I agree with reviewer Vicky, this is a welcoming bar. For the most part, the clientele is nice, friendly and chatty. The bartender was really cool, struck up a decent conversation, and was some nice eye candy. I as well stuck to beer so I cannot comment on the pour of the drinks, but the Corona that I had was cold and relatively inexpensive. And yes, at the time I went there is no sign outside, but it is directly on the corner of Rampart and Toulouse.

I’ve been to a fair amount of gay bars, and there are some that are welcoming of all people, and there are some that are not as much. Thankfully, this one is a welcoming bar. Everyone is really nice and friendly. Its not scene-y at all. It has a very relaxed atmosphere where I know I can get a drink with a few friends and have a good calm time. The bartender is really nice about changing the tv’s to what ever you(or most people) want to watch. They do something special with every Saints game, but I forgot what is is. I stuck to beer that night, so I have no idea how the pour is on the cocktails, but the beer was decently priced. They charged my card to debit, so I don’t know if they take credit cards. Pro-tip: there’s no sign out front, so just know its the corner bar at Rampart and Toulouse.
