BEWARERIPOFF!!! My GF loves blue roses. One day we pass family market and I notice them. I check my pocket for cash and see I have $ 8 exactly… what luck the two signs shown here say«painted roses $ 8» and«colored roses $ 8»! So I go in to buy the flowers and the guy working at the counter says«$ 12»…wait what? I bring him outside and show him the two signs and he still insists $ 12 — not even admitting an error in the signs, he simply has no response why the signs are labeled as such. He then has the audacity to tell me if I can’t spend $ 12 rather than $ 8 on these flowers that I clearly can’t afford them. Really!?! You totally missed the point! Zero stars! Please avoid this company and bring your business elsewhere! Note: the next day they put up a sign by the blue roses charging them at $ 12. Wow!

Family Market is your typical bodega — Upper East Side style. Candy bars, ice cream, deli meats and sandwiches, soda cans, chips, specialty foreign chocolates, milk, and beautiful flowers… Nothing special, but a nice, dependable place to get a few groceries if you don’t want to make the schlep to Fairway.
