Quaint neighborhood bar and grill. My favorite thing to eat here is the tenderloin sandwich

As the NKC area is starting to become more popular, this place is a must-stop. They have a good beer selection, have local brews on tap, and at great prices. Their food is very good and I would rate it on the classier side of just bar food. I am a sucker for the $ 1 tacos on Fridays, though. The space is great and the outdoor patio is probably the nicest is NKC. Since the Royals ALDS game 1 is tonight, I’ll definitely be heading to P&J’s to help get the party started. Go Royals!!!

Went on Friday for lunch time, restaurant was about ½ — ¾ full of patrons, and my party was a 6-top. Choosing to sit outside was a mistake because our server forgot we were out there. It was obvious we were forgotten when the food arrived about 45 minutes later, lukewarm to cold. We had to directly ask for drink refills and the silverware. My food, an appetizer, was completely forgotten, with the oversight being blamed on «the ticket getting lost». Points for management comping my entire meal, but they lost any future business from me.

Well prepared variety of bar food. Great service. TV screens for sports, and a good pg atmosphere for the kids.

Paul & Jack’s is quite popular in North Kansas City and I can definitely see why. Stopped in for lunch the other day with the boyfriend and enjoyed a turkey/bacon wrap and he had a turkey burger, we both got sides of cottage cheese. The service was great and the food was fresh and even the turkey burger was delicious. This was actually my second time here— the first time I came with a coworker for a quick bite to eat and we both got a buffalo chicken wrap. The buffalo is on the spicy side but they have a great ranch to pair with it. I’ve not had anything bad here but I must warn you that they are popular for their chili(and it’s not my favorite). It’s different than most chili’s that you normally would get but some people really like it(especially if you aren’t a fan of beans). Overall, Paul & Jack’s knows what they’re doing and they’re a quick lunch option with good choices. If you’re in the area, they aim to please.

This place was quite hidden if you don’t know where it was as it wasn’t on a main road like Armour Road. I came here with a few teammates for lunch before noon. It was pretty busy but still a bunch of tables available. In the middle of the place was a decent-sized bar. We were seated in the back area where there was a tv and was cozy back there. Our waitress was pretty busy as she was tending to all of the tables in the back area. The menu had a lot of choices from burgers to sandwiches to others I can’t remember. I decided to order the Chili Dip Burger($ 7.99) which sounded good. I was able to substitute the chips for fries since I felt fries complement burgers better than chips. The food took a long time to come out, but it might have been really busy in the front area. The Chili Dip Burger was good and the chili that was on the burger wasn’t what I was expecting. It looked like it was ground beef like the same ones that was in tacos. The chili was definitely interesting, but I thought it complemented the burger. The fries were unsalted, but it was fine since I had part of the chili that fell out of my burger to eat with it. Overall, I thought the food was good and good place to grab some bar food.
