I have tried many Asian restaurants and I can vouch that the food here is great. It is actually made by Asians. Its better than Panda Express(last resort). The Wor Won Ton soup here is the bomb. Great value for the price of about 6 dollars and if its to go, they separate the broth from the food. Its not mushy when you get home, but is still piping hot. Made to order.

I’ve been coming here for YEARS. Yeah it was dirty, they’ve remodeled now. The service is adequate enough to keep coming back. I love their noodles, I love their broccoli/beef and i love their spicy chicken. Their food is amazing, some people don’t like it… But I do. Try their fried butterfly shrimp and eggrolls. Yum

I was eager to post a review on Unilocal to dissuade people from eating this trash, but my bowels were more eager to on in the restroom so here I am writing the review while sitting on the toilet. This is worse than Filipino food. I walked in and told the lady that I had never eaten here and asked if I could try a sample. She said only two samples because they don’t give samples normally. I was almost compelled to leave at this point because this is not how you entice a new potential customer. Anyways, I was getting a lot of food for a family of 4 so I passed on samples and got a little of everything. Even my 24 year college graduate son who eats food out of a garbage can could only eat about 1⁄3 of it. I would say we ate about 25% of the food total and threw it out. There is no way to describe it since it is so awful. The woman who ordered in front of me told me she comes here all the time and then remarked about how much they give you. Ughh!!! I normally avoid places that get this as their signature compliment. My thoughts, «If they really wanted to screw you over they would offer you a two for one special.» DONOTEATHERE!!! If you are local to here than go to the corner of Roscoe and Tampa instead for Chinese food. I should of not experimented tonight. Sorry family.

I Was working in the area and decided to try this place out even with the reviews it has I’m the type a person of second chances and well this place is not good. food been siting there for about 2 hours. noodles taste the same as every other«Fast Chinese Food» joint so does the orange chicken it has no good taste to make me wanna come back. I’m hoping somewhere out here in the valley there is a great family owned business that takes more pride in the quality of food. if your ever in Burbank try Frontier Wok

I went here once and never again. I always saw it on the way home and I was starving so I gave it a try. The inside is horrible, it gave a dirty feeling and the garbage was over full and stuff on the ground. They give you a large amount of food but it was gross. The rice was taste as if it was on the warmer for hours, the cho mein was super greasy and«chicken» had no flavor. I would avoid.

Typical Chinese fast food type joint More expensive than most, and not good at all. The rice was mush, worst I have had in the valley. I tried the spicy chicken and spicy pork, both were nothing but spicy celery. Both had a piece or two of assorted vegetables a couple little pieces of meat, and lots of celery. Too many other choices around to waist your time with this place.

The woman taking my order was rude and made my experience here an abomination. I have been eating at this restaurant for many years. I will not come back again. Talk about losing money and customers due to a careless employee who would not give me the order I asked for and then gave me an attitude. Don’t eat here.

I heard about this place through a friend and thought I’d try it out. I ordered the tofu and eggplant dish. When I got home I found red meat in it and quickly spit it out. I am allergic to red meat and could not eat my food. I think they serve all the different entrées with the same utensil. Gross!!! They are lucky I didn’t get sick or I would have taken this issue further.

Phewww!!! I shoulda known better. I have passed this place millions of times, and just passed it right on by. (Ughhhh. Absolutely the WORST hole in the wall EVER. Horrible décor inside, dirty feel to the place, the buffet food looks like it has been sitting there for YEARS(That’s why I ordered something made to order. Lol. Still HORRIBLE!!! How can something so simple as chicken chow mein and cream cheese wontons be so badly made. no LOVE at all put into it. Wait until you see the pix of the questionable meat inside the chow mein. omg. I didn’t eat ANY of that mystery meat. Mostly all noodles. Super greasy. The cream cheese wontons were also horrible. I’ve NEVER had cream cheese wontons where the cream cheese inside is RAW and runny. So disgusting. I will let all of my friends and associates know to NEVER go here to eat. It all went straight into the TRASH Also, when I entered the place, I picked up a take out menu, where they have crossed off all of the old prices and raised the prices for most of their menu. What a JOKE. The counter where you pay at… is SODAMNSCRUFFY looking. Just NASTY. Ok. I warned you. Lol

Well I guess living in the neighborhood next to this restaurant is okay I guess but when I first when I’n the place I was amazed how cheap the plates where compared to Panda Express twice as cheap… I got there orange chicken, beef and broccoli with chowmeam in a plate 5 $ I believe. As I believe u know it’s cheap when u taste it. It just so different from panda, I guess panda could be more pricey but for sure I would go there than this«Chinese place»

Being the awesomely fair and cool mofo that I am I decided to hit this place again because my co-worker suggested it. This time i went with his pitch which was black bean chicken and curry chicken over white rice. Wow! That shit was delicious, the chicken was tender and surprisingly not greasy. The curry was really tasty loaded with carrots and potatoes, why they call it curry I don’t know, it looks and tastes more like stew… but it’s cool, no complaints here. Rating just went up in my book.

They dont’t accept credit cards. Debit cards are accepted but charge 50 cents extra. No refills on soda, if you do need one it’s 50 cents per charge. For a few more dollars may as well go to Panda Express.

Yes the food is cheap and you get a lot of it but the food here is absolutely horrible! The fried rice was overcooked/mushy and had no eggs(basic ingredient of fried rice), the chow mein was so greasy that it wouldn’t even stay on my fork and just slide of it. The BBQ pork was very though to chew and had zero flavor. Some of the pieces of the meat were old and mixed in with newer batches so that they don’t waste anything. Nasty a$$ food! You need to get out more if you think Chinese food from here is good, I feel sorry for you if that’s the case. I got home and threw the food up because I was in disgust. TIP: If you want cheap Chinese food with huge portions go to OK Chinese food in Van Nuys! Like the name states, it’s OK only but much better than this place.

It’s a fast food place so wasn’t expecting much but the shrimp in broccoli in spicy brown sauce w fried rice was really good! Can’t wait to try out their other menu options.

You walk in and everything looks good but the food is mostly covered in a very heavy sauces everything is soggy nothing really has good flavor. Two plates and a large drink it came out to $ 15+ I thought that was too much for poor quality food.

I’ve been coming here forever, in this area it is probably your best choice for take out Chinese. I’ve never been disappointed with anything here but my favorites are the teriyaki and orange chicken. The chicken with green beans is also good. If you don’t like chicken skin or cartilage on your chicken then don’t get the teriyaki, authentic teriyaki isn’t boneless skinless chicken breasts FYI. Their wonton soup is enormous and it’s like 5 $ and just as good as the soup I’ve had at sit down restaurants.

Always enjoy this place. I always get the chicken fried rice which is enormous in size and cheap. Seriously can not be beat. Three of us at work share one serving and sometimes we still have leftovers. I always order ahead and pick up and the staff is always great here.

This review is based off of four topics: Pricing, Convenience, and Service, and the overall look of the place. I did not end up buying food here because of these factors. The biggest problem I had here was they only accept cash. They have a shady ATM you may use that charges you if you prefer. I’m not cheap, but if I wanted to spend that much, I’d just hit up the cleaner looking Panda Express. If I remember correctly, it did not say no credit card at the front door; it only stated an ATM was inside. The place is right on the corner of Balboa and Roscoe, and there is parking usually always available. The woman who was helping me seemed pretty nice I’ll give her that, but I’m sure I pissed her off after I had her put my food in a box, and then I walked out after she said they only had an ATM and did not accept credit card. The food looked fresh and yummy. The inside is kinda dingy and the eating area is awkward. It did not seem like they had free refills. The surrounding area is kinda crappy looking, but it’s my home town so I’m used to it. Pricing was not that great. I think it was $ 6 for a main entrée and two sides, or something like that. It was barley cheaper than a Panda Express but not as much food. I might do the favor for them and not come back since I left out of the wrong foot, but seriously, it’s 2013. Charge me for the transaction of using my credit card, but please offer the option to me.

Friends, this place has the best Chinese take out food your are going to find anywhere around! I’m giving five stars because this place really is as good as it gets for Chinese take out food. I’m not going to compare Peking Wok to a gourmet restaurant because it isn’t one. The quality of the food is excellent. That hyper-sodium you get from every other take out place that has the same entrees is not here. And the amount of food you get for the price is a very good bargain. Tonight I tried the black bean chicken for the first time and it is excellent just like the other entrees. I got lucky to have this place close to where I live! Mark!
