I have been going to BN on 72nd Street for 20 years and by far they give the best manis and pedis as well as massages. I moved and still go out of my way to visit this salon. I have never had a bad experience and my nails last!

I’m usually not one to let one review steer you away, BUTPLEASELISTENTOME. DO. NOT. GO. HERE. Stolen money, 5 rude people, a weak massage and already chipped nail job later, I regret my decision to treat myself already. I went in and they told me manicures were $ 12 today, and they’re usually very expensive so I was excited! After I picked my color and they finally acknowledged me again, they gave me a seat and I sat there for 10 minutes while the employees socialized. My nail artist finally started while another came behind me, started massaging while mumbling something about 20% off and when I asked if it would be extra, SHESAIDNO. SOSHEKEPTGOINGANDPUT A TIMERSO I TOLDHER I ONLYHAD24DOLLARSWITHMEANDSHESCOFFEDANDLEFT. My nail artist started laughing and she excused herself as the two of them and the manager blatantly started talking about me and my money in the front of the store. Now I am beyond annoyed and my nails are merely filed, but I stick it through. Before my nails were painted she gave me the bill and it said $ 12 but the lady said«that will be $ 16.» I figured the tip was 4 dollars and gave her a twenty. She went to the front, came back and kept all the money. She took an 8 dollar tip and didn’t even try to hide it, and a 12 dollar manicure turning into a 20 dollar one. She acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about when I said something so I just screwed it and let her finish my extremely bad manicure, which already looks messy 20 minutes later. The hand massage was weak(it also kind of hurt) and she put plastic gloves on me that genuinely cut off my circulation. Not only all this, but the other customers there are rude and some were visibly upset because the management messed up their appointment times and people who were supposed to be doing their nails. Save your time, energy and money and go to any other nail salon, this one will do you NOGOOD. please believe me.

STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE!!! WORSTEXPERIENCEEVER!!! Save yourself from the disappointment! I went to get a manicure at this place because it was the closest location near my job and I didn’t feel like waiting until I got home to go to my usual nail salon. Well do I feel stupid! They are absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE! I had 4 different ladies doing my nails and I got a Gel Manicure. Which requires attention and detail otherwise it becomes clumpy and uneven. Every time someone came in which ever lady was working on my nails would get up and assist the next person and another lady would come and take over my nails but not until 10 mins later! They are so ridiculously OVERPRICED you’re better off saving yourself the money and disappointment by going to another place. I paid almost $ 50 for a Gel Manicure is outrageously inexcusable! I would give this place ZEROSTARS if I could.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! The manager is VERY rude! I called and made an appointment for 4 people. We arrived on time. We sat on the massage pedi chairs… There are 8 pedi chairs… 4 are broken. The bubbles and massage machine was broken. Three(3) out of the 4 chairs that we sat on didn’t function). Seriously? For $ 50 a mani and pedi, I want what I am paying for… QuAlity service! This was very disappointing. The mani and pedi were mediocre. And manager! What a WITCH! I usually go to Jin Soon on E73 street. That’s a 5 star place!

Great place. June is the best there for gel and Nina is the best for pedis… so ask for them if you stop by. …Can only tip in cash

My girlfriend and I went here to get pedicures cost was $ 30 for a pedicure. I thought it was expensive but decided to do the service thinking that it had to be above and beyond a normal pedicure. There was NOTHING special about the pedicure, no extra massage, no great creams, lotions or extras. My cuticles were barely cut enough and it was fast and not thorough. They also ask you if you want«Quick dry» which is a shady way of getting an extra dollar or two on their tip. I find the places that use this technique to be very desperate and unprofessional– especially when the normal prices are high. My girlfriend got a 10 minute massage added on to her pedicure. which they charged $ 17 for. They also added 2 dollars tax on top of the astronomical prices for very basic at best services. This place is a total rip off and we will not return. PS. When I tried to use my Amex I was told that they only accept visa or mastercard which is a joke if they are trying to charge madison avenue prices.
