are crispy on the outside while being fluffy in the middle. They were also really well seasoned and really hot. I managed to burn the roof of mouth b/​c I was so impatient. My meal (a little burger and little cajun fries) came to about $ 9.45 after tax. If you wanted to have the best quai-​fastfood burger and fries meal, I would get the fries at Five Guys and go to Shake Shack and get a double cheeseburger.

Just FYI this place does NOT close at 2am as it says, but closes at 1:30am… So if you are at The Garrett, get fries and then get drinks!

So the good things :
It is good, mostly fast as well
When the girls sending by the cashier I guess they can do things faster and with better attitude.
The bad things: unfortunately I saw it few times on the rush hours the place looks like after war.
The place got a bit $$$

Always great burgers. All the toppings are included. Fries are double portions. A friend mistakenly order 2 orders thinking for 2 people it would be good, could have fed 5 people. Very good food cooked to order.

I am a fan once in a while. The burgers are fresh and juicy. I like mine all the way plus hot sauce. Fries are nice too. The kids working there look a bit tired especially on a Friday night — but do serve you fine. No complaints there.

So being that I dont eat beef– places like five guys give you few options. Yet I find myself walking in from time to time to pick up those flavorful cajun fries. They are a mix of everything perfect in fries, crispy, soft, indulgent, and like a true american fastfood– the portions are ginormous.
When they care so much about their shakes or fries, I can imagine that their burger couldnt be too far from good.

I’ve been going to Five Guys all over the NY state area, especially the one in Fishkill. The one in Fishkill is cheaper than the ones in NYC, but I guess they have to make money somehow. This was the first Five Guys I’ve eaten at in NYC. It’s a very nice place, clean and very modern, homey feel to it. The only complaint is that some of the workers take forever to take your order, and to prepare it. And when the food does come out, it wasn’t as good as the one I’ve had upstate. I prefer you go eat at another Five Guys, preferably outside of NYC.

Five guys burgers are delicious! They taste fresh and not as greasy as most! Always a little line but the free peanuts make up for it! Not sure about the fries, am yet to try them but loooooove the burgers.

We love Five Guys burgers. They’re always fresh, not using some frozen patties. Food quality & customer service are definitely 4 stars. Minus 1 star because it took a long time for the food to come out. Definitely longer than any other Five Guys that we’ve been before. We don’t remember exactly how long we had to wait for our food but the amount of time that we had to wait was so long, we almost forgot that we were eating at a fast food place.
If you have time to kill, hungry, don’t want to spend a lot but wants to have good quality burger, then definitely stop by this place. If you are in a rush, thinking about having a quick meal, skip this one.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me over and over again? I think that just makes me a fool. I consider myself a relatively intelligent person, yet I keep getting sucked in by all the hype that Five Guys is the «best burger in town» or «best burger in the country.» It never is. Yet in spite of my consistent disappointment in a burger that’s average at best (mediocre and overpriced at worst), I come here every six months or so expecting more. Why do I do this to myself? Will I ever learn? Will it ever get better? Probably not, but my foolish self will probably keep hope alive. See you in six months…

One of my favorite Burger Spots ever. The spicy fries are to die for. The large order fills me up for a whole day.
Looking forward to a location opening up close to me on Shore Parkway in Brooklyn. Will definitely be a consistent customer.
Oh and they carry Gold Peak Sweet Ice Tea!

I’m not sure how this place can get anything less than five stars. Burgers are slamming, fries are delicious and they give you the notable extra scoop with every order. You can choose your own toppings, snack on peanuts while you wait and the service is great. What more do you want? I’ll tell you what else, a bar attached to it.
Came here on a Thursday night and a buddy mentioned that this location actually has a bar upstairs. To my surprise, we walked through Five Guys to a door in the back that led us to a bar/​lounge upstairs. What’s even better is you can place a food order from five guys at the bar and have it brought up to you. Very chill vibe and truly one of those NYC gems that you’d never know about unless someone mentioned it to you. Though I don’t eat fast food much anymore, the few times that I decide to, I’ll certainly be paying this place a visit.

My nephews fave: plain cheese burger & fries! What else can I say.
This place has one of the best burgers.
Their prices are a little but pricey compared to other burgers but with the free roasted nuts. Well it’s reasonable.
The staff are are friendly and nicer.
The place is clean. The rest room code is in the receipt. Nice idea. It works!
What else to say but a must try.

Five Guys was the first upgraded fast food spot to hit my local area. They make a solid burger, with plenty of options for customization. I was drunk and it was packed when I got to this particular location. Service was okay, the line moved quickly and I got my food about 10 minutes after ordering, which is pretty average for Five Guys. The employees were also very friendly, I spent my wait time conversing with the guys not running the register.
Food was solid. Little bacon cheese burger and fries to split with my drinking buddy. There’s a bar upstairs, but the line was long so I didn’t get to check it out.

Il y a des endroits comme ça ou le touriste lambda né mettrait pas les pieds.
Un vulgaire fast food. Des tables pas très propres et une déco absente.
Les employés sont habilles en rouge et ressemblent à n’importe lesquels d’autres grande chaîné.
La carte est simple: burger ou cheese burger avec ou sans bacon. Le reste c’est du toping c’est au choix du client et c’est gratuit.
Notre numéro est appelé assez rapidement et la on rentre dans un monde de graisse et de délice. Sûrement le meilleur burger que j’ai mange dans ma vie.
Il semble tout droit sorti de la rue. Je né sais pas en quoi il est spécial mais c’est juste le meilleur du monde.
Les frites sont faites maisons et elles sont succulentes. Mais vraiment. On se sent oblige d’éloigner le paquet pour arrêter de succomber.
Car oui tout est copieux et gras. Il faut donc s’en éloigner ou devenir gros.
