This is the perfect spot to have breakfast, lunch or a coffee date. The whole family were running around the city and while we waited for my husband, my son and I stopped in for some brekkie. Based on the Unilocal ratings, I had a good feeling about the place, plus the food pics were appetizing. It’s a cozy café but they made use of every corner to allow for ample seating; it’s way bigger than it looks upon entry. We chose a sunny table at the front entrance and the employee taking care of the counter did double duty and came to get our orders. They have a large tea selection that I couldn’t choose from, so I went with the fresh squeezed red grapefruit juice. My son had one of their Tropical smoothies, made with coconut water. We both ordered the Nuotatore Sandwich, which had a little cream cheese, smoked salmon, tomatoes and spring greens. It was served with a small, lightly dressed salad and was really good. It was just enough food to satisfy us while in the city but I wish we would’ve ordered one of those sandwiches and a quiche so we could’ve had the opportunity to try a couple of items. Hindsight is 20⁄20. They have a small menu and food is prepared well and if ever in the area again, I would definitely have to stop in.

Two big thumbs up for this little, casual NYC Mediterranean café. Not fancy, but what they do, they do right. Great veggie scramble(you have to ask them to scramble), served with a lovely Israeli salad, wonderful giant OJ and crunchy multi-grain toast… all for 13.00! Lovely staff too. Very neighborhood café. We will be back!

Absolutely love this neighborhood gem! Great coffee and even better food — a unique blend of Israeli and Italian, and it doesn’t get much better.

Nothing elegant, but darn good espresso and my daughter says they have the best hot chocolate. Get ready to hear a little Hebrew here although the Israeli owner has since moved to the motherland. Nice for eating in or taking out. I’ve had Israeli salad and eggs there in the past which isn’t bad but wouldn’t run back for.

I happened to be on the upper east side visiting a friend and we stopped in for a bite to eat. I wish we hadn’t. This place is average to below average in every way possible. Kind of dark, old interior with badly chipped paint on the beam right next to the food(you need a remodel, people!). Average coffee and a boring menu with uninspired food. No effort is put into this place at all. Lots of boring, packaged foods to buy too — just things you can buy at the supermarket at the cash register area. Next time I’m in the area, I will pass on Caffe Noi.

Came for the coffee, stayed for the great food. Dishes are healthy, light and fresh, the vibe is super casual and friendly and the staff is helpful and funny.

Absolutely rudely treated by the staff for using a finished punch card to get a free coffee. I’ve been a regular customer for years and I will never set foot in this establishment again. Good coffee but rude staff to regulars. Customer satisfaction is not a priority at this establishment!

On the basis of its Unilocal reviews, I stopped in here for a cup of coffee. Plain ol’ dark roast. It was undrinkable. I rarely throw coffee out, because coffee and I generally get along quite well(and I’m not really picky, I swear!), but… ugh. Gross.

I went here for afternoon coffee and a pastry and was very pleased. The dark roast coffee was great, not acidic or bitter and hot. I ordered a granola corn muffin as I have not seen this before at other coffee shops. It was better than my usual, blue berry or chocolate chip muffin and I would strongly recommend it if you like a little dryer and less sweet muffin. The staff was very nice and friendly, as I have recently moved into the city. You should try this place out!

My sister and I had our last breakfast in New York and it was amazing! The pancakes are perfect and the granola with yogurt was also really good! Also: perfect sizes! The drinks are outstanding! I had an iced chai that was the BEST one that I’ve had during the past two weeks(and I drank a lot!!) and my sisters iced mint lemonade was also really really good! Definitely a place to go !!! And: great service!!!

Guy behind the counter was very nice and helpful. Got the pancakes. They were alright. Good presentation but was a bit bland. Coffee was average. Environment was nice, casual, and open.

Casual, no nonsense kind of place with good food and good value for money, We had the Greek omelette which I can only recommend. Excellent toast to accompany it but the highlight was definitely the waffle covered in berries & bananas. My 3 year old devoured it. We would definitely come back when in the vicinity of the upper east side again.

Fresh and delicious breakfast for a reasonable price. I tried the Greek Omelette and a bureka. Both were good, but I liked the bureka the best. The coffee is excellent as others have pointed out.

YUM! Came here with fiancé while looking for a good breakfast/brunch place. Staff is very friendly, and even though it’s a coffee shop, they give great table service. Small space though, so wouldn’t come with a big group. What to get: Greek omelette yum! And the scones are deliciousss.

Sweet spot in the East 70s. I happened upon it after having a doctors appointment up here. What a cozy vibe and everything is fresh and appealing. I had the Greek omelette for about $ 9 which came with delicious whole-grain bread and a salad. The English breakfast tea was hot and really good quality. Now relaxing with a book and enjoying café au lait. It’s super simple but super nice and feels comfortable. Lots of regulars here and I can see why so many locals clearly find it a neighborhood favorite.

We called ahead of time since we had a large party, they were great on the phone! We arrived and they wasted no time, we had 11 people and they handled it with no problem at all. Service was great, food and coffee came out fast and it was delicious! Want a great brunch? Please do yourself a favor and try this place!

Nice staff and cozy space with free wifi, not sure if it’s a sit-down place, but I really just went in to order at the cashier and then sat down. The coffee is borderline really burnt and not tasty. Feel bad to say that because they’re so nice. I asked for a cup of water with my latte and it was the tiniest cup — probably not wanting me to stay long without ordering food haha. Not sure, but I saw someone else have a cup of water that was a huge cup! I probably won’t come back because of the ehhhh flavored espresso…

We found this place when we were vacationing in NYC. They have awesome coffee, amazing hot chocolate and refreshing squeezed oj. The pancakes were really yummy too, moist and delicious.

This is by far the best coffee in the city! And the food is just great too! The salads are wonderful and generous portions. The antipasti sandwich and the toastini are our favorites! We come here almost every day. And most of all we love the staff! Everyone is so nice!

I’ve been testing Café Noi for almost a year in order to really tell you guys what I have in mind. This place is packing with a lot of great ppl and especially the Israelis, from what I’ve explored in the area no one is serving the Israeli«Burekkas» but Café Noi. They also have a great meal and the coffee is insane!!! If you wanna chill and have a break you better go there and feel the vibe plus it’s so hot inside there so when it’s snowing outside it’s the best to go to. Bottom line — 5STARS — check it out. (Awesome beautiful girls)

Café Noi just properly schooled me with cappuccino: a single shot & almond milk. Never a coffee drinker, I was impresses. Cute relaxed coffee shop with free wifi, locals and laid-backness. Freshly squeezed OJ tasted delicious. waffle was too sweet & dry.

Very friendly staff, great lunch and coffee choices. Perfect place to grab lunch with friends or a coffee and study. Open window front makes it feel like you’re sitting outside with the comfort of being indoors. Free wifi is a plus too.

Before taking the number 6, I’d stop in and get my iced-americano and away we go. I also get the bacon egg and cheese croissant which will make you throw rocks at your grandmother. The place is small but nicely laid out and it isn’t obnoxiously crowded like everything else is. You can actually relax here and talk to the boys.

I got the waffles with fruit and a coffee. The coffee was decent. The waffles with fruit and powdered sugar did not need any more syrup to be sweet. Sugar overload aside, it was pretty decent. I was confused as to whether it was a restaurant or deli; do I pay at the counter, pick up my food, is my coffee was refillable(I don’t think it was), can I get water? Anyway, I got there at 10:30 am on Saturday and there were a few people there, but by 11 the place was flowing with locals.

This little café is what I had in mind when looking for the«New York style» café and I’m so glad I found this on my last day in UES(thanks to my fellow Unilocalers). Loved the atmosphere and the laid back attitude of this shop. The staff wasn’t too friendly but very helpful with suggestions. They accommodated my request on their mocha(since I don’t like too sweet of a drink). We had their almond croissant and raisin danish for breakfast and that was the best almond croissant I have had in a long time. Something about their croissant that is so moist yet crunchy. The danish was quiet enjoyable as well. I don’t remember how much we paid for our breakfast and it was definitely worth however much it was.

3.5÷5 for me here We popped in quickly looking for a mid-day pick-me-up and were satisfied with our experience. The café seemed to be relatively large with a good amount of tables and seating indoors with a handful of seats outside as well. The menu is pretty standard regarding coffees, espressos, etc. They also had an assortment of granola bars, macaroons with other sweets if you are hungry with a small menu of other foods as well. Overall, for a latte and espresso coming out to $ 7 and change, this is what I expected of this place. The service was good, café was relatively clean(a bit messy by the sugar and milk section), prices were in line for what NYC charges for those special caffeine beans but the espresso was not as strong as I was hoping for it to be. Enjoy.

Great service, great sandwiches, great setting. Café Noi has friendly staff and an ample amount of seating for two. My s. o and I came here for breakfast this morning and ordered two sandwiches and an almond croissant. 10⁄10 delicious, healthy, and affordable!

I love this place! There’s plenty of seating and sockets along with free wifi. As for the service, everyone is super friendly and accommodating. I ordered the salmon burger which came with salad and a delicious tzatziki sauce. One of the guys working there asked me how it was, and overall I just felt like they cared unlike some places that just hand you the food over the counter and don’t acknowledge you ever again. The burger itself was delicious, and went great with the sauce. The salad was good, too. I really want to return to try one of their smoothies!
