If you like chocolate and coffee, this is a great place to stop in. The Italian Hot Chocolate is super hot, BT it’s basically liquid chocolate. When it cools, it literally makes a layer of chocolate. Not many seats available, but its pretty cozy to sit if you’re walking in-between places in NYC.

I make sure to stop at this shop every time I’m in the area and plan my day around it. Always puts a smile on my face!!!

Really glad I discovered this place. Adorable café, Italian espresso at its best, and friendly service — this place makes me feel like I’m back in Italy! They have some delicious looking pastries which I may have to try next time(unfortunately mostly out by 6pm), and the machine for Italian hot chocolate which looks delicious. Great selection of teas as well, and the price was quite reasonable. Wifi and plugs available, although unfortunately the wifi only works for an hour. Will be back and look forward to a return visit! Hungry Kat, approved.

Love this place! Nice, clean, great service. Only downside is it does tend to get a bit crowded at certain times, but hey we’re in New York City so thats bound to happen. Love the chocolates they give with the coffee as well.

New place that opened up around from me. Nice place clean and convenient but still another generic modern coffee shop(i wish there was a real café around here) The coffee is good and it serves its pupose. Saw more than a few people sitting getting work done. Hopefully it won’t turn into a boisterous place.

I used a $ 8 credit from LevelUp at this new location of Filicori Zecchini, however it was useless because I wasn’t even given part of my order. I ordered the following: a almond croissant, a canele, and a banana walnut loaf slice and took it home with me. I didn’t check the bag at the store which is partly my fault, I guess, but people don’t usually forget to put something you purchased into your bag that you’re taking home. So I paid $ 10.45(well, minus 8 bucks) for a single canele and a single almond croissant. Ruff ruff. Regardless of this hiccup, the staff at FZ were extremely friendly and we even chatted it up about their origins. They have a bunch of staff from eastern Europe, though it is an Italian shop. It’s also a franchise, I found out. The canele was delicious — crispy on outside and soft on the inside. It went well with a cup of tea at home. Almond croissant hit the sweet spot. Did not get to try their coffee since it was close to 8pm and I wanted to sleep tonight, but may have to go back and try it(and maybe get my banana bread back? haha). They did have me sample their hot chocolate which was delicious, but then I was turned off when they told me it was powder. Hmm. Staff are really nice here and the pastries are good, but I can’t give full stars when I wasn’t even given something I paid for! Dang it I wanted that banana bread!

I really want to love this place as I live nearby but the wi-fi is not at all reliable and the baristas aren’t the least apologetic when it goes down for hours at a time. Please let customers know that your wi-fi is down before we spend $ 5 on a coffee in order to work here! This has happened to me more than 5 times and they’ve barely been open a month.

Stopped in for a coffee and quick breakfast. Delicious croissant sandwiches. Very nice little shop. I would definitely come back next time I’m in NYC.

I like this place. Not crowded. Clean. Great corner view with big windows. Nice sandwich selection. Okay coffee. Very euro feeling.

These guys just opened and the store is much more interesting than the prior inhabitant(scaffolding and a «Coming Soon» sign). It’s a really big place with big windows and you see lots of pastries, tables, cold brew on tap and no prices. The cold brew is right around $ 5, so that’s not ideal, and it’s above average but not great. If you’re trying to hang out in a nice place it’s probably good for that(note: I was not trying to hang out in a nice place). If you’re trying to grab a quick coffee, there are better spots around(like Joe’s) within a block or so.
