Quick service! Loved the prices and options. I was bummed that they were out of eggs for breakfast sandwiches at 11 am! They still had many other options and many were vegetarian friendly.

As someone who use to work at a couple delis in college, this is a REAL deli. I was impressed how fast orders were taken and sandwiches were made. I ordered a hero with prosciutto, mozz, avocado, mayo and tomato. SOGOOD. First of all, it was only $ 9.25 including tax. Secondly, I technically get 2 sandwiches out of it because it’s so big. They have a very wide variety of sandwiches and meats. They also have hot sandwiches, bagels, breakfast sandwiches. I heard they have a hot/cold bar downstairs? I will have to check that out next time I go. On another occasion I ordered a ham, brie, roasted pepper, mayo and avocado sandwich($ 10.64) — this was AMAZING. Probably my new go-to. The bread was delicious and all of the ingredients were fresh. YES. I’ll be back.

Haven’t had the salad bar but ordered a prosciutto hero. It was ok. Not great, not bad, but a serviceable sandwich. They had a pretty large menu so I’d be willing to give it another try but liekly won’t go out of my way to do so.

My go-to workday breakfast sandwich joint! Bacon, egg & cheese(#3 I think?) with pepper and ketchup. The perfect compliment to a «one too many cocktails» kind of morning.

Family thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate here; from the hamburger to a turkey sandwich to the corned beef. All were very, very good. A must go when visiting Manhattan and looking for a really good deli sandwich. Line was long, but they are very fast and a accommodating. Special tip, go during crowded times as the food appears more fresh — turnover food more often, less time to sit out. This is based on our second visit.

Western Omelette– smoky ham, onion and peppers sautéed but not much, hot home fries with plenty of seasoning, and a side of buttered toast = $ 4!!! That’s unheard of around here. It was delicious and fast– cant wait to go back and try lunch!

Let me be real here. I LIVE for good burgers and sandwiches – anything that is squished between two loaves of bread gives me a wonderful feeling. When I was young, I used to sew my own curtains with pumpernickel slices… if anyone needs a passion DIY project, feel free to email me for my pumpernickel curtain instructions. This is some pinterest shit right here. I have a great passion for carbohydrates(especially bread), and D & S Market Place provides the perfect marriage of protein, vegetables, and BREAD. Honestly, if I could, I would build a giant condo out of bread and live in it. My love is not limited to sourdough and rye… sometimes I go a little wild(because you need to switch up the textures once in a while and go CRUNCHYYY) and experiment with the occasional croûton. Not only does this deli satisfy my greatest passion in life, it’s only an avenue away from where I work, in case I get bread withdrawal and need a quick fix. So thank you D & S Marketplace, from the bottom of my warm, fluffy, yeasty heart, for making all of my dreams come true. You guys are my Disney World.

Excellent place to grab a quick morning meal. Coffee is surprisingly excellent and the bagels while not jewish bagel standard, are still good.

Good place with a large selection: buffet(by the pound), deli, soups, sushi, Korean and Japanese foods. Plus a small grocery too. Almost too much to choose from. Prices reasonable. Also has small seating area if you want to eat in. I’ve been here twice now, and will visit again when in the area.

The servings are huge, but thing to nothing amazing to write home about. Perhaps, we got something just okay. I will say though, they have a big spread, so it might be a good place to go when you’re not sure what you want specifically. 3.5 stars cuz I’ve had better.

Delicioussss… Wowza– my go to place in the area for breakfast sandwiches and coffee, these guys are like a machine! Sometimes a decent line during the breakfast rush but worth the wait, they get the line moving relatively fast! My usual: bacon, egg and cheese on everything bagel or ham and cheese omelette; both delicious!!!

This place is the stop to get a sandwich. Great selection and they have a juice and smoothie bar as well. Definitely go.

I can only really speak to their hot and salad buffet as I have not ordered anything else in this place(all the way in the back past the sandwich area, down a flight of stairs). Good variety, and D & S doesn’t unreasonably over-charge as other delis in the area would. Highly recommended if you want to grab a quick lunch without having to wait in long lines.

Solid lunch spot with reasonably priced sandwiches. The D&S special is on point. The D&S is a BLT on Rye bread with Russian dressing.

WELL then: yesterday we had an open bar thing at work. Happy for me last night, but sad for me this morning when I woke up. Actually, happy for me when I woke up this morning becuase I was still a bit ham sauce so I was feeling good. Fast forward to 9:00AM and oh wow different story. I was fading, and I was fading hard. I needed a BEC and I needed it STAT. This place is my go-to deli lunch spot since it is right near my office. I figured they would also be able to hook a girl up with a bacon egg and cheese to make me feel somewhat functional again. .. turns out I FIGUREDRIGHT! I am actually like 40% functional today which is pretty neat because I was at negative 20% 3 hours ago. I also really like their turkey club sandwich. .. really neat and only 7 doll hairs. My BEC was $ 3.95. Oh and they have a credit card minimum of 5 doll hairs.

If you’re the type of person for whom ambiance and style make the meal, I would suggest skipping D&S Deli. There are no tablecloths here. No hostess waiting to greet you and no cute tapas(or tapas-like ingredients) compliments of the chef. If, however, you’re someone who appreciates a finely crafted sandwich or salad, made with simple ingredients, but made by a craftsman, you’re in luck. Walk on in, get in line and practice your order so it is ready when your turn comes and you don’t upset the blue collar symphony behind the counter. Pair your sandwich or salad with something from one of the coolers or shelves filled with the regular fare. Then take your meal elsewhere to eat, or if you must, walk up the stairs, power up your phone and tune out the other working stiffs as you«dine.» Oh, neither the tuna on rye with lettuce and tomato, or the grilled cheese(American) on wheat were mind blowing. But they were done right, which will keep me coming back.

Visiting the city for the first time and was looking for a great deli style authentic place to eat. This place was fantastic I got a cheese burger and my husband ordered the philly cheesesteak and they both were delicious! They have a variety of different types of food. The salad bar looked amazing! This place is a must try!

It wasn’t the best … I got a Philly cheesesteak roll and a side of chips. The chips had no salt on them and were pretty stock standard. The roll was a bit stale and steak a bit bland. I hate it when this happens !(Food regret haha). I did see that they’ve got a great little salad bar down the bottom of the shop though and those options looked great! Overall though … Pretty shyte :(
