I visited this location again and it was absolutely great. The service was great. Still a little slow but the food and atomsphere was amazing.

I’ll be the first to admit that they make a really wicked chicken(I don’t normally use the term«wicked» but I thought it might be appropriate slang since they are the«Boston» Market). But I have a complaint about the service. I am in the North Haven CT. area about once a month for business. I have visited this Washington Ave. store at least 5 times in the last year or so at or around 6PM. I have actually been served food there twice. The other three times the restaurant ran out of chicken. As I am not an expert in fast food nor a food critic you may not consider me qualified to offer any advice on this subject. But I do eat at least three times a day, often in restaurants. With that in mind I offer the following constructive criticism: THEYNEEDTOCOOKMORECHICKEN. My thinking is that people get hungry in the early evening(«dinnertime»), and that would be a good time to keep plenty of food available for sale. 6PM? Let’s have lots of hot chicken. 10PM? Not so much, they could probably cut back then. This advice can also be applied to lunchtime. As this has happened frequently at this store I’m guessing the«we’ve run out of chicken» thing may be standard procedure or in some way unavoidable. If so I offer a Plan B to keep customers from becoming irate(I saw this happen on many occasions when they you ran out of food). Rather than having people waste time standing in a non-existent food line one of the employees could make the following announcement each evening around 6PM: «ATTENTIONCUSTOMERS: BYTHETIMEYOUWORKYOURWAYUPTOTHEFRONTOFTHELINETOPLACEYOURORDERWEWILLBEOUTOFCHICKEN. EXPECT A TENTOTWENTYMINUTEWAITWHILEWEFINDANDTHENCOOKMORECHICKEN. PLEASEADJUSTYOURDININGPLANSACCORDINGLY.» In all seriousness, I’m going to miss their chicken.

As a chain, I don’t really mind Boston Market. It’s not great, but it’s by no means terrible. They actually serve up some pretty tasty meals, and I’ll stop here maybe once or twice a year for a quick lunch or something. The staff at this location is really nice, and it’s always clean. but anytime I’ve ordered a salad from this particular store, it’s had something rotten in it. Soggy lettuce, slimy veggies, it’s always something, so I definitely question their attention to detail when cooking and preparing foods. I’ve stopped coming to this location, but I have no problem with Boston Market as a whole.

FRESH, FRIENDLy and FAST! This location offers a wide variety of healthy options. Their Rotisserie Chicken is succulent and priced just right. I tried the ¼ chicken platter, which comes with two side options. I chose double veggies. The meat just melted off the bone. I should have upgraded to the ½ chicken for only $ 1 more… my bad :-(they also offer unlimited fountain drinks. There are a lot of fast food choices in this area, but why waste your time when you can have this type of food for a moderate price. I also noticed that I got a coupon once I cashed out, BONUS! 20% off my next meal purchase, not bad. If your traveling, this is a very comfortable place to stop. There are plenty of booths and the restrooms are clean.

Food there is so delicious. I have been to several Boston Markets and one thing I could say about them is that the food and the service is relatively the same. This place in particular, the food and the people are extra good and friendly. I am usually very satisfied and full with Boston Market.
