Best laundry/​dry cleaner on the upper east side. Always timely, always friendly, and the best customer service I’ve experienced having lived in 5 areas of Manhattan and using many different providers in that time. Delivery service is top notch. Would recommend to anyone

The people who own be store are super friendly and nice. I used them for several years and was usually happy with the results. But the quality of the work declined and things were getting ruined, lost, or some other inconvenience. Their answer to lost items was to out a sign up saying they are not responsible for any items in wash and fold. Not a very good business decision. Like many places they outsource all their laundry — but unlike other places they take ZERO responsibility for the outcome.
In any case, the store is expensive and they don’t do a very good job. The only good qualities are the friendly people. What’s the point when there are many other places who will be business-​like and just get the job done properly?

I brought in a shirt with a stain and asked if they would try to get it out. I knew it might not be possible, but the woman behind the counter said they would try and I could come back in a couple of days. When I went to pick it up, she didn’t mention the stain, but while I was getting my wallet out, I saw her fiddling with my shirt, folding over the area on the front where the stain is. It’s $ 6 for a shirt — unbelievable, I know this is the Upper East Side, but really — and she didn’t even have the decency to tell me that she couldn’t get the stain out, I saw it when I brought the shirt home. Instead, she charged a ridiculous price and tried to hide it from me! If she had just told me, I’m sorry, I tried but I couldn’t get it out, then I would have been happy to pay her for her services, but the way she treated me, I feel cheated.

Really fantastic place!
I was in desperate need of a tailor to fix my dress ASAP (as in I needed in done in less than a day if possible). I read the excellent reviews about this little place and took a chance.
Kelly, who greeted me, was not only ‘happy’ to help, but was very in control of the situation (zipper needed replacing) which gave me a lot of faith. She also let out the dress so it fit me better. All for a reasonable price.
On top of that she got it done in the same day (which I was most grateful for!).
I would definitely come back again for all my tailoring needs as well as recommend to anyone that needs a funtastic tailor!

This place is great! But the prices are among the highest.
I had a pencil skirt taken in and shortened and it looks fantastic. Super kind owners and if it just wasn’t for the price I would probably bring more things their way. Either way, if you’re in a pinch and are looking for quality, this is the place!

I was sad that my old wash & fold/​dry cleaning place was too far away to deliver to my new apartment, but as soon as I discovered Cho’s my sorrows were gone! Not only are the prices cheaper than my old spot, but the word «Happy» is the perfect descriptor – so sweet, so kind, and they LOVE puppies! My puppy even starts wagging her tail as soon as we near the door, because she knows the «cookie lady» is going to spoil her silly :) A bright spot to a New York chore, and the service is quick and high quality as well!

Wonderful tailor! I had a much more expensive tailor tell me that he couldn’t fix my dress for my sister’s wedding (it had to be taken out in the chest), but Cho had no problem tailoring it and did a fabulous job! The dress fit me better than most dresses I own and you could not see any of the alterations she made to the seams. She’s also extremely friendly and though I only came to her for alterations (I had a closer dry cleaner for my other needs), she always remembered me and was super welcoming.
If you’re looking for a great, friendly tailor — particularly for women — definitely check this place out!

My go-​to wash&fold and dry cleaning place! Everyone that works there is incredibly helpful and happy. They have great prices and quick turnaround. They also LOVE dogs and have an abundant supply of puppy treats if you bring your pooch in! We have even reached the point where she will give me one to take home to my pup if he doesn’t come along.
