Every time I go to the Pub, I immediately head to the doorway by the cigarette machine to see if the Parade is open yet. I love going upstairs, ordering drinks from the bartenders up there(they get creative when you ask them to make a shot for you) then sitting around on the balcony talking trash. Once that gets boring, I go inside and dance to all the fun music and watch the eye candy on the stage. Some people do not know how to behave themselves in public, and i love it! haha

Was surprisingly empty(during Mardi Gras weekend!), though it was only slightly less-gay than previously mentioned. Parade does a nice job of separating itself from Bourbon Pub downstairs… it’s probably only less-gay because there are less people upstairs. Balcony is nice, although be aware that this place is right at the border where Bourbon St. completely morphs from manic drunken party into rows of quiet residential shotgun houses. Additionally, the lighting around here is much less than upriver Bourbon, so it does get kind of dark(though it’s not pitch black by any means)… if you are looking for prime balcony-watching this isn’t the place at night Also, you get in on the lower level, which is Bourbon Pub, and you’ll have to walk through part of it to get upstairs. Cost me $ 10 to get in

I actually like this part of the popular Bourbon Pub. Feels just right!

Parade is upstairs of Bourbon Pub, and is basically just the«less-gay» section. Nice balcony and decent dancefloor. Strong drinks and less coke than downstairs.
