I wanted to give an equalizer to my earlier review. When I was in the past couple times it was a short wait in line and the prices were pretty decent, based on what I bought. The cashier joked around with me, so that was a plus, too!

I have never really been much of a fan of Save a Lot. But given the fact that this is the Holiday season money is pretty tight right now. So me and Save A Lot have become very good friends for the time being. The people here are Semi-Friendly. One cashier was very nice, while the other one kept trying to ignore me. Oh well I wasn’t expecting very decent service when I came in anyways. This is a grocery store in the ghetto you know. The selection here is not as grand as you would be accustomed to from Rouses or Winn-Dixie. But the prices themselves are pretty decent in fact a lot of the items their are cheaper than the mainstream grocery stores. Just a word of warning. Some of the junk food items you can actually get cheaper at Rouses. Still overall it is cheaper than most of the competitors. One of the few negative things about this place besides the whole,“bring your own bag” thing they got going on and the fact that the floors were dirty. Who knows that may be a fluke. But they really should try to clean it up more often. Oh yeah one more word of warning, Right around the first of the month the disability and welfare recipients get there food stamps so places like this tend to be crowded. In short great place to go when you are on a budget.
