I agree with reviewer Vicky, this is a welcoming bar. For the most part, the clientele is nice, friendly and chatty. The bartender was really cool, struck up a decent conversation, and was some nice eye candy.
I as well stuck to beer so I cannot comment on the pour of the drinks, but the Corona that I had was cold and relatively inexpensive. And yes, at the time I went there is no sign outside, but it is directly on the corner of Rampart and Toulouse.

I’ve been to a fair amount of gay bars, and there are some that are welcoming of all people, and there are some that are not as much. Thankfully, this one is a welcoming bar.
Everyone is really nice and friendly. Its not scene-​y at all. It has a very relaxed atmosphere where I know I can get a drink with a few friends and have a good calm time. The bartender is really nice about changing the tv’s to what ever you (or most people) want to watch. They do something special with every Saints game, but I forgot what is is. I stuck to beer that night, so I have no idea how the pour is on the cocktails, but the beer was decently priced. They charged my card to debit, so I don’t know if they take credit cards.
Pro-​tip: there’s no sign out front, so just know its the corner bar at Rampart and Toulouse.
