Bunn is inside Food Gallery 32 in Koreatown. I tried their beef, pork, curry, and kimchi bacon bunn($ 3 each) and they were all decent. While it is delicious, there’s nothing particularly special so I’m giving a 4 star rating.

First time trying this and I’m have to say it was pretty good. I always go to the food gallery there but never tried this place. Yesterday I decided to try it because I saw that they have the cream custard and I brought the 8 mini piece ones for $ 5.50 and I really enjoyed it. I even recommended to my friends. The people there was really friendly and even gave us a sample of the cream custard. Good customer service :) and will go back to it again before I leave the city.

I decided randomly to go here based on okay reviews and an intense craving for steamed buns. Some of these reviews are ridiculous(as expected) and bunn exceeded my expectations(also as expected). It was a hole in the wall and you could easily walk past it before seeing it — which I did. I got the pork bun, beef bun, and bacon kimchi bun because I wanted to try all three. The bacon kimchi bun could have been a little fluffier like the other two were but it had the BEST flavor. Super super quick, inexpensive, satisfying lunch. Will definitely be coming back!!!

The kimchi bun here is really salty and the dough is thick but in the good chewy way. It pretty much tastes a half step up from frozen steam buns even though they apparently makes these from scratch in house. $ 3 per. I still come here when I get a hankering for a quick Korean snack though cuz I work around the corner. Service is always super quick and friendly.

The sweet potato bun is extremely delicious especially having it in winter!!! So does the taiyaki

I have to give 4 stars for just simple, quick deliciousness all in the palm of your hand. You go up, you order, and as you are paying, your bun is ready in the take-away box. The best flavor by far is the beef one. The dough is fresh, the beef and noodle ratio on the inside is perfect, and the flavor is spot on. Nice and savory without being too overwhelming to the soft dough. I’d say if this bun could be improved, it be to have a fluffier texture but overall, extremely satisfying for $ 3 a bun. The mini red bean fish are also a nice snack. I’d recommend those for a quick sweet bite. I will say… do not order the chicken curry. It tastes… strange.

— Fast service — Beef Bun is amazing, sweet potato is ok — $ 3 seems a little expensive

The prices have gone up 50 cents since I first came here like 3 years ago? Still pretty good if you’re looking for something to fill your stomach for less than $ 6! My personal favorite is the purple bun — spicy pork! Pretty consistent for the most part. I miss when they had the mini buns though! I hope they bring those back one day…

Small kiosk in the bigger-than-it-looks food court in Korea town(immediate left as soon as you walk in). Nothing does the body good better than a few sticky buns after a couple of beers. Pretty straight forward menu; between two people got the bacon kimchi, beef, chicken curry, and red bean buns($ 10ish total). Took our food upstairs with small cups of sriracha and soy sauce. Amazingly big buns that fit in the palm of your hand comfortably with the ratio of bun to meat being more generous than I’ve ever seen before. Favorites were the chicken curry and beef items, amazingly flavorful(especially with a bit of sriracha). Bacon kimchi tasted good with the soy sauce, but I was expecting more bacon flavor than it really had, still tasty. Red bean a solid finisher for the meal. Great spot for some food/drink before karaōke. Though really want to try the other places in the court.

I only had one bun(sampled the bacon kimchi bun), but from what I experienced, it was pretty good! Service was super fast(because they had the buns ready when I ordered). The bun itself was flavorful and hot, although I thought it could be a little juicier/less dry. The buns are pretty big, and for $ 3 each, it’s not a bad deal. A few friends and I got one each while we had a bit of downtime and it made for a good snack. Tasty, but nothing out of the ordinary.

The buns are excellent. I got two pocket bunns — spicy pork and marinated beef. Service was fast and the quality was great. Buns were fluffy and delicious. Meat was flavored to perfection. Also came with this nice Asian coleslaw in the bun that provided a contrasting, cooler taste. Will come back!

This is me and my boyfriend’s to-go place whenever we are craving for buns, just want to grab cheap eats or whenever we are starving and can’t deal with the starvation any longer. Most of the buns have vermicelli in it which is the best thing about it. There’s a lot of flavor to choose from but my favorite is pork. The kimchi bun is too spicy for my taste but I think it would appeal to all spicy/kimchi lovers out there.

Yummmm! I didn’t even take a picture of the inside of my Pork Bunn because it was so good! Ok actually, I’ve had way better buns like these in HK but this bun shop puts a unique twist on the buns that I really like. I got the pork because the cashier guy recommended it(nice guy! he also gave me a free custard filled fish pastry that was good) and expected it to be your usual pork and veggies inside. But nope, they have japchae(Korean noodle) and spices inside that make it so new and good. I tried taking it to the office but was so scared people would call me out on the smell so I scarfed it down. I was still caught though. Eh. No regrets. Definitely coming back to try the other favors!

Out of shape Bunn. I’ve passed this place many times and finally decided to stop in. Sweet potato and bacon kimchi buns seem promising and and if you want something more meaty, there is spicy pork, curry chicken, beef and a short rib option. I decided to have the spicy pork and chicken curry($ 3.00 each). The spice levels were spot on but both needed a bit more salt. The Bunn, which comes in different colors proves to be helpful if you aren’t into guessing which one you are eating. However, colors can’t save these buns-they were bland and a bit gummy. The filling were spot on in terms of spice but weren’t juicy. They shouldn’t need support from soy sauce and sriracha. Those are the extra to enhance the flavor. However, I felt the need to add more soy sauce make the buns palatable. The portion is decent. If you wanted a snack, 1 is sufficient and 2 if you are hungry and/or having dinner on the go. Next time, I’ll take my chances and have a dirty water dog.

Very tasty buns. Got the beef and spice pork. They were out of short ribs sadly. Buns are cheap and interestingly I was filled sheet having just two. I did buy two more to go. hunger always finds a way to return. I like the sweet slaw used. I have to return to try the short rib buns in the future.

Hmm, not bad, not great, but perfect for a quick snack. I’ve only ever had the steam buns from here, and they don’t muster more than a «Not bad» reaction out of me, ever. I only ever order the non-spicy ones, but that doesn’t excuse them from lacking flavor and salt. The bun bread itself is exactly as expected, so no complaints there. The sweet potato one comes in a whole wheat bun, which tastes more healthy than I would have liked. I’m not sure it was necessarily a good combo with the sweet potato, but the bun itself seems to add more flavor than the actual filling does. Not much else to say on this front, except the buns were served hot, the service was friendly, and the shop front is right by the front door of the gallery for easy access. I wouldn’t come out of my way to get food from here, but if I’m within two blocks and in a hurry, this would probably be one of my go-to’s.

The price isn’t bad. With two buns, you have a satisfying meal(this coming from someone who are this after a 2hr workout). The pork is a mixture of pork veggies and noodles, in a soft mix covered in a warm chewy bun. Don’t expect a pattie inside of it. Flavors were ok but nothing memorable. The sweet potato bun was actually more memorable to me. A simple sweet potato mash is inside a chewy bun. It’s a lot of filling and not too sweet so I was happy.

Come get your steamed buns and and your buns steamed. I’ve walked by Bunn dozens of times but was never in the mood to try out a bun. The window out front is always steamed up and it’s always so intriguing. I was luckily in the mood for something fast, cheap, and light the other night, and Bunn magically appeared in front of me. I opted for the pork bun and was surprised with a bun dyed a beautiful purple. Despite being pretty late at night, the bun was piping hot and wasn’t stale at all. The pork on the inside was a little spicy, although I could still top it with some sriracha and soy sauce. The combination of the pork and rice noodles made it deceivingly filling: it more than satisfied my growling stomach. I’m glad to know about another fast cheap eats option in Ktown. Between Bunn and Red Mango samples, I can get lunch and dessert in no time!

Although the regular steamed buns here are good, what you want to get are the pocket buns-they are just cuter and more yum. I think just overall, they have more flavor then the big boy buns. At a price of $ 5.75 for deux, this snack hits the spot when you are walking around K-Town and not in the mood for a full on meal, yet still want a few bites of Korean food. The Spicy Pork pocket bun is so dam tasty, my mouth waters just thinking about it! It is definitely my favorite bun offered. The Kimchi Bacon bun was good; however, there wasn’t much bacon in it. Nonetheless, i loaded up with the provided hot sauce and took that baby down! I hope Bunn starts offering some new flavors, because if im ever in K-Town; you better believe im gulfing down some pockets! P. S. They have punch cards(1 punch for every $ 5 spent; 5 punches = 1 free bun); bun fun for days!

Great place to stop for a steamed bun. They have a broad range of bun flavors. Keep in mind that it is a Korean bun place, as the flavors are different from other steam buns you may have had with a heavier emphasis on garlic and chives. The kimchi and curry chicken buns were nice and warm. I really enjoyed the flavors and the texture of the glass noodles. I love grabbing one of their buns and walking around in winter in a cloud of steam bun heat.
