Worst Chinese place in Manhattan and possibly the world. Legit worst lo mein I ever had. Tasted like grass from Riverside park. I called and complained and they offered a 10% off my next order. If anyone wants it lmk, because I’ll never order food again from there again. Dumplings were fair. Delivery guy was great though super fast and nice. Worst food though. Sorry, not sorry. –JG

Worst service on planet earth. We ordered delivery through Seamless/GrubHub, the estimate was 25 – 35 min, 2.5 hours later we still didn’t receive an order and they stopped picking up their phone. I wish I could give zero stars

Easily the worst Chinese food I’ve had anywhere. Ordered General Tso’s Chicken with Pork Fried Rice and Wonton Soup on Seamless. Over-fried and completely inedible«white meat» chicken, flavorless soup and dry fried rice. I didn’t know there could be Chinese delivery this bad. Now I know. Avoid like the plague.

I’d like to write a long-form Unilocal review full of my characteristic wit, but I can’t do it on an empty stomach. My stomach is empty, friends, because I could only handle two bites of the«Szechuan Style Beef» dish the delivery guy presented me not ten minutes ago. It smelled and tasted like actual garbage. Like soggy, disgusting garbage. I am so unhappy. Friends, please take my advice and go literally anywhere else.

I didn’t get the order I requested. When I called them, they told me $ 2 isn’t a good enough tip. If I want my full order I need to tip more.

While I like this place for their food, I just got my delivery less than 10 minutes ago and when giving the guy tip for the orders, he demanded I give him more tip, and when I didn’t he yelled: «F**k you, f**k you, f**k you.» and something else in Chinese. I paid for my meals via GrubHub. Then he gave me my bags and made a move as if he was going to drop them on the ground. I was just like«yea, alright, not ordering from here again.»

IIIHm… this maybe be one of those times when checking Unilocal can be quite handy. I decided to give this place a try on a late night after work, and order the Singapore chow mei fun with chicken. Note, they were having a special promotion of 20% of everything on the menu. I sense good efforts of advertisement. The guy was very polite, and my food was made rather quickly. Now, the Singapore dish is something that I normally get in a Chinese restaurant, and compared to the others, I would agree that it is more on the greasy side. Besides that, it also seems to be less of the ingredients such as the chicken and pork with the noodles. At the end, it was good but definitely not near the best that I’ve had. Four stars because I believe there’s potential to get better.

Ordered on Seamless. Thought it was pretty good. Pretty standard American-style Chinese fare. Ordered sesame chicken, kung pao beef, hot and sour soup, and pork fried rice. Chicken was good with a generous portion, beef was pretty decent, though lacked heat(and could have had more beef), rice was fine, and the hot and sour soup was delicious! Order came promptly and was hot and fresh. I appear to have had a better experience than most others.

FML. I was in the market for bad, greasy, cliché Chinese food. Like, I was scoping it out. It’s a bad day when you’re eating food and the whole time you’re contemplating the best place to blow it at work the next day. Let me preface this by saying I think Taco Bell is good quality, so let that be a temperature for you to take my quality standards. Fried rice… The pork was dry, and the whole thing smelled like the towel I use to dry off my dog. It was murky and weird. So I put that down. We ordered noodles. The noodles were good but the beef in it was WEIRD. I tried to chew it and it kept popping back into another form, like gum. Also, I 100% am not exaggerating when I say that there was a good centimeter of clear fluid at the bottom of the noodle dish. I drained out the plastic container, it was grease. I get it, Chinese food is greasy, but no joke this was about half a cup. 1 spoon of Canola oil is about 120 calories, so let’s do some math. Orange chicken was the shadiest thing I’ve ever seen and I take backroads. This wasn’t even chicken. No hyperbole. I thought it was raw, so I put it in my oven. But no, it wasn’t raw, it was cartilage. I don’t know how to explain it, there was no chicken meat in it. When I first took a bite I thought it was fish. Then I bit in again and got some weird chicken joint, cartilage, skin… I don’t know. All I know is that I threw it out, and I will eat pretty much anything.

Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I think my food was cooked weeks in advance. Horrible experience.

Zero Stars! DONOTORDERFROMHERE! Things that were wrong: 1. Estimated delivery time 30 – 45 minutes. My order took 90 min. 2. The chicken was SO hard that I broke 2 forks trying to take my first bite. 3. There was 1 piece of broccoli in my dish. 4. The fried rice did not contain a single vegetable. It was just mushy disgusting rice. I called for a refund and was told that a manager would get back to me «when he felt like it.» Do not waste your time or money on this place!

I feel strongly enough about my disappointment that I created a Unilocal account just to tell you. We ordered chow mein which was wildly disappointing and inedible. It looked like slimy vegetables in some type of grey sauce. When we called to complain she basically told us to live with it. There were no noodles in the chow mein, just slimy vegetables. It came with a wonton soup, tasted like dirty dishwater with noodles in it and fried rice, that was dry and disappointing. Its hard to find good Chinese food in the city. But if you’re looking, don’t go here. To end on a positive note the orange chicken was not terrible.

Standard generic American Chinese food. They are a little stingy with the amount of meat they give you and this place is priced slightly higher than similar establishments. However, the food was well prepared and was not greasy at all. The fried rice that comes with their combo meals in particular is healthily made — fluffy fried rice with a bit of egg.

I was in here yesterday slightly before 1:00. I saw they had both Chinese and Thai food available. Usually when there is more than one Asian country’s food, one is better than the other. I decided to give the pad Thai with shrimp a try. The food was ready within less than ten minutes. The lunch special came with a can of soda. The Pad Thai had lots of chopped peanuts and bean sprouts. There was more than enough shrimp which is usually what gets skimped on when you order anything with shrimp. There was lime wedge for squeezing if you so desired. Since I had put the hot sauce on it, i did squeeze the lime wedge onto my food to cut some of heat. Not the best pad Thai I’ve had but certainly not bad.

Just terrible. The general taos chicken was the worst ive ever eaten. The pork fried rice was a mystery. With the amount of places in nyc, you can do better. Hard to believe this place is still in business.

The word«hangry» is what Aaron’s has caused me to become. I have been waiting for my delivery for 90 minutes without a sign of the grub anywhere. The phone line does not work, so do not even try to call them. When the delivery man called he told me that he was in the lobby, so my assistant left the board meeting to go to the lobby: no delivery man. It blows my mind that these places are still in business. Do not order from here.

Its a chinese Thai fast food place… so it’s expectations are somewhat skewed towards the amerian asian food(which is what it is.) So with that — the food is alright since you don’t actually stay there to eat. I had the lunch special and since it’s their relative grand opening — they offer 20% off the entire menu, including the lunch specials. At 7.50, but with 20% off it’s like 6 and change after tax and you get a ton of food. Whatever you order, plus rice, veggie fried rice or pork fried rice, and soup or a soda(or maybe an egg roll i’m not sure) and each thing you get is a ton of food. It’s not terrible, but not amazing — and in my opinion it’s food is pretty standard across american asian food, even if it’s some sort of pan-asian fusion.

Thanks but no thanks. Pink chicken(to me looked and tasted uncooked). Red curry was NOT thai red curry… it was just something else(I couldn’t even tell you). The wonton soup had a broth that just tasted old. NEVER again.

Ordered delivery, was told 30 – 45 minutes, food arrived closer to 90 minutes later. The fried pork dumpling were a little too doughy for me. Wonton soup wasn’t bad, and was probably the standout in an otherwise boring meal, though the broth could have used a bit more flavor(either pork and/or salt). Neither my roommate nor I were impressed by the mushu pork. I wanted a taste of something a little different(i.e., not typical American Chinese takeout), so I got the roast pork hunan-schezuan style. Mind you, hunan and schezuan(sichuan) are different styles altogether, but it became quite clear that the restaurant tagged these dishes with these labels just to indicate that they are somewhat spicy. What you get is slices of roast pork covered in a somewhat-spicy reddish-brown sauce. The sauce is nothing like you’d actually get from a true hunan or schezuan restaurant nor as fiery. Bottom line: long wait, mediocre food.

Place is clean. Haven’t had a bad meal yet. The pad thai is good. Generals tao Chix good. Lomain goods. What else can you ask for. And they’re quick. Simple quick good.
