Three stars because it is what it is. If you live in NYC it’s like going to a street fair. Once you’ve been it is the same drill in a different neighborhood. If you are a tourist you may enjoy the holiday experience at Columbus Circle. I find this area already too congested with traffic, both people and cars. I prefer Bryant Park… or even Union Square. In that order!

This market is a condensed version of the Union Square Christmas Market. There are a ton of NY based art vendors,(a personal favorite) artisanal snacks and treats also assorted bath products. This market is not as well laid out as the Union Square version. It is very maze like with narrow aisle which can be difficult to maneuver. Personally I prefer the Union Square Christmas Market but if I am in the Lincoln Center area during the holidays, I will pay it a visit and spend some money.

This is an annual holiday market that is held in front of the gold statue in columbus circle. There are literally hundreds of stalls set up by various businesses that range from candle holders to custom-made jewelry to scarves, cartoon socks, and a Lot more. My favorites were the Luminite stall, this awesome truffle stall, and the Boomb(())x stall. The luminite stall featured these gorgeous candle holders made of a semi-precious stone. The truffle stall would give out free samples and the only catch was that you had to let the truffles(secret French family recipe) melt in your mouth. Trust me, this was worth the experience. So SO delicious! The Boomb(())x stall(small device that literally turns anything into a speaker. Seriously, anything. A pizza box, piece of cardboard, red party cup, styrofoam beer container, even a plastic bottle. Only catch– it cannot be bolted down(the device creates sound waves that would be absorbed) and it doesn’t work on skin or fabric. Also, liquids dilute it. This is fun to play with though, because if you have a water bottle and tilt it so that the device is on the filled with water, it creates a sound. Then you tilt the bottle so the water is on a side not touching the device, and the sound is amplified. By a Lot. SO cool!
