Great service and good selection. Not as vast in store items like REI, but has everything you need if you are going camping. Got some great items on sale. Look online for printable coupons ;)

The entire staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, accommodating, and not obnoxiously pushy on making big sales to their customers, unlike many other similar stores. I got great winter hiking gear here about a year ago; snow pants, waterproof leggings, a jacket, and a waterproof long-sleeve shirt. The total was pricey, but it was a bit of a necessary splurge to prepare for safe winter hiking. If only this place wasn’t so expensive I’d definitely visit more often.

If you’re into anything outdoors this is a great store to visit and shop in. I get into the store at least once a week just to see whats new and look around and I always end up walking out with something. What makes this place so great is the staff, they’re friendly, helpful, always willing to stop and talk to you and to see if you need help. I went in to buy a pair of Keen sandals with a 20% off coupon I had. The sandals I wanted were on sale for $ 80. Alas, this store didn’t have them but they found a pair in their Princeton store, called the store, had them hold the sandals, and honored the coupon to boot. The greatest customer service EVER. They sell all the brands you expect, North Face, Timbuk2, etc but it is the people that work there that make it great.

I prefer REI over EMS but that’s because i’m originally from the west coast. But this stores is great with a really helpful staff. Wish they had a bigger biking department.
