Walnuts? No… Peanuts? No. Any nuts here? No nuts here. I think it’s the only thing I’d change, I like walnuts in my nutella crepes. But their Cameron(nutella with vanilla crushed cookies) was delightful and *packed* with nutella. I would certainly come back with friends :) I came with my boyfriend around 9 pm, it was relatively empty then started getting pretty busy. But the place has plenty of seating room. He had the Obama($ 7) and I had the Cameron($ 6). The consistency of the crepes is very good, it’s not pancakey at all. The cashiers make your crepes, bring them to your table, and are a very friendly staff.

came in around 10pm Friday. No other customers in the store. I got a sweet crêpe with nutella, oreos, and marshmallows. We were the only people there, and the people working the cash register and making the crêpe were really nice. The batter and the crêpe skin itself were amazing, its probably my fault in selecting the filling but the whole thing was so sweet I really only took a couple bites and had to give up. deserves 4 stars for the amazing batter though.

I was in the area looking for a light brunch place that wasn’t packed on a brisk Saturday afternoon and had already passed by two crêpe places along the way. This was the one place where there were only 2 – 3 people in it, so I decided to come here. Cute, unique names for crepes. I couldn’t decide between«Leila»(cheese, tomatoes & fresh basil) and the«New Yorker»(cheese, prosciutto, capocollo, sopressata & tomatoes) in the savory crepes section. I asked the girl behind the desk to help me choose and she recommended the«Leila». I finished it within 3 minutes! It’s a decent sized crêpe… and not your usual brown, crispy crêpe. But it does the job and fills my cravings. I got the #2 combo that comes with a crêpe, soup and a drink… which totaled up to just $ 10. They offer other excellent combos: $ 9 for a crêpe, chips and a drink, $ 11 for two crepes(savory & sweet) and a drink, and $ 12 for two savory crepes and a drink. The eating area is adorable and fun. If I’m ever in the area again and had a craving for crepes at the wee hours of the night, I know where to come! This place stays open until 4am on Fridays and Saturdays. Insane!!!

Had catering from this place once. The only option was chocolate nutella, but at least it was good. Even though I live very close, I finally went in to the shop for the first time last week and decided to try my very first savory crêpe. I got the south breach(without olives, and vinaigrette instead of hot sauce). It was so good! It was cheesy and flavorful, the wrap was crispy, and the serving was huge. I was staarrrvvvvingggggg and I left very full. My friend and I got the 1 drink, 1 savory crêpe, and 1 sweet crêpe deal for $ 11. Very worth it.

When I first passed this store, I promised myself I’d make the time to visit and give their crepes a try. Lucky me, I live across the park from it so it’s not too far of a walk. And a side plus: they’re open late on weekends, so it’s perfect for the late-night craving after chilling with friends. I like to get the one savory and one sweet combo with my boyfriend. He tends to like the savory ones more because they’re more filling. I think they’re too dense, so I like the dessert crepes. The fruit-filled ones are just amazing. My favorite is the Obama with added powdered sugar. The Manjo is also super good. Prices aren’t cheap, but for an occasional craving, it’s worth it. I love their loyalty cards, too. Staff is super nice, especially the manager. I once got two crepes and forgot my card. I told him the next time I was there, and he punched my card anyway. I definitely recommend trying the crepes here!

I think I will pay Sumit D to launch the crêpe. I don’t think I’ve ever had a crêpe I couldn’t eat. Until now.

Had the living social and finally used it Halloween weekend. I had one savory and one dessert crêpe. While the dessert crêpe was not tasty enough to negate the fat/calories I was in-taking(my new rule for valuing fatty foods), the savory one was disgusting enough to throw it at the owner’s head.

I came here to redeem a coupon I bought via Living Social and grabbed a friend to join me for lunch. I think the prices are fair and you see it made in front of you so you know it’s fresh. The staff is friendly and even bring your food to a table for you if you decide to not take it to go. We only chose savory crepes today so I’m only judging those(but they do have sweet ones). My friend and I are vegetarian and there were only 2 options so we went with the more dense one. I wanted to leave out the cheese and make it vegan but… all the ingredients would’ve fallen out so they recommended to go lite on the cheese. We each got the combo of a crêpe + soup + drink = $ 10 which I thought was well worth it. Today happened to be a veg tomato soup MmmMm. We work in the area so we’ll be back sans coupon with more co-workers ;)

Crepeaway is a great place for a small(though not light) meal. I love their combo deals, especially if you are there with another person and you each want only one crêpe and don’t mind sharing a drink with your friend(I’m still young and carefree enough to do that, right?). It cuts the cost by a decent amount(2 savory crepes and a drink= $ 12). I enjoyed the first half of my Mikey w/o chicken(it has black beans, cheese, jalapeño, and chipotle sauce), but once it got to be heavy on the sauce it was a little spicy for me. My friends had the Caesar and the one with prosciutto, which they both liked a lot. The crêpe part itself was good and hearty, enough so that the crêpe could be folded up and stuck in a cone to be eaten with no utensils. Sweet! The only downside was that they only had one kind of cheese. It’s Monterey Jack, so it’s delicious, but when I think about crepes I can’t help but think about brie. Should I see someone about that? Their sweet crepes, though I am not a huge huge dessert person, did look really good. I might just have to try one. The service is really friendly, and they have room to sit too, in case you aren’t as excited about eating your crêpe out of a cone as I am.

Who doesn’t love crepes? Stumbled upon this place while literally craving a crêpe. and just my luck, Crepeaway came to my rescue! I love how there are two large speakers right above the entrance as you open the door to walk in. and there’s a bench outside, which is always nice. There are several tables available, but I took my order and walked over to Washington Square Park across the street instead. I ordered the South Beach. The dough was crisp on the outside but soft as you get into the center. Fully packed with chunks of chicken, turkey, mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, cheese, and some type of hot sauce for that extra kick. I might be missing an ingredient somewhere in there, but I just remember it being packed. I give this place an extra star because the worker was kind enough to let me fill up my empty water bottle at their drink dispenser. Usually people look at me funny whenever I ask(what’s wrong with asking for water??), but he was so gracious about it. Thanks, guy!

It’s true, the crêpe itself is pretty doughy, not your authentic crêpe. However, I have to say it was delicious! I ordered the Obama(nutella, berries and banana)– it was huge! they gave a lot of fruits and it was very fresh. I really like their crepes. Came back twice already and it’s definitely a great deal! Their savory crepes are awesome too! They give a lot of stuffing, which is excellent for the price.

Jess L. has never steered me wrong and Crepeaway is no exception. The Obama even sans Nutella was delicious. It’s only 3 stars for me because of the crowded seating(the tables are right next to each other and it’s hard getting into and out of your seat) and the fact that the crêpe is somewhat… nontraditional. How can I describe it? Chewy, doughy, just shy of raw? The first few bites had me worried but once you get a bite of the ingredients with the crêpe, all concerns float away as you realize you’ve found a $ 5-$ 7 crêpe place with additional combos that you don’t have to go way out of your way for. Or maybe that’s just me. :) I’ve posted a pic with the current combinations. There are seven griddles? crêpe stations? set up so they seem prepared for a crowd.

I came back here for their $ 11 two crêpe + drink combo. I had to get the Obama again — super excellent — and also got the Dr. J, which included ham, cheese, mushrooms, tomato, and honey mustard. I really loved it, and they didn’t skimp out on ingredients in the least! Awesome deal and quite filling. I’d definitely recommend your asking them to cut the crêpe if you plan on sharing with a friend. Splitting the Obama without a pre-cut was pretty messy — though quite funny. Also, apparently they only carry spoons, which I find a little odd, but not enough to sully my opinion.

You won’t get a traditional golden brown and fluffy French crêpe here, but what you do receive is worth the visit. Crepeaway eliminates the knife and fork by craftily using one of those cone-shaped cups found at water coolers. The handheld creations do not skimp on the fillings, which makes this place a good value… one savory and one sweet crêpe with a drink is $ 11. Meat lovers will not be disappointed by the Big Papa, which is absolutely packed to the brim with ingredients. And you can’t go wrong with a sweet crêpe with berries, which were as summer fresh as could be. Nutella is my fallback favorite. The staff is really on top of things, and the interior has seating for about 20.

Sweet and savory crepes with funny names… but at least the crêpe tasted good. You can get all kinds of pre-made mixes of sweet or savory crepes, and if you’re patient, your wait here won’t be too long. Combos with a couple crepes together and a drink are cheaper than buying two(it takes that many to fill a grown person).

Crepeaway serves a limited amount of food — sweet or savory crepes, chips, soup, drinks and that’s it. However, the food tastes 100% fresh. The crêpe café is a lovely little spot right across the street from Washington Square Park. The interior consists of light purple and wooden chairs. The joint is small, but it was not crowded at all when I went during the late afternoon/early evening. The staff looked like a bunch of college kids probably from NYU, but they were very sweet and lovely. I got a savory Big Papa crêpe which is stuffed with cheese, chicken, bacon, turkey, ham, and hot sauce. The crêpe was delicious because it was crispy and not cakey like a lot of other places I’ve tried. It is all about the batter people! The crêpe is sweet, but the hot sauce kicks it up a notch to a whole another level. I didn’t think it was spicy enough for me, but it was extra cheesy so that made up for it. It was like eating a chicken and cheese quesadilla. The tomato bisque soup was delicious with generous chucks of tomatoes. Crepeaway only serves 3 tomato-based soups such as tomato bisque, tomato&basil, and tomato&peppers. Enough with the tomato! I want variety. I took a few bites of my Dan W’s sweet crêpe made of nutella and banana, and I wanted to snatch that out of his hands. Fortunately for him, he gobbled it up in a few seconds. We both mentioned how we loved the crepes there and how they were made with absolute perfection. They also have reasonably priced combo deals to sample all your crêpe-enjoying pleasures.

Forgive me Lenny Kravitz but I want to Crepeaway…(And I want to fly too but that’s a different story). A welcome addition to the NYU/Washington Square Park area, I discovered Crepeaway by accident like the invention of silly putty. Admiring the refit park, I was all set to visit a certain cup cake chain when out of the corner of my eye a colorful sign appeared that included the magical word ‘crêpe’. Cast aside your conceptions of crepes from street fairs– this is a vastly superior product. The actual crêpe was thicker and just flat out tastier than previous ones I’ve had elsewhere. Crepeaway started out in DC(first US branch– the place actually has roots in Athens, Greece.) The menu includes sweet and savory crepes. I had every intention of ordering one simple crêpe named«Daisy» and calling it a night. Nutella and banana or «Daisy» was so good I had to try a «Toto» or nutella and strawberry. The crepes were served on a plate and folded into a cone, with one end bound by a cup. Experiencing the fresh crêpe, melting nutella and fruit(So healthy) was my get away. The price was $ 6.50. There are a few seats and tables, the lighting is a bit bright and clinical but that’s ok– take a crêpe to the park and enjoy!

I heart Crepeaway. I am so sad that they opened about a month before I graduated from NYU — although my wallet is certainly grateful for that. These crepes are fresh, delicious, and a generous size. I love ordering the veggie with the NYer meats — that’s right! And at no extra charge! The crepes are reasonably priced and they offer excellent combos — .i.e. a savory and sweet crêpe, plus a drink for $ 12. Although that is way more food that I can consume, so I usually just order a savory crêpe($ 7). I also feel the need to shout out their fast and friendly service. This is truly a break from your ordinary lunch — YUMYUMYUM!

Came here to use my Groupon. However, they have pretty good combo deal(crêpe+drinks) you don’t really need to use Groupon. And you can’t use Groupon to buy combo. I had one savory and one sweet. Both are good but it seems savory is better worth the price: chicken, fresh green peppers, fresh tomatoes, mushroom, cheese, etc. This can be light lunch/dinner. The restaurant indoor seating area is good.

Although I was hesitant to try out a place whose walls are decked out in pure periwinkle, I decided to check out this new lunch establishment by NYU as an alternative to the salads and pressed panini’s in the area. What a pleasant surprise! For $ 7, you can get a savory crêpe. I ordered the«Mikey» which was a crêpe with chicken, black beans, cheese and tomatoes. The crêpe itself was fluffy while all the ingredients were surprisingly fresh. I was amazed that the black beans did not even make the entire crêpe soggy. It also looks like they have different lunch options, such as a crêpe, chips and a drink for something like $ 9, or a crêpe and soup for the same price and so on. Definitely will be going back and trying out the sweet crepes!
