Bagel One

I came here for the first time yesterday and ate what was quite possibly the best bagel I have ever eaten in my life — and I am a big fan of bagels. I had a bit of option paralysis because there are so many bagels and flavors of cream cheese, panicked and picked the garlic and spinach bagel with vegetable cream cheese. This was the opposite of a mistake, whatever that is. Prices are extremely fair (2 bagels and two drinks for $ 9 — you could get a subpar version of this at Dunkin for the same price) and the staff was nice and I am so sad I live 30 minutes from this place. Can’t wait to go back.

It’s called bagel one, get anything on a bagel. they are good. It’s a great business plan. Also the coffee is good.

Everyone loves bagel one. No need to elaborate. (TOMATO BASIL BAGELS) But i will add as a side note — i love that they have half-​sized napkins and rainforest alliance certified coffee.

I used to go to Bagel One all the time when I was at UConn. I did not realize then how good I had it! No other bagel shop compares to Bagel One. Their bagels are fresh and tasty and they have the best flavor selection around.
I had a fondness for the sunflower seed bagels back in college (I’m pretty sure our dining halls must have gotten their bagels here as well, since we had sunflower seed bagels every day). The nuttiness, when toasted with just a little butter… it’s just perfect. In my adult life, I’ve never found these bagels anywhere else. One spot had a «sunflower seed bagel» that appeared to just be a plain or egg bagel with sunflower seeds «pasted» all over the outside. No bueno. One Sunday morning, I was out doing errands and just decided to take the ride to North Windham for some bagels. 10 — 13 bagels cost just $ 10 (of course, I got 13), which is a pretty fair deal. My freezer is now stocked with my most favorite bagel, and I couldn’t be happier.
In my opinion, Bagel One is worth the drive from anywhere, their bagels are beyond compare.

Best bagels around! Never been disappointed. The bagels are made fresh daily. The atmosphere leaves much to be desired but other then that, amazing food!

I love me some Bagel One! Always fresh and delicious. I could eat an asiago bagel from here every day. The place could definitely be cleaner, however, but it’s a great neighborhood location with kickass food.

Yet to be disappointed! A little pricey but you get great service and nice environment. There is some self serve and it doesn’t lean towards a specialty café, it’s a lot more focused on the core essentials. There’s a nice walk down the road in between the airport/​mansfield hollow dam.

This place is awesome. I love the veggie cream cheese, asiago bagel I love the sausage egg and cheese with toasted tomatoes and onions. I wish prices were cheaper but you can’t beat this place. Local and great

Great bagels and exceptional coffee … Only downside is the consistency in the staffs aloofness, and their inability to understand «toasted twice» and if cheese goes on your bagel or not That being said, restaurants and customer service is very difficult to manage.

This place is a local gem. Its been around for most of my lifetime and the food has always been good.

Good food with good prices. Staff is friendly and very helpful.

Very good bagels & bagel sandwiches plus great coffee – yay for Bagel One!

This humble diamond in the rough is a must visit for fresh bagels and coffee. Plenty of varieties of bagels are made on the premises and sold by an efficient if unemotional staff. Make sure you have plenty of time as the counter help are unaware of term «speed».
But it’s worth the wait as bagels are fresh and delicious,

good bagels, especially for North Windham.
NYC it is not, but passable bread-​like, some bubbles, some crispyness, a little bit chewy. overall, not bad.
i liked their «crazy bagel» with everything.

I would just like to say how wonderful B1 is. I have never been to such a place, around where I live there is garbage. But B1 is such a great way to start off my day. I wish I could go there everyday, its perfect for breakfast or lunch. I just wish B1 was open later that is probably the only flaw. I always order a blueberry bagel with cream cheese and it is just too tasty to pass up this lovely bagel over flowing with creamy cream cheese! =)
I would also like to comment on the person below me who stated that he did not get enough chicken on his bagel because my boyfriend always orders the same thing and gets plenty of delicious buffalo chicken on his.

It’s the place to get bagels in the area. As authentic as it gets in this part of the state. Many cream cheeses to choose from and always fast and great service. If you have been having that hunkering for that bagel burger and a Snapple to wash it down with — Bagel One is the only one.
