Dont know why there are so many negative reviews. Just had the Kimchi bokeumbap/fried rice and it was pretty average, but decent. You get what you pay for, what did you guys expect?! Its 10x better than woorijip’s disgusting kimchi bokeumbap for similar pricing. Would come here again for quick kimchi fried rice fix.

Overpriced and diluted. I paid like 9 $ for my order(fish ball ramen soup with sausage, ham) and an employee was upping the price on the sign as my friend and I were waiting on line. Service was rude, even for a busy food court in NYC. My order came after maybe 5 – 10 min, but it was like half water, 45% ramen, and 5% fish ball/sausage/ham. There are SO many better places for Korean ramen/food around the food court. I only came here because my friend wanted their bulgogi(which looked decent). To their credit, we got rice and kimchi on the side but the rudeness, price, and quality of their food only warrants 2 stars.

I do not know why I keep coming back to this food court. I think I’m trying to give it a second chance too many times now. I like the complex a lot. The food is expensive for the quality of food you get. It’s more worth it to pay $ 10 more for better food. I tried almost all the vendors and was never impressed. It’s actually a struggle to finish my food and most of the time I leave unsatisfied. Jap chae was watery and salty. Tofu pot stew tasted like instant spicy soup. Will not come back to this one.

First of all, I love the Food Gallery 32. It’s a great place in Manhattan to informally enjoy reasonably priced Korean food in an easy and quick food court environment. It’s in the heart of Koreatown and there are many Korean fast-food eateries to choose from. One of the most popular is in a corner on the first floor and is called Korea House. They specialize in BiBimBap. I tried their bulgogi bibimbap platter and found it decent enough but the portion of bulgogi served was very, very small. Oh well, next time I’ll try a different Korean place in the food gallery.

Food in Korea is a communal experience. That’s why it’s so fun to eat in K-town as a group(think Korean BBQ). Conversely, this also makes it harder/more awkward to find a Korean meal on one’s own. In that respect, Korea House(and the other establishments in the food court) has got you covered. Came here after a long day studying at the midtown library and ordered the bulgogi bibimbap. There was no line and the food was ready in five minutes or less, but that’s likely because it was Sunday afternoon. The food is decent, not excellent(this is a food court, after all) but at least you get a fair amount(bibimbap with rice on the side, small bowl of soup, kimchi and pickled radish banchan) for $ 12 plus tax. Definitely found my place for Korean food when flying solo.

I’ve been craving bibimbop for the longest time after catching up on my kdrama marathon, so I thought I’d get the ground beef bibimbop. When my buzzer rang, I excitedly ran to get my food only to drown myself in a pool of disappointment. There’s this famous adage among chefs: the food has to satisfy your eyes, nose, and mouth. The food looked kind of nice because of the beautiful color palette of vegetables, but the portion didn’t even fill up half the bowl. If I’m going to order specifically the ground beef bibimbop, shouldn’t they give me more ground beef? They were short on the veggies too. The food needed more seasoning. It’s a given I couldn’t smell anything with the lack of seasoning.

Stopped by Food Gallery after work to grab a quick dinner. I was really craving bulgogi that night, but didn’t want to go through the hassle of sitting down at a restaurant. After looking through all the stores, it seemed like Korea House was my best bet. I ordered a large to-go(intending it for 2+ meals) and brought everything back home. First of all, for $ 17+ I’d expect either the portion sizes to be larger or better quality. It was upsetting when the beef tasted flavorless and overcooked. I do give them credit for packing all the side dishes for me even though I had ordered to-go; I would have been even more disappointed otherwise. I ended up making two unsatisfying meals out of my order. Mental note: never come again.

Located on the bottom floor of Food Gallery 32, Korea House is located amongst a host of other Asian fast food joints in this food hall. I’ve ordered multiple times here, all variations on the bibimbap, which is not particularly memorable, but does satisfy my hunger. For the price, I would like a tad more than a dollop of their beef. The meals do come with pickled sides, and soup. Overall, however, it is difficult to be too dissatisfied for the price and convenience this joint offers.

I’ve been eating at this food court for years and I can’t believe I never ate at Korea house. I ordered the Kimchi fried rice with eggs… It was super tasty. The meal also comes with a pickled vegetables, kimchi and soup. It’s a bit pricier than some of the other spots at this food court but I’ll definitely come back for this meal.

Got the always reliable no 6… but not so great here. Just didnt have any flavor. which is an anti-korean characteristic. Very surprised… but the food court no 32 is just a fun place to hang.

I was wondering why all of the low stars. Now I understand. Once you walk up to the counter in this little food court, you instantly notice the lack of personality of the people behind the counter. You know? When the guy behind the counter lacks confidence in the food they are serving, makes you wonder. I ordered Bulgoki Bibimbop and also the spicy pork dish. Pork came in sizzling platter, Bulgoki Bibimbop came in sizzling bowl as it should. Food is pretty average for Korean restaurants. Portions are sufficient and it comes with side of kimchi and string beans and some msg broth. However, the food is CHEAP! Still a great place for lunch, especially when you consider the other stores in the food court that have, sushi, frozen yogurt, noodles, pot stickers, etc…

Considering the fact that this is a tofu house in a food court it is very good! I got the tofu soup with pork. It came out ten minutes after I ordered and the dish came with rice and a side of kimchi and green beans. It was pretty decent. Definitely helped to satisfy my tofu soup craving. It was also decently priced. I payed about $ 9 for my meal. If you’re in the area and you’re craving tofu soup AND you are in a time crunch this is where you should go. If you are not in a time crunch, go somewhere else! You are literally surrounded by tofu soup places in Koreatown.

The advantage of an all-Korean food court is that no matter what dish you crave from the country, Food Gallery 32 almost certainly has it. I find myself generally guided by need for a naengmyun or ddeokbokki, and choosing the place inside that does this food inside the stall. On a recent evening the need was for spicy pork over rice, something I’d seen in a co-workers Instagram’s feed a few days before.(She’s Korean and able to make it at home. I’m not and can’t really cook.) I’m told this dish is called Daeji Bulgogi and after a few minutes fumbling around I found it on offer at Korea House, which is located in the back left of the first floor of the restaurant. There’s not discernible theme about these particular place, just a series of rice and noodle sets, some of which are available at other places in the mall, others not. It’s never had much of a line, but it has stuck around for a few years which is a reasonable sign. My recent experience was my first time eating there, and it was a solid one. Although I didn’t get a panchan — where is my kimchi? — the soup, pork and rice were a spicy and hearty portion for $ 10. The execution was flawless, on par with the other solid offerings at the Food Gallery. Other items of note for potential future cravings included kimchi rice and a japchae. Certainly worth adding into the food court rotation.

Ordered a galbi tang. The flavor of the broth was pretty good, though I would have liked for the soup to have a bit more vegetables in it. The waiting time was also a bit long for a quick-service restaurant.

The two girls working here tonight are not only rude and obnoxious, they think by making disgusting facial with one another and speaking Korean under their breath that I wouldn’t understand what they are saying! It’s not my fault that you are busy and that you hate your jobs! Don’t worry, if the owners keep you guys on board, soon you will not have a job to ridicule his customers with. Good luck to the person who owns Korea House, I have been here more than 3 times before but because of your two front girls, I will never be coming back and I will ensure that my friends won’t either!

So sad. Possibly the worst maybe mediocre at best. Ordered a large #26 marinated beef ribs and it was a disappointment. I paid $ 18.50 for a cheap quality food. I thought most K-town food was going to be good but I was wrong unless it was just a bad saturday night. First off, they confused my order with someone else who ordered bimbimbap, which was okay since I can tell they had their hands full, but did it have to be me when I’m hungry? And for a «large» not very large, I didn’t get a lot of meat, they were mostly bones. Rice okay, kimchi was pale and cheap, miso soup was bland. Marinated beef didn’t have that rich, savory flavor. Left a man unsatisfied, this place has no justice. :(

There is my favorite place in the Food Gallery 32. The food is good and the prices are good. The menu is a little bit confusing because there are so many similar items, so make sure you read the descriptions.

This is a great alternative for a fast meal, located in a food court in K-town with various other food stalls(steamed buns, Red Mango, a sushi place, Korean-Chinese place, etc.). There’s also a good amount of seating located in the upstairs area and this food court mall is open until midnight. If you are looking to order a heated stone pot of bimbimbap(dolsolt bimbimbap), be sure to order the correct number. This place also serves a variety of cold bowl bimbimbaps, so just be careful when ordering! The dolsot bimbimbap(#6) came with soybean soup with napa cabbage, kimchi, and burdock root pickles. The meat is pretty skimpy for the portion. While it’s definitely not the best Korean, given the area, price, and speed, this is a pretty decent deal of a meal. Prices here are the same for lunch and for dinner, so for dinner, it’s a much better deal. The stall will give you a pager, so it’s a pretty nice system. This food court does have a water fountain, but doesn’t provide cups(they provide condiment sauce cups for drinking).

There was a long line here, so I figure it must be good. I had some stew from this stall in the food gallery 32. It was okay, but I didn’t think it was that great. It was ~$ 7 for a lunch portion. It came in a half full stone bowl which was nice, but I thought it was really lacking. It was a bunch of stewed veggies and greens with tiny bits of tripe and beef. It took a while for the food to come out, but the pagers allow you to walk around and check out other food stalls or camp out at the available seats upstairs.
