Tasty cold brew and meaty roast beef panini! Great cheese bread and meat ratio

Stumbled upon this place on the way, so because of Unilocal decided to try it. I got the honey lavender latte. Latte art was cute, but latte itself was OK. Tasted subtle hints on lavender and honey. The milk was freshly steamed. But to me coffee is all about flavor, and this was kind of bland, like a regular latte. They gave us a free croissant since we walked in about 10 mins before closing.

Having a $ 5 minimum for credit cards but not posting it at the front counter next to the giant tip bucket is bullshit. It would not ruin your business to offer a one time exception for a first time customer who only had $ 0.50 on her. Asking if I want a snack and motioning to the display of tiny, overpriced muffins did not help. A repeat visit to this cramped, poorly ventilated space will not happen.

Happened to walk by this morning and decided to grab a cup. Very good coffee and inexpensive. Would’ve given a higher rating if not for the person who helped me(not very friendly and wanted cash instead of my card something about it being only 3 bucks??, I didn’t see a sign saying there was a minimum or cash only place) and the layout of the shop isn’t very good I thought there was a line when there really wasn’t one.

$ 9 for a cold turkey and Brie sandwich. 2 slices of turkey, one thin piece of cheese, two thin slices of tomato, and lots of greens. The greens overwhelmed the sandwich. Service is friendly, the tables are tight, and overall decent.

Worked here for a few hours in the morning on a Monday and saw that the place got a lot of customers consistently! I got their iced coffee and a blueberry muffin. I soon realized that this was not the typical order that most regulars were getting! Almost everyone got a bagel as their breakfast, so while I can’t speak to how great it tastes, I’d definitely try a bagel from here! The seating area is small, but there are plugs so you can work on your laptop or charge your phone if needed! It started getting a bit crowded around 11AM, so if you want to grab a seat, come early!

I’ll be honest? I was on my way to Zucker’s when I found Blue Spoon Coffee and very glad that happened this review is for a plain and simple cup of coffee and a banana nut muffin as for the plain and simple coffee not plain at all, in fact very very good! not everyday that you enjoy a good cup! and the banana nut muffin, well? just what a banana nut muffin would taste like!!! would like to thank the Baristas, very attentive and friendly!

Cute establishment but small. They do have some seating, but not a place you can necessarily sit and write your next NYT best seller. No public bathroom. I got an iced tea. It was fine. Lots of people in the back working. It was pretty packed when I was in there.

What to get: — Vanilla, raspberry Italian soda — honey lavender latte — iced chai What was ok: — lavender Italian soda(really strong flavor) — very small space, no place to sit and relax

I love it here, it’s a bit small but very cozy and homely. absolutely adorable with so many choices! I got the honey lavender latte, blueberry yogurt, and cranberry muffin totaling up to about $ 13 which is a great deal. latte was pretty good(they even asked if I wanted a porcelain cup or cup to go), yogurt was a little eh, and muffin was a tiny bit dry but perfect with the latte. definitely coming back!!!

Great little spot for a snack & excellent coffee. GO! Such a rarity in this neighborhood full of fast food & so-so delis. Charming, too. A gem!

HIpster coffee shop – but the prices are not AS bad… At $ 2 and change, a basic 12oz coffee is about a dollar less than some of the other trendy coffee places around the area. That said, i think I still prefer some of those other places. Perhaps I will change my mind if I ever go back for the sandwiches. As some have mentioned, the place is hard to find – it’s next to Tasti D Lite in that weird part between TriBeCa and FiDi, and is small and cute. There are various sizes of mirrors hanging on the walls, giving it a vintage thrift shop air. The server was prompt, and there was no line at around 4 in the afternoon. My iced latte was strong – the ice did not water it down, which is a common problem I have found with iced coffees, regardless of how high-end the beans are. I thought the contrast between the hip décor and the casual, not-at-all-affected feel of the place would make it somewhere I’d enjoy going if it was closer to my office.

Needed to do some business downtown and it was done much quicker than expected, which led to «hey, let’s get a cup of *good* coffee, where should we go?» Unilocal recommended this joint, and when Unilocal recommends something, they’re usually on. point. Blue Spoon was no exception. It had a steady flow of people, as it was just after 9AM on a weekday morning, but the friendly staff kept the orders coming so the small space didn’t get filled to the brim. The beau and I were able to grab a seat and leisurely sip our coffees, all while feeling incredibly underdressed in our casual clothes. The coffee was fresh and well-brewed, and the muffin we had was also really delish, if a little bit pricey(understandable for the area). I’m not near City Hall that often, but I’m keeping this place in my back pocket for when I am around and in desperate need of some good java.

A small coffee hipster cropping on Chambers Street, Downtown Civic Center that can be very easily overlooked when walking. It also offer sandwiches and Panini starting at $ 8.25, salads at $ 8.50. Extremely overpriced. They offer my favorite-chocolate chip at $ 1.00 each. A loyalty card is available. Intelligentsia is available.

Blue Spoon is my new spot. I am in the area 10 days per month for work, and I am relieved to have found a place that has fresh non-chain food. Paninis are delish. I like the turkey and brie with honey mustard or the salami with provolone and red peppers. They kindly allow me to substitute greens and tomato for the red pepper. Turkey chili is good too!

Small place, but packs a punch! After coming back from overseas I want to go to more local places rather than a Starbucks. I had their raspberry mocha with almond milk(which I was happy to have as an alternative to soy or regular skim!) and an extra shot of espresso. You can actually taste the coffee rather than a watered down commercialized coffee. I hope they expand since the place is rather small. It’s good as a lunch spot but they close at 6, so you can’t really get anything after work unless you have a 9 to 5.

Super cute! Food was delicious. Its tiny and cramped but there was room to sit with a friend and catch up. Even during lunch time. Staff are friendly but human. Not Starbucks automatons! Excellent coffee.

Blue spoon NY: Manhattan: TriBeCa 2pm Friday 8th August 2014 Four Stars This coffee shop is fairly small seating 12 people comfortably. The blue and white interior gave a nice upscale look to the place. I had a cappuccino($ 4) to stay, which is the nice way of saying for here. The Coffee was the Black Cat Espresso from Intelligencia. The roast had a dark nutty flavor. The Foam was thick and creamy and sat nicely atop of the brew. There was plenty of steamed milk, which gave an overall mellow flavor. As I sat read my book, I heard the employees talking/yelling/arguing. Apparently somebody’s significant other was slightly intoxicated one evening and may or may not have slapped another employee for no reason. It was slightly awkward experience that made the two ladies next to me leave. However they were still very courteous to the customers.

Small, but quaint coffee shop right by the subway. Super convenient. Besides coffee, they have an assortment of bagels and pastries(from Ceci Cela and Balthazar-2 of the best!). Got an actual large iced coffee for $ 3.50. Great price and the coffee hit the spot.
