Tiny café with wifi and outlets but no public restrooms so if you plan to stay here to work, that would be unfortunate. Mediocre lattes, and okay counter service. Good to stop in if you’re in the area or just want to escape the cold.

I live a block away from this place and go there on a semi regular basis. Pros: They have an extensive deli-like menu with some healthy options. Coffee is generally decent. Cons: They often mess up orders. It’s actually kind of ridiculous and comical at this point. The orders can take forever to get made, so if you’re in a hurry go somewhere else. Overall, this place is a block away from me so I will continue to go there. However, if you don’t live in the neighborhood I would suggest going elsewhere.

I’ve been coming here for 7 years and loved it, but today I was extremely disappointed. We ordered egg sandwiches and brought them home and realized when we got back to our apartment that they completely messed up our order. I called them to ask them to deliver the correct sandwiches and they told me it would take a long time and that they couldn’t do that. They asked me to come back in, yet another inconvenience, so they could credit us. The sandwich was wrong, and on top of that, completely dried out. This place has gone down hill and I am really appalled at the service I received today.

Love this place! It is a little pricey, but the food is great. However, it is better to go earlier rather than later in the day if there’s something you’re specifically going for– I went in the afternoon and they were almost out of biscuits. Otherwise, a great place that I visit often!

A little bit of France in an amazing part of the West Village. I used to live on this street for a number of years before I moved to LA. This café always had my favorite weekend latte, scrambled egg bowl for lunch during the week, or pastry when on the go. I pop by every time I visit NYC on business now. The owner works behind the register many days I think, so you get a real feel for good service. The wifi connection is strong too, which matters.

The food is not good, the space is too small, and while I was there they messed up multiple guests order, including mine. Also does not appear clean. Never again.

Ok at best. The avocado toast was smothered in cilantro. Disappointing. Wish the sandwiches weren’t served on biscuit. Overall a let down. Wouldn’t return.

Ordered delivery. Got the wrong sandwich and while I was given a refund, I am still leaving a review because the sandwich I did get is completely gross. They gave me the mozzarella sandwhich. The mozzarella is not«fresh». Its tough and smells spoiled. The arugula has also gone bad and its just a soggy cold mess. Do not waste your time or money on delivery. It also came within 10 or 15 minutes of me making my order. Don’t do it! My stomach is already hurting from the mozzarella i did eat.

Pretty darn good sandwiches and juices. Cute location, but it’s easy to spend 45 minutes there and find out that you have to get up, the staff is quite strict about the time limit, which makes sense given how popular the place is. Great spot on a beautiful little block.

Love this little café, which is a bit off of the beaten path in WV. Just had the most amazing avocado toast. Great smoothies. Friendly service. Just a good, solid homely spot.

My friend and I stopped in here mid-afternoon to grab a drink on a hot day. The Blackberry Ginger Lemonade was amazing! The staff is very friendly and the pastries look delicious as well. I loved the atmosphere!

I really enjoy 11th Street Café. They have great food, and offer interesting choices as well as some more traditional menu items for the less adventurous. The coffee and tea are both top knotch, baked goods are delectable, and the staff is very helpful when deciding what to order. I have loved everything I’ve ordered here! Blueberry muffin: yum! Iced coffee: Delish… you know it’s good coffee when it doesn’t need sugar! Lox Bagel: fantastic, and I love how they add sprouts. Bacon Egg Cheese: Mmm, mmm

3.5 Stars. A nice little café/coffee shop in the middle of a nice residential neighborhood. I stopped here for breakfast and a quite cup of coffee. The staff was very nice — maybe the best part about this place. I felt very welcome here and almost like I was invited to a neighbors house for breakfast. Its a very small location with maybe 12 total seats, and its very crammed in. The coffee was decent, but nothing special. I also ordered the pesto, mozzerella scrambled eggs in a whole wheat wrap. It was also decent, but again really nothing notable. This was pretty forgettable, but not in a bad way necessarily. They just serve decent breakfast and lunch at a decent price with decent coffee. So if you are walking by, sure stop in, but don’t go out of your way.

Ordered a salad with dressing on the side. I am familiar with salad with and without dressing, and this salad was dripping with a ton of oil. When I asked if dressing was on the side the waitress said yes and brought me a side cup. Just be honest about it and if I’m paying $ 15 for a crappy salad, please just put the dressing on the side. They may be able to do pretty designs on lattes but the coffee just a crappy cup of coffee. Staff appeared really unhappy. For the cost, go somewhere good. Recommend Café Minerva or Chalait on 7th and Christopher. Chalait will not disappoint.

So disappointing! For years this was my favorite coffee shop in NYC. I loved their biscuit sandwiches. I excitedly went there for breakfast today and was disappointed to see that their quality has declined substantially. The once delicious biscuit is now a smooshed, greasy, bun that looks more like a Mickey D’s bun. Not sure what happened here, but it looks like I’ll be finding a new go-to in the west village.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Manhattan– amazing coffee(one barista makes great designs in it), cool, friendly clientele, and a great breakfast and lunch menu. I’m here almost every day, and whether I’m with friends, reading alone, or doing work on my computer, it’s the perfect stop. Anyone who appreciates balanced, nuanced coffee should go here immediately! No pretense, no nonsense, just a great local stop.

Two stars only because they have good pastries and the staff is generally nice. However, the BLT has really gone downhill. It was dripping in grease and the bacon was just one giant glob of squishy, chewy fat. When I called a few times to replace the order… no answer. A giant disappointment.

Nice neighborhood pit-stop for a coffee. Prices are tolerable and the digs and dishes are unpretentious. There are some newspapers around for you to read.

This place is perfection. I’m from Seattle and anytime I’m in NYC, I make it a point to visit this little café. I always order a cappuccino. I’m picky about coffee and I find theirs to be excellent. Their fresh squeezed orange juice is some of the best I’ve ever had. And their whole wheat wrap burrito with scrambled eggs, cheese, tomato and chive is to die for. I’ve also had a biscuit and egg sandwich; also very good. I’m sure the rest of their menu is good too but I can’t get past these items. Today I traveled from the Upper East Side area down to the Village, just to go here. I’ve been here upwards of 20 times and have never had surly or rude service. I find that all over New York, people are more reserved. They aren’t warm and bubbly, but I don’t need them to be when I’m ordering food. They just get down to business and that’s fine with me.
