Lived here almost 3 years now. It’s not a «luxury» apt but it’s still pretty nice. It’s clean, has good amenities, and the price is right. The bad: Nothing about the apt or staff really. Some of the neighbors let their kids run loose, unattended, which isn’t too bad regarding noise, but still. The good: The staff are friendly and I’ve never had any problems getting maintenance to come out. For the most part, there is 24 hour attendance in the lobby, so you can usually go just about any time to pick up packages. The gym is so so, with a couple of treadmills, bikes, some free weights, and an all purpose exercise strength machine thing. There’s a pool, lounge, and business suite. The lounge is like a large living room with a kitchen. The business suite it pretty minimal and open to the atrium so not exactly quiet. The pool seems clean and staffed with a lifeguard most of the time. Never been in it, honestly, but I can hear the kids splashing around in the summertime and they seem to enjoy it! The office has free coffee and tea from one of those non-Keurig machines, which is pretty nice. One of the better features in my opinion is attached garage parking with no additional fee. This is especially nice of you have multiple cars. The metro stop is super close by, as well as the Harris Teeter. Overall, I like living here and will probably stay a few more years.

This review is more about the process leading up to rental. We had narrowed it down to two places with the Strathmore being one. It was nice, seemed quiet and the balcony view over the courtyard was pleasant enough. The appliances seemed a little dated given the price range they operate in, but the closeness to the metro and the feel made it a contender. The leasing staff though was very helpful and professional. Even though we went with the other option, I can’t say enough about how nice it was working with Spencer and the other leasing staff. Bozzuto doesn’t own the building, only manages, so if that changes you might want to give it extra scrutiny. But, if you need something quiet and near the metro and have cars(parking is free) you should check it out.

Buzzotto does not own it, they only manage it. We had 20plus issues, repetitive and minimal was done. the building quality is below par, not maintained well, etc. Buzzotto is not concerned as much since they fo not own the bldg. Will list more issues, but later. If I knew, I never would have rented this apartment.
