Del Taco

I usually go to this Del Taco because it’s around the block from my place. Only done drive thru in this place. Their drive thru is usually fast and friendly. They always get my order right. Tried the shrimp tacos they were not that good. But everything else I order is always good. I usually get the tacos and quesadillas. Workers are usually friendly here except one grumpy Hispanic guy with a mustache. He seems always grumpy.

This is the worst dell taco I have ever ate at. The chicken taste like its a week old and they microwave it. Sucks that it’s the closest one to my house. Tried this place 3 times and it got worse and worse. Will never be back here

I love the food there and also I would highly recommend this restaurant to the everybody! .I had left my phone at this location and I was amazed how honest the employees are by returning me the phone… thank you! An A+ restaurant…

I come here every Sunday now before hitting the gym. The ladies behind the counter are really nice, and at 6AM don’t judge me for stuffing my greasy salt bloated face with fries. And they make it fresh to boot. The one thing that set it apart for me, was buying a small coffee. It’s pretty much every other restaurants’ medium to large. I inquired as to how they could consider this «small.» To which the lady behind the counter told me (not realizing I meant it as a joke) that if I wanted any more just let her know.
Since the first cup went straight to the dome, I figure why not raid their dollar menu. Needless to say, sidetracked to the gym.

The food is great and I enjoy having Mexican fast food nearby as they provide a variety of menus and offerings sure to delight one’s taste.
This is at such a prime location, making it very convenient for anyone driving by at major cross streets to spend their hard earned money. I think this is important for this establishment, as they are in tough competition with other Mexican fast foods/​traditional restaurants in the diverse area, such that any signs of impropriety on their part, would reflect negatively on their image and ultimately their bottom line.
Nevertheless, it will be wise for customers to always double check your quoted price (including the 9% tax), prior to handing over your money.
I was quoted roughly an extra $ 1.34 more for 2 Spicy Chicken burritos that were on sale for $ 5.00. Simply take out your calculator (smartphone) and multiply whatever the cost of the item (s) you are buying by 1.09. That should be what you are paying for.
Period.
Unfortunately, if you happen to run across a time slot, from which employees are spearheaded by a «manager» called Mai, you may need to clutch your wallet a little tighter, or to find some other eatery. Whether if this is her personal policy to charge extra money to customers (and to doctor the final receipt and then to save face by telling customers that their credit card declined when they are corrected), or a policy isolated by just this one store, or a pervasive practice in this chain culture is difficult to say.
In the long run, it will be the informed customers who will base their purchasing decision based on this store’s reputation; unless of course, management decides to step in and to make some adjustments.

I go to this Del Taco a lot. Food is typical, not bad, not great, it’s what you’d expect from Del Taco and fast food in general. However, last night when I went there, there was no one in the drive thru lane and when I get to the order box, the guy tells me to hold on a minute and then proceeds to have a cell phone conversation with a friend with his headset on. «Bro, did I leave my brown hat there…» on and on, and just leaves me sitting there. I finally drove away. Complete disrespect from the staff. Yeah, way to make your case for $ 15.00 an hour.

I’m pretty sure i witnessed someone laying down a whopping fart on my burrito. It still tasted great, but that clearly just happened. Will return. Guwop

Best customer service at a any fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to. They were nice and friendly and both the supervisor and employee were cracking jokes and commenting on my stone cold steve austin shirt. They both greeted me the minute I walked in. I loved that it was a real hello not an oh this is my job and im required to say hello type of thing but it was real. They Tried to start small talk with me and were just sharing smiles the whole time. This is very rare now and days. The place itself is eh okay but the service makes up for it. Keep it up guys.

good fast food. The server had a smile, which is always a plus. I like the bean cup and the tacos.

One star minus because of the strawberry lemonade brew… the leaves are torture and get stuck in the straw. You have to use a blowgun technique to dislodge it…
Other than that, great place. Friendly staff and very good fast food. The turkey tacos are great.

Food is the same as almost any other Del Taco but the dining area just seemed dirty and unkept. I ended up leaving with my food instead of dining there because it just felt grungy. Food tasted great as always though… I have never had cleanliness concerns or quality concerns with Del Taco in the 10 years I’ve occasionally gone there. I am usually not a drive-​up-​window taco junkie — I prefer Poquito Mas and Rubios and places that have generally more upscale tacos but Del Taco does have a homemade twinge to it and I like that, and that’s why I keep going back.

I love the chipotle chicken soft tacos and double del burgers.
I only ever drive thru this location and they have yet to mess up an order. This last visit we had the friendliest gal– perky is an understatement.

This is my DT of choice to go to/​the closest one to my house. My food of choice is the Veggie Works Burrito with the occasional Cherry Coke to wash it down. For breakfast I love their Bacon and Egg Quesadilla or their Bacon and Egg Burrito. So bad, yet sooo goood.

Has to be the slowest Del Taco I have ever been to. All I wanted was 1 chicken soft taco and they took over 10 minutes.

Great price, delicious and good service. The ppl working there were patient and helpful, brought the food to my table. I had flatbread tacos and a burrito and it was all fresh and good.
It’s a smaller place but seems that its never that crowded. A step up from taco bell.

Always running late in the morning on the way to work. This drive thru never has a wait when I pull up for my $ 0.86 breakfast burrito lol. The young Filipino lady in the mornings is a sweet heart and always has a smile on her face. 5 stars just for her excellent customer service.

Drive-​thru — not a long line on a weekday afternoon
Customer service — top notch! Very polite, and they don’t push «the special» (like churros) if you’re not interested. The lady at the drive-​thru pleasantly asked, «Would you mind waiting a minute before I take your order?» Most drive-​thru places aren’t that courteous. Plus they got my order right. With Del Taco, I usually have to pull over after I get my order to double check and make sure I got everything. No problems here.
Hard shell tacos — they’re your average Del Taco tacos. Just glad that the recipe is consistent and CHEAP! That’s always a plus.

Thats five stars for the staff. Theres an older gentleman who works the drivethru late at night, hes been here for over 15+ years. I remember him serving me as a kid. Hes a hard worker and always gets my order right. Thanks guy.

This is Del Taco, so you know what you get. But tonight, I had to ask the guy to give me my change, and when I drove away, I was shorted one item. Personally, I think it sucks when you drive away from a drive thru and you are missing an item. So from now on I go to the Del Taco at Balboa and Roscoe (not that much farther). You let me down and I’m so upset about it!

This is the neighborhood Del Taco and our go to place when we need some 39 cent tacos! The tacos have been inconsistent… sometimes great other times a bit short on the cheese/​meat, etc. Its really hard to find too many faults with a Del Taco but when we have gone, the restaurant isn’t the cleanest but the service has always been friendly and quick.
Overall…you can’t expect too much more for a couple tacos :)
