Restaurant Y Cenaduria Guadalajara is a gold mine that deserves to be discovered and recognized by the Los Angeles Unilocal community. I’m honored to be the first review of this place and to any of my Unilocal friends that are intrigued by this review, I go all-in and risk any reputation that I may have to say that this is one of the best Mexican places in this part of LA. Granted, it is no Las Fuentes but the quality of the food here is absolutely top-notch. Tucked away in a shoddy neighborhood flooded with a plethora of other Mexican restaurants, food trucks, and XXX stores, this little gem provided me one of the best lunches I’ve had this year to date. Best deal here: 2 tacos for $ 1.50. I swear, next time, I may end up going just to get 8 or 10 tacos. This time however, I got myself two tacos. Both Al Pastor – and I also got myself a chicken burrito without onions. For such a small food item, those two tacos packed such a powerful, flavorful punch. The tacos were to die for. And the chicken burrito while definitely not living up to the biggest of expectations in terms of quantity, definitely surpassed that of quality. Go here – now.
