To be plain, I had high expectations and the food just fell short. I’ve been to BLT Steak and based on both the food quality and service, I was excited to check out BLT Burger with my friends. The food overall was not bad, but it was not memorable either. We started out with the pigs in a blanket as well as the jalapeño poppers. The pigs in a blanket were really tasty(we asked for the mustard and sauerkraut on the side. The poppers were a bit limp/soggy but still good. As for the entrees, I ordered the philly while my date ordered the BLT Burger. Her burger was definitely the better of the two in terms of taste and accompaniments. Sadly, the pickle provided lacked that sour twang and the waffle fries, while crispy, were far from warm. Ultimately, I left a bit disappointed mostly because of my expectations. Should my perception have been different if I hadn’t been to BLT Steak? Perhaps. But things like cold fries and non-sour pickles speak for themselves.

Pretty fun place, the burgers are pretty good, not the best but good. The spiked milkshakes are awesome though, not too thick either which is good so you don’t get all bloated. I would definitely go back to try the other stuff on the menu. The service was good also.

The BLT burger(+ monteray jack cheese and fried egg) is my all time favorite burger. Had it as a combo with the rocky road/mocha mudslide shake(minus marshmallows and replaced chocolate ice cream with coffee ice cream). I don’t know which was better, the burger or the shake. But both were really really good. I also remember they had no problem tailoring the milkshakes to my preferences. Full disclaimer: I had this burger over 5 years ago(from date of review), but I’ve always described to friends as the best burger I’ve ever had along with the best shake to compliment. But now, I might have to go back and revisit since I’ve had so many delicious burgers since then. Also, I remember going with some dear college friends whom I hadn’t seen in a long time and had a superb time catching up, so that may have biased the experience.

I’ve come here several times because I love it so much. If I leave directly from work I’m right in time for the last hour of happy hour. Great beer(I love the Vanilla Porter) and $ 2 sliders(The one with blue cheese, excellent) which if you get 3 – 4 of hit the spot. Aside from happy hour the food is really really good. The turkey burger is so moist, which turkey burgers always run of the risk of not being, and everything in the burger compliments it. The waffle fries are GIANT. So if you get them on the side(I totally recommend it) split it with a friend or two. Sweet potato fries are also to die for. Service has always been great, and I’ve always loved my waiter or bar tender when I’m there. Really wonderful little place for a dinner with friends. Not very large, and it does get loud, but I don’t mind it!

Good but not great and quite pricey. I got the BLT burger, which is a burger even though it says BLT. It was pretty good but the BLT burger was 11 something, while a classic burger was $ 9 and you can add bacon for $ 1.50… why… also the milkshakes were pretty good but, like I said, a bit pricey. Not my favorite but if we were in the neighborhood I’d probably go back.

Best buffalo wings hands down, burgers are pretty good as well. The place never seems to be crowded but no complaints here

Put off by the 1.5 hour wait at Umami Burger, we came to BLT Burger instead and were not disappointed in the least! We were able to be seated immediately at around 9:30pm on a Friday night. The restaurant was half empty. I had the«classic» burger, medium rare, with lettuce and tomatoes and BLT sauce on the side. It was perfect and juicy and reasonably flavorful. Not as flashy or exotic as Umami Burger, of course(and that is still the most amazing burger I’ve ever had), but I was really happy with it. I didn’t like the fries very much… there was a double layer of fried-ness that I don’t like. They have spiked milkshakes. Our waitress was really nice and helpful in offering suggestions.

I came here alone while on vacation in NYC. I had the Maytag Blue burger, fries, and a root beer. The burger was cooked to medium perfectly and had great flavor; you could really taste the quality of the meat. I enjoyed the caramelized onions on the burger which were a nice touch. Overall the burger was about the burger and not tons of toppings that mask the flavor. The fries were solid and the root beer quite satisfying. The service was acceptable if not erratic. I’m not sure the right hand knew what the left was doing, but it wasn’t a huge issue. At least they came by whenever I needed something. What did shock me was the $ 22 bill for a burger and fries for lunch. I guess that’s the West Village price I’m not accustomed to paying, but for a really good meal I can’t complain much.

Came here with a group of 5 with everyone seemingly happy at the end of their meals. We started out with fried pickles, which were pretty good but there were only about 8 pieces in an order, which was a little disappointing. Fortunately, everything else was not disappointing. I got the turkey burger and I was worried it would be dry, as that is a frequent problem with turkey burgers. But let me assure you, it definitely was not. Instead, it was very very tasty. Along with the burger I had sweet potato fries, which were good, and the aztec mocha shake, which is what happens when all things that you should have in moderation(booze, coffee, chocolate) decide to get together and have a delicious party just for you. I tried other people’s regular fries, waffle fries, and onion rings, which all checked out. The server was also really friendly.

This place was amazing! A few friends and I decided to try out a new burger joint and we couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was super attentive. The atmosphere was completely mellow and comfortable. I ordered the Maytag Blue Burger(medium-well,) with sweet potato fries and a Stella. The quality of our food was excellent and fairly priced! BLT Burger is definitely not one of those restaurants where you are only checked up on 1 – 2 times during your meal. Our waitress was so friendly, constantly making sure the table was taken care of. Finished appetizers or plates are off your table in under a minute. Their staff is a prime example of proper restaurant management, exceeding the expectations of their customers. Looking forward to paying another visit very soon!

We went there around 6pm on Thursday. The bar was busy but there wasn’t a lot of people in the dining area. I guess they were going through a shift change because the waitress took over 15 minutes to come by. Then the service was a little better afterwards. I thought it was very overpriced and the burgers were small. The starting regular burger without cheese or toppings, without fries, was $ 9. They charge extra for cheese and toppings. For a burger place, they only had about 5 specialty burgers. BLT burger– It was OK, not worth $ 11. Meat was very tender and juicy. Waffle fries– standard Sliders– They were half of normal size sliders. BLT burger was OK. The BBQ was very dry, even with the good sauce. The blue cheese burger with mushrooms and onions was very good. It was the best one of the three. Onion rings– Pretty good. It wasn’t too oily and was cooked right: crunchy coating but sweet and tender inside. With the exception of draft beers, the drinks, including the milkshakes were also expensive, so we skipped out.

Went here after the fireworks on 4th of July. I love the seating arrangement, spacious. We sat in a booth. 4 of us split TWO«Grandma’s Treat» milkshakes — one of the spiked milkshakes! What a well done milkshake incorporating alcohol. YAY! We also ordered some beer, they have a full bar. I ordered the BLT Burger — very delish. The meat is delicious and was prepared exactly medium as requested. the ingredients are fresh and hot, and the burger rolls are soft. Very impressed by the atmosphere, concise/unique menu, and fresh food. My friends ordered the Philly Burger and the Maytag Blue — all enjoyed very much.

Super Aunt(that’s Me:) took my nieces(12&16) and nephew(14) here for lunch… Let me just say, that I never saw humans eat like that before. Each of their plates were clean as if they had licked them:)lol The homemade bun accented the juicy pack full of flavor burger wonderfully!!! One of those bites where you have to close your eyes and chew slow The service & food was great and I will be going back…

My fiancée and I were so impressed and pleasantly surprised when we stumbled upon this yummy spot! The décor and lighting was easy on the eyes considering we were there for dinner. I was greeted by the huge cow head in the back of the restaurant. Thank goodness neither him nor I am vegetarian. As there are loads of reminders of cows, name of meats from the cows diff. part of the body. Okay, enough with the décor talk. Let’s talk business, let’s talk food. The burgers were delicious. I ordered the classic burger and my honey the Special burger for the night. The buns are perfectly tasty. The SWEETPOTATOFRIES and WAFFLEFRIES were awesome! Only regret… Not trying the milkshakes. Will be there again soon!!!

Really fun diner-esque offshoot of the BLT restaurants. The space isn’t too huge, but it’s decorated with a bit of Americana flair. There are booths that line the walls, with tables in the middle of the room. I went with a friend on a Monday for dinner and the restaurant never filled to capacity. But I can imagine it on a Thursday or Friday night with a line around the corner. The burgers can be a la carte or part of a combo. Go for the combo, and choose the Waffle Fries. I opted for the Turkey Burger, which was perfect, and my friend got a beef burger. The burgers come with all sorts of toppings by default, so if you don’t want something, speak up. I also tried the Kobe Beef Pig in a Blanket appetizer, because I love a good hot dog. The puff pastry was super yummy. I ordered the Cookie Monster milkshake which had too much cookie in it for my taste. It was very good, but I wish I’d gotten something simpler without any additional toppings/ingredients.

My favorite burger place in NYC. The burgers are always cooked to perfection, and are very reasonably priced. Also, the fried pickles and fish tacos should not be missed… the fish tacos are especially fantastic — by far THE best in NYC(which is pretty amazing for burger joint). The wait can sometimes be annoying, but well worth it…

The perfect lunch: Jalapeño Poppers BLT Burger, Med Rare, with caramelized onions and Vermont Cheddar Mocha milk shake(coffee ice cream with oreos!!!) We waddled out stuffed! Service was great, burgers were mighty tasty, and we were full for a good 8 hours after!

When is Unilocal going to give you the ability to use half-stars? We put a man on the moon, can’t we have half-stars? Anyway, if I could I would rate BLT Burger 3 ½ stars… The space itself is nice, a decent number of tables but not overly noisy. The waiter was helpful and offered up his honest opinion on his favorite burger(he digs the salmon burger and their special Super Bowl themed burgers). I ended up going with their falafel burger, sans bun, and my friend went with the highly-touted Patriots Burger. I believe it came with frizzled onions on top and blue cheese. We also each got a side of sweet potato fries. In my opinion, the fries were the highlight. I kept telling myself to stop eating them but they were so good they sapped all my willpower. I literally felt sick the next day from eating so many of them. But I don’t regret it! I was less impressed by the burger. The falafel wasn’t especially memorable, and while it was covered in arugula I would have liked some more of the other toppings on there also. Also, I was bummed when we inquired about getting a drink without alcohol and the waiter said that wasn’t something they could do. They tout their cocktail list but can’t throw something together without alcohol? Not a huge deal but I thought he could have at least asked the bartender for us instead of shrugging off our request. All in all a good place to stop by with friends. It was about $ 40 for the two of us, two burgers + two fries. Seems a little steep but the service is good and did I mention the sweet potato fries?

I was craving a burger and fries and BLT Burger delivered. I ordered the Maytag Blue burger with caramelized onions, mushrooms and blue cheese — holy crap was it good! It’s not as big as most burgers but, to me, it was the perfect size so I wasn’t overly full. The burger was perfectly pink and waffle fries perfectly crisp. Our waiter was a little quirky which added to our fun girls dinner. We ended up sharing the brownie sundae for dessert which was also really good. Considering the burger itself was $ 13, I would’ve liked a side included rather than extra money, but other than that — this place was great.
