I have tried the crepes of this place and they are as fresh as they can get. Perfect taste, amazing and exotic combinations specially Nutella and coconut. Completely worth a try.

The review is for the Broadway Bites location! I’ve had an egg allergy all my life, so thanks to Bar Suzette’s egg-free/gluten-free crepes, this was my first ever crêpe experience. I don’t know what I imagined crêpe would be like, and I don’t know what crepes SHOULD be like — but this one was delicious, albeit somewhat unexpected. At first bite of the edges, it tasted kind of sour(??), which inevitably went away/got lost in the pool of chocolate and bananas near the middle. The crepes were also quite chewy like mochi, and that was quite unexpected. Also, I know that no one’s ever really said there’s too much chocolate, but in this case, there really was too much chocolate. It overpowered the bananas and everything else, so I sort of wish there was a wee bit less of it. But my main reason for docking a star is the price. I know that«Manhattan premium» is a real thing and that gf items tend to be more expensive, but $ 10+ for this one crêpe is I feel a bit much.

Absolutely delicious nutella & strawberry crepes. But, on the other hand, as long as you are competent at making crepes, and have nutella and fresh strawberries on hand, there’s no way you can mess it up, and the deliciousness is mostly attributable to the glorious existence of crepes, nutella, and strawberry on this good Earth, rather than the establishment’s skill. And $ 9 is kind of a lot to pay for a crêpe but this is Chelsea market.

Good crepes however knocking it down due to price! Crepes range from $ 7-$ 13 which I thought was a little pricy, especially for the sweet ones. I got a honey and almond and also a smoked salmon crêpe. The smoked salmon one was amazing, the slices of salmon were decent. It went well with the mayo and arugula. The honey and almond was on the lighter side, the almond gave this crêpe a nice crunch. The crêpe is thin and had a nice flavor. Both the two employees who made the crepes made them nicely.

I used to come here all the time to get the portabella mushroom crêpe. It used to be amazing. I tried it recently and it tasted super sour. It’s supposed to have balsamic glaze in it, but it just tasted like overpowering, old, strong vinegar. I miss the old crepes I used to get. Maybe I should have sent it back.

Decent crepes. Had a mushroom and balsamic glaze crêpe. Good and filling. Made fresh right in front of you.

Bar Suzette makes some amazing crepes! I absolutely love coming here whenever I’m in the city. For about $ 8 – 13, you can get anything from a sweet Nutella crêpe to a savory apple/brie crêpe. I’ve ordered most of crepes on the menu at this point and have not been disappointed by any of them. The Nutella or chocolate ones are always filled with just enough chocolate as to not be too sweet. The fruit inside is fresh, and they always have someone cutting up the fruit so you know you’re getting it at its best. The savory crepes are fill of leave greens and fresh fruits/cheeses/fillings to make you feel healthy and happy. I highly recommend to trying one of the savory crepes. Bar Suzette has great pairing, and if there’s anything you want to try, I’m sure they’d be willing to find one to fit your tastes!

Delicious Nutella and strawberry crêpe. Stopped by the Madison Square for some food and couldn’t resist this one. The crêpe was delicious and they did not skimp on the filling. Worth the stop!

On the weekend of April 8th my friend and I were in NYC visiting from Chicago. Because of our preplanned schedule we were limited on time. We stopped to the market on Sunday at about 6. We were really trying to try a crêpe since we saw all the reviews. We got to the venue half an hour before closing and the guys didn’t let us speak and told is they were closed. We really weren’t upset so we decided to stop in Monday morning right before we had to take off back to Chicago. We get to the restaurant in the morning and ask the guy if he is open and he clearly told us yes. We were waiting for him to take our order and he just started doing other things without taking us in mind. He was messing around with the tablet that is used as a register. He then went to what seemed to do inventory. He looked back to see if we were still there and without acknowledgement went back to do his other work. We waited a good 20 minutes and still no luck. The most frustrating thing was that the guy pulls out his cell phone and just begins to Facebook while we are still waiting to try this place out before flying back. We had no luck we stormed out and highly doubt that we will make it back when we return. Everything looks delish but that service was HORRIBLE.

While I was in NYC for a week, I probably had crepes from Bar Suzette 3 – 4 times. I never tried their savory crepes but I did enjoy the sweet crepes. My personal favorite was with chocolate, strawberries, and bananas. It was delicious. We went during an off time so we only waited like 4 – 5 minutes. Loved Bar Suzette and will definitely be back next time I’m in NYC.

Smoked salmon is love. Nice staff. Good ambiance. Cool place in Chelsea market. I’m a crêpe lover. Will definitely go back to this place.

We came here only for the Nutella hot chocolate — SOGOOD. Super rich and surprisingly filling. It does feel a little bit overpriced though, for $ 4 for a small cup. Very tasty however and the perfect thing for walking the High Line when it’s cold out. We did watch them make crepes which looked great but not anything extraordinary. They have a few seats which is nice particularly in Chelsea Market, and fun to watch them prepare the crepes in front of you.

Can’t decide between sweet or savory? Here is a suggestion: Get both! Bar Suzette has an expansive selection of sweet and savory thin pancakes stuffed with classic and unique fillings, such as almond slivers, fresh strawberries, and coconut on the sweeter side, and truffle hummus, goat cheese, and smoked salmon on the savory side. I recommend the Pesto Chicken crêpe, which is made with cubes of chicken breast tossed in nutty pesto sauce, asiago cheese, market greens, fresh tomato, and basil oil stuffed inside thin and crispy crêpe.

Located next to the Donuttery in Chelsea Market, there is a small bar to sit at and watch your crêpe being made. The crepes are handheld and made with thin batter and ingredients that tasted fresh. However it also had that annoying thing where there is a large layer of batter before you get to the fillings. I just tore all the extra batter off because it was pretty tasteless. A yummy crêpe, but nothing outstanding and not a must try.

Nestled and hidden within the Chelsea Market is the ever-so-busy Bar Suzette Creperie. We were in need of a good snack, and their delicious crepes fit the bill. Get a menu, try to make up your mind(there are so many delicious options!), your order and watch your crêpe be made on the large-round skillets while you attempt to find a stool at the bar-we were lucky enough to snag a few! Though it was hard to choose, we decided on the Pear, Walnut & Gorgonzola Crêpe which consisted Local Pears, Gorgonzola, Walnuts, Market Greens, Honey, Balsamic Glaze & Sage wrapped up on a large, thin crêpe. It was absolutely delicious and so full of flavor. We also tried the Coconut and Nutella Crêpe, which had just what the name says. It was tasty, but nothing unusual or different like the Pear, Walnut, & Gorgonzola crêpe. I can’t say much about the service of this place except for the fact that they were quite quick, which they had to be for as busy as they were. I look forward to trying more crepes here in the future!

Located in Chelsea Market, this was a recommendation of a friend of mine who lives in NY. I am so glad I listened. Bar Suzette offers both savory and sweet crepes but since I had already eaten lunch I knew I wanted sweet. At the suggestion of the staff I chose the lemon, butter, sugar crêpe and added fresh strawberries. I must say this was a perfect after lunch treat. It was conveniently packaged such that I could enjoy it as I walked the high line back to my destination. The crepes are made to order and prepared right in front of you. Despite the on the spot preparation, the wait was not long at all. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone stopping through the market.

Great crêpe! We got the mushroom with truffle oil. The gentleman making it was super nice and chatty. Great experience. Must try for sure.

Overall a very ‘meh’ experience. Crêpe had an abundance of nice, fresh ingredients(squash & goat cheese), but the crêpe itself was not what I am used to for crepes. It was like a pancake without any fluff, meaning smooth and fully browned, with a slight crunch, vs eggy/slightly spongey with spots of browning. The macarons were small and expensive for size and not nearly as good as what I’ve had elsewhere(in Cincinnati even!) Service was lacking. One lady working, and she needed reminded of everyone’s add-ons that I saw(«I also had a drink» «I had the lemon macaron too»). Further, there was a lemonade on display, but I watched two people ask for it only to be told they were out. One customer even suggested putting it out of sight, but she did not.

We were so fascinated with Chelsea Market that on our second go-around, we decided to stop by Bar Suzette. My initial thought was to order a sweet crêpe but after browsing through the options, me & my date both ordered savory ones. The one I had selected was the Truffled Hummus crêpe & my date got the Speck. As we had gotten there close to when it opened, it didn’t take them very long to get our crepes to us. After only the first bite, I thought there was something weird about the crêpe itself as it tasted kind of lemon-y. Even then I thought that it would get better with the veggies and hummus; it didn’t. My date had similar feelings about his crêpe. Nothing impressive. Considering all the choices in Chelsea Market, I’d probably try something different.

I usually come here for a dessert(sweet) crêpe after eating at Los tacos no.1 or the lobster place. It’s a good free place with a good variety of sweet and savory crepes. Their crepes are crispy and soft at the same time and they’re efficient in making their crepes. They usually have good ingredients and doesn’t take too long to get your crêpe. The portions aren’t too small for the price, also. The sweet crepes are good for sharing for dessert. But if you are a big eater and very hungry, I’m not sure if their crepes would be too filling. There’s nothing too special about this place but their crepes are always consistent and good. I would recommend you to stop by if you’re wanting something fast and simple to eat– both for a meal or dessert.

This was the worst crêpe I ever tasted. I wish I hadn’t spent so much money and waited so long for such a substandard product(one guy was operating two machines while another lady making drinks distracted him every so often with questions on how to do her job) You wouldn’t think strawberry, banana and nutella could taste bad, but when the base(batter) isnt great to begin with and not cooked properly you realize it is indeed possible.

Bar Suzette is a lovely stop for crepes in Chelsea Market, with caveats: (1) They make sweet crepes much better than their salty ones — the sweeter crepes have much strong and more even flavour throughout the crêpe. Unfortunately they don’t put a lot of stuffing in either kind of crêpe. (2) Are you having lunch with two other people, and have you ordered four crepes? This will be too much food for a «light lunch» and you will not be hungry at your 6:00 dinner reservation, and it will cost you over $ 50. (3) There’s a little counter if you want to sit, but it’s best to pick up your crêpe and go. It’s a lovely place for a snack, and always an option I give visitors when we go to Chelsea Market — but for myself, I can get crepes elsewhere.

Had the Montauk fish burger at Madison Square Eats. Luckily, we beat the lunch rush and were able to order quickly. They take their time making everything, but it’s worth the wait. It’s a bit pricey, but they take credit cards, so there’s that.

Sin palabras, las mejores crepes que he comido en mi vida, la chicken pesto es alucinante. El que venga a NY debe probar este lugar.
