Late review. Better late than never. I was really impressed with how many food vendors were here in the middle of 34th Street Herald Square. There are so many options here and there are so many variety to eat. I wanted to try them all. What I was able to try was the mini donuts from Doughnuttery. If you watch how the donuts are made, it is entertaining to watch. The machine is right in front of you. Almost cute to watch. Mini donuts coated with flavored powdered. Your choice on what you want powdered over the donuts. I recommend getting the Fruity Pebble. It was quite yummy. I also tried Salmon Sushi Burrito from the Hai Street Kitchen. It was filling, spicy, flavorful, and amazing. I also had some arepas there and that was okay to me. Got the Wafel & Dinges. I think pretty much we all have tried Wafel & Dinges. You can’t go wrong it. Heavenly good. Broadway Bites is a great way to try out some of the food before going to the actually place, but it is a little pricey for street food standards. I hope they come back next year, because I want to try out more and maybe expand it with more vendors.

This was literally something I stumbled upon as I was trying to find Koreatown for some dinner during my summer in Manhattan. What I appreciated about the concept of Broadway Bites was that I was able to sample small bits of food from different places without having to travel all over Manhattan to do so! I got the lemonade, some Asian Fusion, some treats from Momofuku, and more. Everything I got was high quality and freshly made, and the experience of just eating it while being right across the street from some of my favorite shopping places and Koreatown was an awesome experience for me. I met some really cool food vendors while I was here as well. While it is pretty busy during peak meal hours and seating is not abundant, it is a pretty cool venue right smack near Macy’s and Koreatown. I would definitely come back here next summer if I’m ever in NYC!

I love the selection at Broadway Bites. A good variety of cuisines and fusion flavors and pretty much every store has a vegan/vegetarian option! So impressed with that: D Prices are $ 8-$ 12 per standard entrée which some may say is pricey for«street» food. For me it is okay– kinda like eating from a food truck or any other novelty food store. I went to both sessions of Broadway Bites– in the summer and fall. Since it is all day and runs for a good amount of time it was never terribly crowded when I went. Conveniently located right around Herald Square, it was accessible as well. A fun place to go with friends when everyone wants something different, and if you want an outdoor setting on a nice day! Seating can be limited but you can always grab the food to go and eat it somewhere else. I will definitely look out for when Broadway Bites is back and for other urban space events! Only thing I’ve noticed is that with all the urban space events, the vendors stay more or less the same. So it can be good if you are a fan, or you might want more variety.

I was so pleasantly surprised to see Broadway Bites alive and thriving when I was checking out my girl’s new apartment in Midtown. This outdoor food market has stands representing so many of the city’s food highlights. Imagine the smile on my face when I realized that I could get all of my favorites all in one place right down the street. Here’s my most recent list of favorites: Wafels & Dinges ** Arancini Bros Bangkok B.A.R. Red Hook Lobster Domo Taco Onigiri by Tampopo Doughnuttery Jicama Paella Shack Hai Street Kitchen Asiadog Great location to get something to eat in between your shopping extravaganza in Harold Square. Plenty of outdoor seating available; I didn’t have to fight off anyone(expect for the pigeons) to find a seat to enjoy my food. NOTE: now closed for the winter

Foodie Heaven on Earth !!! I drove by on my way to the Garden and said I have to go there! So I found myself walking around like a kid in a candy store. It was so great. If my stomach wasn’t so full after trying 5 of the vendors, I probably would’ve spent the whole day, as well as all of my money over here lol So many different types of food. Food truck type set ups from different local restaurants. It’s such a cool concept. I’m like a foreigner everytime I go into the city and this was such a pleasant surprise because I didn’t even know it existed. I started off with FIREBELLYKOREANBBQ& got the double fried chicken wings(2 orders of 2 wings for $ 8/$ 4 for 2 wings– one order with the fire belly sauce and one with the sweet soy). I also ordered the sesame chicken taco for $ 4. The wings were really good however the spicy ones didn’t pack the punch I was expecting with a name like Fire belly. I figured my mouth would be on fire with spice but it was quite the opposite. The chicken taco was ehh – lacking flavor in the chicken but still pretty good. REDHOOKLOBSTERPOUND was two vendors down and I couldn’t pass up on that lobster roll. It was calling my name. I decided on the ¼ pound Lobster BLT Roll for $ 14. The lobster roll was yummy however the actual roll I feel is too small. The bread was fresh and soft and amazing. The lobster was good and they put a lot in it so that was a good thing. Made my way down to JICAMA and the idea of a pulled pork slider on a donut seriously made my mouth water. The pork donut slider was $ 14. Now I don’t know why they even call it a slider because when I think slider I think this little mini thing and I got a full sized sandwich. I was not a fan of this – even though the presentation was cute with the little umbrella in it I was expecting more. The flavors was really not there and I actually felt like out of all the places I wished I skipped out on here and left room for something else. It was super messy and the guy made me take a fork because even he said even though you’ll try it will be impossible to eat it like a sandwich :/annoying ! WAFELS&DINGES caught my eye because that’s the one place I’ve heard of before. I decided to get the Bacon & Syrup wafel & I immediately fell in love. I swear I had a foodgasm. Never in my life did I savor a waffle like that. Ever lol I bookmarked the restaurant and I can’t wait to go next time I’m in the city! My favvvvvvvv!(Insert 100 heart eye emojis) I now dream of this waffle lol Last but not least, I ended my feast off at CHEESESTEAKSBYTHETRUFFLEIST. As a former resident of Philly I just couldn’t resist a good Cheesesteak. The girl made an exception for me and allowed me to get 2 different flavors. I tried the NY cheesesteak on one half and the spicy one on the other half for $ 14. The steak was good but not the best I’ve had. I wasn’t a fan of the bread. Too crunchy and hard to chew. All in all, I have an amazing experience here. Like I said, it’s foodie heaven. I’m not sure how long it’s going to be going on but I’m glad I got to experience it. I want to starve myself for a day then come here and go crazy lol. Oh I forgot to mention how quickly everything adds up. I spent a lot and didn’t even notice lol. Greedy me

This review is for one of the vendors, Hai Street Kithen: The people at who work the stand are incredibly rude however try not to let it deter you from ordering their impeccable food. Why it took someone so long to think of making sushi«burritos,» I have no idea, but they finally have, and it’s delicious. Check out their salmon roll and make sure to add some wasabi guacamole! The pickled jicama in each of their rolls really completes it. They accept credit cards!

This place is great! As it may be hard to write a review because it’s always changing with seasons. Basically it’s a medium size of the street portioned off devoted to foodies! There a 50 plus food truck like vendors from local restaurants. Each vendor varies, but I noticed each one having a selection of 4 or 5 items per vendor. Seating here is hard to come by, be prepared to bring a reusable grocery bag, to take it else where to eat. Lots of great, unique choices here! It’s also a great place to take a large group of people with different likes, everybody can find something to like here! All the vendors I visited, had the Sqaure account, so you can use your credit card.

This place is so awesome and varied that it really is hard to write a detailed review… Basically is a a bunch of food trucks or food stands side by side, providing a large selection of foods. Want seafood, empanadas, Italian desserts, waffles, sandwiches, panini, cider, sliders, korean bbq tacos, pad thai, chocolates, grilled cheese, cannolis,??? Anyway… you get the picture… Lots of great choices, lots of great flavors. Broadway Bites is a project under the UrbanSpace project, which began in London in 1972. During its 40+ years of existence, the company has revamped derelict city spaces, conserved heritage buildings, and created vibrant new places for community and commercial gathering. The formula: imaginative promotion, close involvement with the arts and, above all, nurturing of small business. The space in NYC is just fun, colorful and vibrant. This is a seasonal food court, so please check on dates and business hours. I have to cut and paste the list of food vendors, otherwise, I know I would miss someone… so you can choose from… THEGUMBOBROS TACOBONO ZHAPANASIAN * HAISTREETKITCHEN * PAELLASHACKBYBARRACA BROOKLYNWOKSHOP * PALENQUECOLOMBIANFOOD * ONIGIRIBYTAMPOPO * JICAMA«CALIFORNIASTREETFOOD» * GELATOTIAMO ASIADOG * BANGKOK B.A.R. * DOMOTACO * CHEESESTEAKSBYTHETRUFFLEIST * FIREBELLYKOREANBBQ * TWOTABLESPOONS * BARSUZETTECRÊPERIE MACARONPARLOUR * WAFELS&DINGES * SIGMUND’S * HILLCOUNTRYBARBECUE * BARILLARESTAURANTS * ANOOSHFINEFOODS * BOLIVIANLLAMAPARTY Seating could be hard to find, as there are only a few tables scattered around the open area. Prices are a bit high for what you get, some food stands are better deals than others…

Broadway Bites is more of a food court than an individual restaurant. There are a lot of options and all of them seem hipster and innovative. Don’t expect a good ol’ hamburger here, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I had a Sushi Burrito from the Hai Street booth and it was delicious. I wish there was more seating area and more hand sanitizer or a place to wash your hands.

Broadway Bites offers a variety of food options with the convenience of being close to penn station. Please be aware that it is an outdoor food court, so plan accordingly. Also, seating is fairly limited. There were about a dozen or more vendors but only about thirty tables. The selection is pretty similar to most of the other food courts in Manhattan. You’ll find Palanque Columbian, Asia Dog, Bangkok bar, and red hook lobster amongst others. We opted for Cheesesteaks by the Truffleist. It was a very unconventional cheesesteak. The meat didn’t have that thin choppiness nor the fried onion flavors that I’ve come to expect. It reminded me a little bit of the chicken cheesesteak from Ishkabible’s in Phily in terms of toppings.

This is the foodie paradise! It’s rolls of food court/food truck smashed in a little square. You can find pretty much any type of cuisine that you are looking for. It’s right between Koreatown and Herald Square.

This was the perfect place to unwind after my friend and I left the pride parade. After hours of standing, our legs were in pain and we just wanted to sit down and eat. We managed to find a table despite the fact that we were in one of the higher tourist traffic areas. Even though the prices were not crazy great, the fact that almost two dozen restaurant and baker-related vendors were in one place, made me curious to look at a bit of everything and see what caught my fancy(Note that only a third of the area is cordoned off for alcohol consumption and drinks cannot be carried out of that area). Asiadog made the best charcoal, angus burger I have had in a long time. In addition to being perfectly cooked medium rare, the burger had an almost a sweet, subtle flavor although it was topped with kimchi, lettuce and nothing more. The small handmade beignets from the Doughnuttery were soft and buttery and although I split six small, Cacao baby-flavored ones with a friend, after eating one, I regretted that decision. Although the portions appeared small, the chocolate and marscopone gelato from Italy-based Gelato Ti Amo was refreshing and complex and tasted legitimate, such that it reminded me of gelato I have had in Italy. I am likely returning next weekend. See you there.

At first I thought the setup for Broadway Bites was kinda narrow and awkward. But after visiting it a few times, I like it better than Madison Square Eats. There’s enough space for people to walk around without getting smushed and more seating(i think?). Also its a little bit«healthier» with the trees and the Dark Green color of all the booths makes me feel like im walking through an urban forest with string lights(maybe I’m crazy for thinking that). Anyways, the booths are almost all the same as Madison Square Eats. Some new additions that stuck out to me were Enfes Turkish food &NOLA Sno. Also Asia Dog does not have the half watermelon cocktail which is really sad because its summer & I really crave that. Anyways some vendors I though were cool were Mason Jar which has a fried green tomato sandwhich, the Paella Shake, and I love Two Tablespoon especially if you are looking to eat healthy. I was feeling like a rebel after visiting the doctor so I went with Macaron Parlour and got a macaron red velvet ice cream sandwhich which was a perfect texture & size but I felt the flavor was a little off. Also the presentation was a little sloppy. I’m used to macaron bakeries putting their goods in cute little bags advertising their business. They also have a tie dye salted caramel macaron ice cream sandwich which they were out of that way. Overall, I definitely recommend Broadway Bites if you are in the neighborhood, especially as a sugar rush to boost your spirits before a commute home

This teeny slice of Manhattan has always been one of my favorite places to get some street food! I mean, they’re not street food prices so don’t get that twisted, but it’s street food nonetheless. I mean, it’s food. Being sold. In the middle of the street. See where I’m coming from? Last time I was here, I decided to treat myself to an Arepa and a Margarita. I wish I could remember what the stands for each one was called. but I’m a rather forgetful individual. Sorry about it. The Arepa was delicious! Although I gotta say that it was a little too hard for my test and lacked in a good amount of cheese, it was delicious nonetheless. It was topped with cheese, chicken, arugula, cilantro, and onion. It was all cooked perfectly, I mean besides the corn arepa itself. Then again, that’s just me being very picky as always. Now for the Margarita. Ok. Here’s the thing. I love a good margarita. Tequila happens to make me very popular. This margarita is DANGEROUS. And here’s why: it is beyond sweet. Like wayyyyyy too sweet. I felt like it as 90% sugar, 10% tequila. I thought I was going to get a sugar-high if anything, but low and behold, I was wrong. The tequila in that hit me like a 16-wheeler smashing into a Smart Car right on the interstate. I was gone. My friends enjoyed escorting me around the city afterwards to say the least. The thing I love most about Broadway Bites is the whole atmosphere and idea of it. You can get anything you want there. Cajun, Thai, Turkish, French, Colombian, all while eating under some fairylights and some trees in the middle of New York City. This place is definitely on my NYC Foodie List and I vow to try every stand there, as well as be a frequent customer at the Margarita stand.

Been wanting to visit this place during a lunch break and I finally had an easy day where I could take off and enjoy a variety of places. Food: I started with Arancini Bros. I loved these rice balls. We chose the deal 3 for $ 5. I had one cheesesteak, one buffalo, and one Mac and cheese. All were great with a good siZe and perfect amount of filling. Next we moved to Asiadog where we had the corn dog. Great batter and flavor on this corn dog. The dipping sauces were great too. It comes with this mayo based sauce which is great and I loved the jalapeño mustard as well. I stopped at the cannibal tent because I love beer and have been to their bar plenty of times. Had a nice can of Bell’s Two Hearted Ale. Perfect match to the food we were having. Finally, stopped at Mexicue where we had the burnt end nachos. These were really flavorful but I like my nachos with a better meat to chip ratio. Overall, you can’t go wrong with this area. They have so many places for you to enjoy and I’m planning on going back for the others.

I came in totally by accident and left very pleased! I got the downeast bisque & the Maine lobster roll, both divine! They traveled from Greeley Sq to Astoria with me on the train 1st& they were still very tasty. The lobster roll was perfect, nice little seasoning & fresh lobster, two thumbs up. The soup was good too, no grit & a little spice, very tasty. I def recommend either one!

After wandering through all of Broadway Bites I landed in front of Morris Sandwich Shop and chose it based on the enticing smell alone. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and recommended the Big Trouble in Little China($ 10) because it was«loaded with a lot of pork» — done! Three minutes later my pile of braised meat sandwiched between thin round toasted flatbread pieces was ready. The first couple bites were a tad dry but the pork had great flavor and once I hit the middle with the pickled cabbage, hoisin and mayo it all made perfect sense. The menu calls this«Szechuan braised pork» but it’s not spicy at all, I did sense a fragrant smokiness that was vaguely Chinese-ish. Thankfully I was tackling this beast with a friend, it was a lot of pork to take down in one sitting but tasty and well worth the price. I’ll likely try more of the menu in future visits to Bites this summer.

This year’s selection isn’t nearly as good as last years. I counted maybe 3 – 4 Mexican and Asian places each this year that served almost all the same type of stuff. Most of the sandwiches and larger meals go for $ 10 – 12 here and smaller stuff is around $ 5 – 7. Arancini — 3 rice balls for $ 5 — pretty good deal. Had the Mushroom, pesto, and buffalo chicken. All very good, would try again. Asia Dog — pretty small hotdog with sauces and toppings on it. I got the Vinh Dog which has the most toppings. It was good but still a bit disappointing for the $ 5 price tag. Zha Pan Asian Tried the asian fusion rice balls. 4 for $ 7. They had spicy Kimchi-Popper and Char Siu(BBQ Pork). The K-Popper ones were excellent but the Char Siu ones barely had any filling. Great presentation though Nola Snow I love snow cones. They have 3 sizes starting from $ 4 – 6. I got the medium which was a pretty decent size. A big selection of homemade flavors but they are definitely not as strong/sweet as the professional grade syrups. I asked to mix 3 flavors and the dude(nice guy by the way) literally mixed them all on top of each other… I was kinda hoping I’d get them side by side. Not bad overall though. Ill continue to update this list

Broadway Bites is a bit of dream come true. Anywhere that combines a whole lot of different foods in one fairly small area, I am IN! Asia Dog was one of the places I tried and although the stands/restaurants don’t have that many stars, I must say that I had a good experience with it. It was good, different, and you can always win me over with pickled onions. You’ll see me here again!

Broadway Bites is a seasonal pop-up market in Greeley Square Park, located about a block away from K-town. UrbanSpace hosts events such as these, where they use a city space to showcase local artisans and business owners’ products. They are only open until 11/14, so if you want to check out a plethora of vendors, such as Domo Taco, Brooklyn Wok Shop, the Gumbo Bros., Palenque, Onigiri by Tampopo, Chutney, Asiadog, Gelato Ti Amo, Bangkok Bar, Mimi and Coco, Roberta’s, Arancini Bros., Seoul Lee Korean BBQ, etc. All the vendors were friendly and were excited to share their products with you. A cute event to check out if you’re in the area to have a variety of eateries available, all in one place, to check out! +until 11⁄14 +open 11AM-9PM daily +off of 33rd and Broadway(1 block from K-town_

You name it, they def have it! Verdict: dé-li-cieux! Mon seul regret est de l’avoir fini trop vite tellement c’était bon.
