I order from here quite often. The food is always good. I get the breakfast burrito — which is pretty good — and typically create my own wrap. Ordering a salad is great — the create your own — because, unlike so many other places, they do not charge for each additional topping. You get a good deal. Food gets here in a timely manner and they get it right. They are affordable for what you get. They have good wraps, in general. Give them a try. :)

Worst service ever! This one lady has a crazy ‘tude and they all just sit behind the counter laughing and talking and don’t notice if you are being helped or anything! This morning, the lady charged me for a bagel and went back to her convo and jokes with her coworkers and didn’t bother checking on my bagel after I’d been waiting on it for 10 mins, when I finally ask, she asks the bagel guys and they tell her there are no more bagel left…10 mins for no bagel in NYC in the morning

Normally it’s pretty good. Recently though I received a salad with blue cheese. The cheese was not fresh and made me sick.

Awful service. I went to pick up a bagel on my way to the office. So you go order, they give you a ticket with the $ amount, which you bring to the cashier to pay. But don’t lose the ticket after you pay! They won’t give you your food without it. I ordered a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. I took my ticket, went up and paid, went back to the bagel counter. Wait a couple of minutes, fine. One guy shouts out«whole wheat bagel» while looking at me. I shake my head no. The guy I ordered from takes the bag, hands it to me and says«7 grain bagel». I say no, I ordered cinnamon raisin. He says, no, 7 grain, and pushes the bag to me. Meanwhile, it’s not crowded in here at all. They’re not working under stressful breakfast rush conditions like a lot of other delis in the area. So I say, I said cinnamon raisin, I don’t want a 7 grain bagel. He pulls the bag back in disgust, and does the fastest toast ever on a cinnamon raisin bagel, shmears too much cream cheese, and gives it to me. This is the opposite of customer service. You never tell the customer that they’re wrong!

Good lunch place. Order at the counter and find yourself a table upstairs. My sandwich was good and grabbed a cookie and bottle of ice tea. Nice quick lunch but no one is rushing you out the door either.

Interesting reviews. Three adults shared 4 breakfast entrees(two omelets, a breakfast burrito, and a cream cheese salmon bagel) with Apple juice for $ 20. The food was fresh, tasty, and ver affordable for the location. What are people complaining about? It beats me.

Green Café was a nice little breather from the bustle of the street. They had a lot of options for sandwiches and wraps so it took me a bit to decide. Their ingredients were fairly fresh and they offered a lot of good combinations. Figuring out how they wanted you to navigate around was a little confusing, and their seating area seemed a little hidden, and a little cramped. But space is at a premium, and they did have quite a few seats, so you get what you can. Bottom line is good food at a good price, something worth coming back to if you are in the area. Conveniently close to Central Park.

If you’re looking for good food at a fair price, served unbelievably fast(even at breakfast rush hour in the morning) stop by. By the time I paid for my food at the cash register line I turned around and it was done !

One of the most convenient places for me to order food from while I am at work. Seamless definitely prompted me to try this place because I just did not want to wait forever for someone to come and delivery food. The times that I have ordered I got the Cajun Chicken Quesadilla(more than 1 occasion), Jumbo Cookie(both Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Raisin), Mix & Match Smoothie(Strawberry, Blueberry, Raspberry. All in all it is a pretty good place to order from and they always have my food ready when I come in to pick it up

Went here a few times for lunch and will never go back. They have trouble putting a simple salad together. Used the wrong dressing TWICE and drown the salad in it. They also dilute their dressing. They have never charged me the same price twice and I order the same thing each time. It’s also unrightfully a little more expensive than other cafes. This place is disappointing.

Usually go here for breakfast but yesterday I had a chicken wrap. The meat was dry and tough. It definitely wasn’t worth the money and didn’t fill me up. I think they are also under-staffed compared to last year which made the ordering process longer. From now on I’ll stick to the breakfast.

I work a whole half a block away from here. Yet, I still insist on getting delivery from this place(crazy huh?) ANYWAY, the grilled chicken avocado sandwich is well worth the 2 dollars I tip the delivery guy for walking that half a block. It’s the perfect grilled chicken avocado sandwich, its EVERYTHING I want in my chicken avocado sandwich! Pair it with a fruit smoothie and it’s lunch heaven. Sometimes I grab a bagel on my way to work or a cheese danish(which i must say is one of the best cheese danish i have had) Ive got no complaints about this place. The people are nice and they are quick. Don’t hesitate to go here for lunch, they are quality! NOWGO! UPDATE!!!: STAYAWAYFROMTHEIRGRILLEDCHICKENSALADS. IVEHADONETOOMANYBADEXPERIENCES. Salads are very blahh. Meat is very dry and sort of depressing. Dressing always seems very watered down. The tiramisu has a consistency of glue — grosest thing i’ve ever tasted. They do deliver stellar fast, its why I’m bumping them to 2 stars.

Your average lunch-heavy deli/salad/pasta/grill restaurants which we all head to like obedient trolls at the prescribed hours. As the closest non-street-meat venue to my office, I was told of Green Café on my 2nd day. Came in, ordered a premade sandwich, and paid $ 9 for something that was pretty small but decent. In the following weeks, I’ve followed the same pattern, and never been blown away, impressed, or felt like it was worth my money. They do have a good veggie sandwich or two, but I’m not a big veghead on bread so have never tried. The soups.. . yeah, no. At least the one time I had — wish I had seen it before walking out — will gladly go elsewhere for my liquid food-based needs. They have pizza which is decent as über-thin-crust, so for a big man like me it won’t get close to filling me up. I’ll still probably end up here at times as it is so close to my source of paychecks, but there are better options for your lunch rush.

Beggars can’t be choosers and I was definitely a beggar by the time I ended up in here. I was headed to Fika for a cup of coffee, but of course, they were closed on a SUNDAY. So I was screwed and had to visit this place. This area doesn’t have many options so this might actually be your best bet. Sigh. FML. I has a small minestrone soup and they have some VEGAN options here(SALADS/SOUPS), so you won’t be left in the cold, but it won’t be of high-quality. Just get what you need, feed that hunger and get out.

Not sure if this is the right Green Café… I went to the one near FAO toy store. but I don’t think I’ve ever had coffee as gross as this place! I found coffee in NY to be pretty below average overall but this place was just nasty. I ordered a Caramel latte and it tasted like nasty milky medicine. The workers weren’t very friendly and didn’t know what they were doing either. Ugh.

3 stars for a quick bite for affordable prices, but reserved to the mid-work luncheon fare. Not alot of nickle-and-dime’ing here, as most meals will put you under 7 $, with portions hefty enough to knock you out for your afternoon meeting. If you’re not about to go back to work, there are so many better eateries in the area(see my review of Onya), so this is definitely a review for the get-back-to-work crowd. The greatest thing about Green Café is the fact that it caters to any craving you might have. Deli, teriyaki, fresh pasta, tossed salads, sushi, they have it. If you’re looking for a sense of identity in your food, go elsewhere. If you’re like me, and lunch is a time to simply fill your belly with decently flavored food, this is exactly where you want to find yourself on your lunch break. A solid 3 star quick lunch. It’s at least a once a week stop for me.

My chicken caesar wrap was a little dense, expensive, and had no caesar dressing on it. The lady at the checkout was a tad bit rude. When I was trying to pull out the money to pay for my order, she states, «oh he’s faster» and puts down my order and goes to the guy next to me. After she finally rang me up, instead of putting my items in a bag, she goes to the guy who was supposedly faster than me and runs his credit card! The guy working next to her looks at me like, oh you want a bag? No, I want to struggle walking up the block on this unusually windy day with all of my items in my hand. Doubtful that I will be back for anything other than something to drink on my way back from the nail salon.
